I'm really loving this, and it's so easy. I'm making one for a baby boy so I chose yellow, blue, green, white, and gray. I'll end up using this pattern for another baby blanket next and I think I'll try doing 4 double/treble crochets in each "cluster" to see how it looks.
Exciting I can't wait to get notified for this multi colored granny blanket. I was just thinking about the mood blanket you made years ago and was wondering if you would come out with another blanket. something we can all do and well here it is a granny. AWESOME
@@bellacococrochetty for making these videos coco and I been lurning how to do chains and squares of crotcheting and my Aunt told me surch chains crotching and in saw your video and I made chains ty for teaching Coco Bella I subscribeed ❤
Thank you for sharing your technique. You learn something new every day as I never thought of turning over after each row to make it more consistent. 👍💕💕
I discovered your channel several years ago when you had started your channel and had only uploaded just a few videos… your instructions are clear and so easy to follow! Thanks to you, I learnt how to crochet and now have a hobby for life and I will be forever grateful to you for that. ❤ For this blanket, why do you turn the square over before starting the next row? Can you not crotchet each row on the same side?
Beautiful colour combination. Cannot wait to get cracking with this when I am back at home! Currently travelling wishing I had my Crochet hook with me lol x
I need help. I am wanting to work on the final edge. However, I’m using a different color than my last row. How do I connect a new color to do the final edge?
I’m glad you like it! 😊 You can just join with a slip stitch, and then chain to continue the next round. You can see what I mean by watching my tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/GALGQdP_POw/v-deo.html
I love this blanket and I plan to make one soon. How would I go about making this same pattern without any color changes? I'm a beginner, and I'm not sure what to do once I get the first square made and don't want to change yarn.
I’m glad you like it! 😊 To continue in the same colour you would finish your round by joining with a slip stitch, and then chain to begin your next round. If you have a look at my granny square tutorial here you will see what I mean: ua-cam.com/video/GALGQdP_POw/v-deo.htmlsi=955DIFQCEjQ4hk-U
Your videos are always wonderful. Quick question… will you be selling an advent calendar this year? I missed it last year and really don’t want to miss it this year. Thank you !!
Thank you, you can find all the information you need in the written pattern that can he found using this link - blog.bellacococrochet.com/granny-square-blanket-free-crochet-pattern/ :)
If you don’t want to change colours you can just continue onto the next round by working your chain stitches, and then continuing 😊 You can see what I mean by watching my tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/GALGQdP_POw/v-deo.html
If I’m using just one colour after you slip stitch and then tie off, can I instead slip stitch in the next two stitches to the next corner to start my next granny cluster or would you recommend something else?
I'm working this pattern and I'm having a challenge working the granny set over the bump that is left when cutting previous row and pulling through. Any tips appreciated. Thanks.
It helps if you can hold the tail of the yarn that’s left from cutting the previous row to the side so that you can work over it. You can also work your stitches slightly to the side of the bump and then hide it when you come to sewing the ends in, by threading it back under the stitches 😊
Hi 👋 I’ve tried to join one of your Facebook groups, but got declined & I don’t know why ? 😢 please help. I’ve followed you for some time & I’ve made the really chunky baby blanket as one of my first projects ❤

I'm going to try this one as I usually struggle to keep my granny square blankets 'square'.
Let me know how you get on :)
I need help. I am wanting to work on the final edge. However, I’m using a different color than my last row. How do I connect a new color to do the final edge?
I've made one of these as my first project and love it! I want to make another in one colour without changing yarn, how do i start a new row??
I’m glad you like it! 😊 You can just join with a slip stitch, and then chain to continue the next round. You can see what I mean by watching my tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/GALGQdP_POw/v-deo.html

It’s not plastic 😅

Can you make a tutorial on the waist coat stitch?
Hi Bella wish you well. I want to learn Katherine whell stich, do you have the video?
Your videos are always wonderful. Quick question… will you be selling an advent calendar this year? I missed it last year and really don’t want to miss it this year. Thank you !!
Hi if you are referring to the Crochet Society advent calender I no longer work with them so you will have to contact them directly :)
How much yarn did you need for your blanket?
I did 32 rounds and the border and I’d say about 900 yards
This would be pretty with the Caron ombré yarn or even the red heart super saver ombré yarn
beautiful work what's a color combenation!😮
Thank you, you can find all the information you need in the written pattern that can he found using this link - blog.bellacococrochet.com/granny-square-blanket-free-crochet-pattern/ :)
Hi Sarah, Did you have yarn left over? Could you have done more rounds with just the 1 ball of each colour?
Do I need to turn my work after every row?
Yes, I'd recommend turning it after each round as this will keep the square nice and straight :-)
Hi, I was wondering what are the names of these shades you are using, as they are absolutely beautiful.
Thanks.
Suzzi xx
You can find all the information you require including the colours used on my blog - blog.bellacococrochet.com :)
Also if I don't want to change colors at the end of a row how do I continue on? Say I want to do 3 pink in the same sequence
Yes, if you wanted to continue using the same colour I would do exactly that and just continue adding rounds 😊
@@bellacococrochet brill, thank you so much for replying!
When you join into the top of the chain three with a slip stitch to finish the row are you going through one thread or two? I can't see
You can go through one thread but it’s more secure to go work under both parts of the chain stitch 😊
How many yards do i need to complete 34 x 34 inch blanket?
Can i make it bigger adding rows?
Yes, you can also make a longer starting chain to make it wide. You can do this using any multiple 😊
How many of each color do you use for this one? 🤗thanks
All the information you require can be found on the blog at blog.bellacococrochet.com :)

@bellacococrochet Thank you ❤️
Hi!! Quick question - why do we turn the work each time we’re changing colors?
It’s to keep your square straight; if you don’t turn it over it will begin to slant 😊
How many balls of yarn did you use
Hi 👋 I’ve tried to join one of your Facebook groups, but got declined & I don’t know why ? 😢 please help. I’ve followed you for some time & I’ve made the really chunky baby blanket as one of my first projects ❤
Hi you really do a Beautiful job I really mean that ok 😍 🤩 👍 👌
Please help im crying😭😭i was trying to make a blanket but it curved and is like forming a circle instead and now i don't know what to do with this, and how do i prevent this from happening
Maybe you forget the corners. Should be 3 dc, chain 2, 3 dc in the same stitch or something like that.
❤️💓❤️
Why is mine curling as I’m crochet more and more stitches?
It’s normal for crochet to curl up at first but you should find that it lays flat once you’ve worked several rows 😊
😘❤️👍😍🥰🧶👏👏👏
