Paper map and compass! You need these in the event your nav device fails. Learn how to navigate properly rather than relying on tech. If the tech fails you won’t have a clue where u are or how to get down. I haven’t seen any bloggers promoting good manual nav skills. Hope this is taken as positive encouragement. Thanks for the vids, very helpful.
Hi Mate. Nice video. Reference the map nav thjng with compass. I’ve signed up for a two day intermediate nav course in the peaks. It does cost more than a fiver but figured it’s an investment in my safety should my watch and phone both happen to break leaving me without GPS 😊. It’s prob a worthwhile skill having.
For anyone like me who reacts a lot to midge or mozzie bites, get some shops own brand antihistamine tablets for the first aid kit. If it’s likely you’re going to get bit, take a tablet in the morning. If you do then get bit and start reacting, I take another. Seems to help more than topical creams. ...and learn to use a map and that bloody compass! 🙂
i definitely need to learn how to map read , a compass has been in my ebay shopping cart for weeks lol , i managed to get 3 sit mats off Temu for less than a fiver and they were purple , cheapest colour , you think your tight ha ha ha
Not for this video cause it’s more than a £5 but we’ve just for a fextail lightrepel best thing for keeping your camp midge free even on the low setting it’s performing well suppose summer be the real test but worth looking at bro 👌
