I try to enjoy them and not stress too much about how much he slows me down I’m sure before too long I will be the one that can’t keep up with him haha. I’ve loved making some of these videos knowing that one day I’ll be able to look back and see how small he was.
Good to see Ellis riding shotgun with you lol he can take a nap anytime anywhere, I can remember doing the same with my father he passed way to soon but he left lasting impressions LoL. That Randall hay appears to have good color to it. My daughter had a show cow calve almost nine days early, we've had a lot of rain and clouds for a good stretch and she calved in the mud on a side hill and that calf rolled or slid half way down it. My daughter said sometimes cows drive her insane. Getting that heifer calf back up to the spot they had ready for her was a job in itself, I told her she was lucky it was a Jersey calf. The cow went down with milk fever even after bovikalc treatments the vet got right after it and she's up and on the mend. Looks like you've had some strong sun days that's a good thing. Good to see no Elk damage either. Great video awesome sun background shots. Take care and stay safe
Thanks! It was fun to have Ellis tag along. I’d have to agree with your daughter sometimes about how cows are a big pain sometimes. Seems like you guys had your work cut out for a stretch there. Hopefully everyone is doing good now. We got a bit more snow this weekend but next week looks really nice so hopefully that will start to get the snow leaving a bit quicker. Glad to hear from you!
Excellent video ! 🗽 Well presented and nicely edited, so many thanks for your efforts in that. Know exactly how Ellis feels, with sitting on Dads' lap driving, steering around on the property. Nothing like it. I fold my tarps the same, except the f8nal wrap , i fold into the centre. Anyway, looking forward to more. Daylight saving over for us this weekend 🌋
That’s a good thought folding into the center then you could probably just throw the tarp in the center of your hay stack and fold both ways out from there. I didn’t realize you guys did daylight savings down under also! Not my favorite thing, I wish they would do away with it and just leave it the way it is now with more light in the afternoon. Hope you have a great week and thanks for the comment!
Ford guy but loved old Chevy still doing good work. Pulled a calf out of liquid mud yesterday immediately thought of you. I am confident given time your helper will come around .
Ellis just melts my heart every time. The camera fell and I was thinking "Oh that's a dizzying effect, I didn't think he used those though - oh, no, the camera actually fell."
Don’t let him fool you haha. Just kidding he is a really good kid. It’s been fun as he’s gotten older to take him around with me more doing our farm work.
1st comment , & good morning cool picture feeding with the sun shining through , u don't see too many pickups with gun racks in them lol , we use to go to school with guns in ours when I was a kid. These days the atf would be called lol
Glad you made it back to your top spot! I liked that camera shot also. The trucks with gun racks have gotten fewer and farther between that’s for sure. Star Valley seems to be 10-20 years behind modern society haha so I remember when I was in High School I remember it being a huge deal when they told everyone we could no longer have gun racks or guns in our vehicles. I graduated in the late 2000’s. Hope you are doing great!
Man, I don't know if I will make it to Star Valley this year. My heart wants to, but time is limited. I will be exploring the Snowy Range in WY this June and then off to the Black Hills for the first time. Thanks for all the great videos, B.
Both of those places will be great places to explore. The black hills are very nice and since you’ll be in that area Devils Tower and Mount Rushmore are worth the visits if they aren’t already on your list.
@LuthiRanchWY but what I am talking about is the little one decides he need to go feed ha ha I know I got the ole m farmall started n was driving around while the adults where fishing we all lived to laugh at it but it was hard to sit down for a day or too n I know u where a Good boy too
Haha I understand now! It is only a matter of time before he starts starting things on his own. We will have to be careful and keep an eye on him once he does.
@LuthiRanchWY c I knew u would finally figure it out remember the old chevy starts in gear n through the wall she goes I know bad texas viewer good night my friend only 75-80 here tomorrow
It seems like he always falls asleep on the tractor. I’m not sure if it’s the engine noise or what but being on the tractor or plowing snow in the pick up knocks him out haha. Hopefully these will be good memories for him.
I hope so too! We still have about a foot of snow up here. Things are supposed to get pretty nice towards the end of this week though. Hope you are going good!
Great job helping your Dad Ellis
He was good help that day
Cherish those days with your son, I miss working with my dad on the farm and I'm 48. He's still around but not as mobile anymore.

Sure will be nice when all that snow is gone.
Great video Bryan
Thank you!
“Hard to find good help these days” 😅 Bryan with the dad joke!
Haha about the only jokes I have.
Delightful to see your little son helping dad it's every child's dream to work with tractors and other big machinery. 🙂
I hope they are good memories for him!

Looks like the Elk didn't cause any problems this winter 👍
We got lucky and didn’t even see any sign of them
Your lad is a chip off the old block. Still in the icey grip of winter🥶 Better days ahead for sure.🌞
Still plenty of snow up here that’s for sure! It was fun having him tag along.
Good old Blazer ❤

Haha he’s going to lose his job if I keep finding him napping. That old truck has done a lot of work in her day. Hopefully your calf is doing alright?
@@LuthiRanchWY calf is good just needed a little warmer time and a bit of cleaning
Chevy thunder 😂😂
Haha can’t go too fast in her but she’s hauled a lot of hay for us
Ellis just melts my heart every time.
The camera fell and I was thinking "Oh that's a dizzying effect, I didn't think he used those though - oh, no, the camera actually fell."
Haha I thought it was worth keeping in the video and not editing it out. Sounds like I need to have Ellis in more videos, he’s been a big hit haha.
He's so sweet 😄
Don’t let him fool you haha. Just kidding he is a really good kid. It’s been fun as he’s gotten older to take him around with me more doing our farm work.

Very faster than you thinking. 👍🏻

@@toddcaskey9984 ‘89 for me and I still had a gun rack in my pickup but it was a rural school. Only 10 in my class.
Good Morning,
It is awesome to see you involve your son in the ranching life. A ranchers life is hard and you are showing him the right way.🤠
It can be tough at times and make you question if it’s worth it. But it is a great life.
Thanks Bryan, for bringing Ellis along! Just kidding, I enjoyed your work too!
Haha I’m sure he makes the videos more entertaining.
💪🏼💪🏼 nice vid......hang in there weather should be breaking soon.
This week has been really nice. I have to ask, am I related to you? My mom was a Walker?
It takes a special man to
Do the work you do.
Amazing thanks for
Letting me watch
Creative camera work
Be safe again thanks.
Thanks for the encouraging comment! I sure appreciate them. I feel lucky to be able to do what I do!
Great video my man. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Thanks! Family is doing great thanks for asking. Hope you and your family are doing well also
Great video, story, content, camera angles, everything.
Hope it’s getting a bit easier on you now that some of this snow is starting to melt off.
Thank you! It’s always exciting to see the snow start to leave this time of year!

Mouse darting for safety at @9:09? A tiny Elk? ; )
Haha I noticed that too when I was editing the video!
Great job glad the ole 454 still goes around n just think soon we will have a video of the missing tractor
Started rounding up parts for the tractor so hopefully we get it going sooner than later

Apparently steering takes a lot out of a boy. Time spent with dad is a precious resource that's not appreciated until much later....

Dogs supervising.
Haha always
Anyone see the rat run when he was putting the ladder up? 😂
Haha I didn’t notice it either until I was editing this video.
Your boy! #1
He’s a good hand!
Nice squarebody is that about a 1980 model?
Yes I believe so. We have a couple around here around the same age and they are all between 79-81 and I can’t remember which one is which sometimes.
Seat belts???
Spring is coming I hope
