I think my favorite thing about your classes is how calmly and gently you guide us into very challenging poses. I am a very anxious person and I love being pleasantly surprised at how challenging a class is while still feeling so grounding and calming. Me too!!! I need to do this quiet calm for anxiety and adhd to learn better how to be more patient as I inch towards 40 for my small small kids. I wouldn’t like feeling like someone’s looking at my crotch as I grab my ankles to go further into a wide leg fold. Or if I fell outta a side plank or standing balance idk if I’d be so quick to go back into the pose. I might just go haha WHERES my balance today??? I run out red

I love how much time you allow for Savasana plus time for an extra meditation! Other videos often only have 1 or 2 minutes for savasana and I always wish there was more time as it takes me a few minutes to get into relaxation. Thank you for the beautiful yoga session!

What an absolute joy! Practicing this on a rainy morning, and it was beautiful to see sun set in yours. I do often go for 20-30 minute practices - while equally useful, they’re slightly different, but often is what time allows. However, whenever I get the chance to do these longer ones, it feels like finally taking in a full breath. My favourite yoga teacher hands down, thank you for your guidance!

This class really helped me to get the experience of a full yoga class. Now I know that I need to practice longer classes to cultivate endurance. The flying lizard pose was new to me and challenging, do you have any advice on how to improve arm strength? Thank you for this full-body training, I like that you are not rushing through the poses, your gentle voice really helps to calm down and enjoy the flow despite the challenge.

I find working on Chaturanga to be very helpful for building upper body strength, slowing down the movement as you go through each vinyasa is a great way to add in an element of building strength within your practice.

I've practiced with your videos for one week. My flexibility has improved and I've been able to identify weak points inside my spine that I have managed to isolate and iron out. It kind of feels like a metaphysical baker's rolling pin kneading out the rough pieces of dough inside my body. Those points of weakness are still present but each day the pain becomes more and more bearable. I've got this feeling that if I continue this practice I will iron out all the wrinkles and gain complete control of the unified matter my consciousness inhabits. I've learnt that yoga is a metaphor. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and guidance.

My last studio class was in early 2020 before the Covid lockdowns and after building a consistent yoga practice at home, I admit, I have not even thought about going back to a studio. But this class was a reminder of the discipline of longer practice that combines the many elements of yoga, including pranayama, intention and meditation aside from the asana. It's always enjoyable for me not to have to rush the class to fit it into 20 or 30 minutes and to have the time to include different aspects of the practice.
I was wondering how you would fit a full body flow into 60 mins but you accomplished it! Will totally be saving this video. With age, I had been avoiding inversions, especially full headstand lest I fell and fractured any bones but today you managed to guide me so well into the pose that i didn't feel much neck compression after.
Oh wow! I hardly know where to start, but the short version is all day today I have been feeling anxious about a situation in my life; to the point where I had this awful headache. When I came home all I wanted to do was zone out, and for about an hour I did, but that wasn't helping. Finally, I was like, I need to move my body...it just felt like I had too much energy that need to move out of my body. I put your class on and within the first 20 mins I was feeling better, by the twisty section, I was getting a little teary eyed, and by the end I felt much calmer and less anxious. Movement is so powerful! I had a lot of negative energy today and I needed this! I just want to say, thank you for this beautiful class, and the light that you shined in my darkness! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I've never been consistent at anything probably because I don't allow myself to find pleasure in the process but since I started yoga last month September 2024, something happened. I felt muscles that were dead asleep stretch and energy was flowing through my body. I became aware and thoughts ran through my mind less chaotically. Am a total beginner I can't do a chadaranga let alone a headstand but moving my body through yoga feels so good I want to stick with it. My body is literally craving it. I'll come to this comment in 3 years. Wish me luck Charlie and fam.❤
Oh this was a BIG challenge for my arms today but wow, I actually felt the first proper engagement that felt safe and secure during the headstand practice. I’m so so happy. I now feel like I’m finally starting to understand how it should feel. Thank you Charlie ❤

It's always enjoyable for me not to have to rush the class to fit it into 20 or 30 minutes and to have the time to include different aspects of the practice.

I was wondering how you would fit a full body flow into 60 mins but you accomplished it! Will totally be saving this video. With age, I had been avoiding inversions, especially full headstand lest I fell and fractured any bones but today you managed to guide me so well into the pose that i didn't feel much neck compression after.

Oh wow! I hardly know where to start, but the short version is all day today I have been feeling anxious about a situation in my life; to the point where I had this awful headache. When I came home all I wanted to do was zone out, and for about an hour I did, but that wasn't helping. Finally, I was like, I need to move my body...it just felt like I had too much energy that need to move out of my body. I put your class on and within the first 20 mins I was feeling better, by the twisty section, I was getting a little teary eyed, and by the end I felt much calmer and less anxious. Movement is so powerful! I had a lot of negative energy today and I needed this! I just want to say, thank you for this beautiful class, and the light that you shined in my darkness! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

I've never been consistent at anything probably because I don't allow myself to find pleasure in the process but since I started yoga last month September 2024, something happened. I felt muscles that were dead asleep stretch and energy was flowing through my body. I became aware and thoughts ran through my mind less chaotically. Am a total beginner I can't do a chadaranga let alone a headstand but moving my body through yoga feels so good I want to stick with it. My body is literally craving it.
I'll come to this comment in 3 years. Wish me luck Charlie and fam.❤
