Bryan are you busy or what...LOL!! I like your #1 ranch hand, great helper!! I like the flow of your new setup! You scored with the Aeroquip chute, I wish I would have done business with them too! I know Tyler's chute is an upgrade and I'm sure you will see the benefit also! Awesome to see you keeping that lil guy busy!! Good to see the ground drying up!!
So amazed. You scored w that new chute. Congratulations! So precious your little Ellis working along side of you. U were able to redesign ur working pens in 2 days. Wow! Beautiful spring day. Thank you Bryan
I feel too busy most of the time haha. I feel like I have a hard time balancing work and family time. It’s nice to bring Ellis with me and involve the family with me when I can. I’m glad it’s getting drier also!
Little man is such good help! Awesome that you picked up an Arrowquip with such light use at a good price. That old wooden chute held up impressively well!
You're such a a fantastic Dad. Little Man is learning very valuable skills from you. Thank you for your patience. Also, I believe you will really like your new shoot.
I've told all the wife's family about the channel. Hope they're watching. I Google earthen your place and saw that you're just north of the old family farm. For some of your new viewers, you may want to explain Idaho/ Wyoming sides. You're doing a great job.
That is a nice ‘new’ chute. Rotating that tub seems like a nice simple upgrade. Have you thought about putting some solid backing on the tub or netting? Some people think it’s helps soothe cows and keep them a bit more mellow from not seeing all the distractions around.
It’s funny you mention that because I did take some old silage bags and hung them from the alley way so the cows couldn’t see us working up at the chute and that seemed to Make a lot of difference.
Those old wood chutes😀. On one of my relative's farms they have one from the early 20th century which is just a fenced dirt hill that a truck would back into. That old relic is abandoned but was practical and simple for their time. That is a tight entry from the round pen into the lane.
Bryan you will find that arrow quip squeeze a great addition to your handling system. We own portable tub alley and squeeze 74 series. That unit will squeeze down to 5 inches to work calves. Nice investment 👍🏻👍🏻. Have a great week. Scott central Alberta Canada
Hey Bryan we're still getting caught up. That shute looks like it'll work fine but I'm like you and I like to try something out a few times to see if I need to change or adjust something to make it even better. Stay safe
I can understand your Vet wanting to use his own shoot... but, can't you keep your new shoot in place and wide open, so the cows can easily go through your new shoot into the Vet's? 💖🌞🌵😷
I have thought about that also. The problem is with our chute still there there isn’t enough room between our chute and the fence to get the vets chute backed in there.

Thanks for the video! Ellis’ personality and talking are changing every time he’s on. So cute!
He is getting to be quite the character.
Farm Fence/ barbwire any type of fence never get tired of it. Nobody bugging me all alone with peace and quiet😀 👍
I do enjoy that part of it also. The amount of fence can be overwhelming sometimes though.

That would be an interesting topic to talk about. We are just north of the Tincup corner. Thanks for sharing the channel!

Good to hear from you Scott! We used it a few time now and have been very happy with it. Definitely an upgrade from what we had before.

Do You ever carry a good strong magnet to walk down each side of a fence to check for stray staples or t-post clips after fixing a fence?
I’ve never brought a magnet with me. I try pick up the staples that have popped out and reuse them if I can.
Out ridin' fences for so long now ... 😀
There is always fences and corrals to be fixed. That is what keeps us out of trouble
Haha that’s for sure, it seems to be never ending sometimes.

Say, do you pay taxes in two states?
I don’t, I am a Wyoming resident. Luckily Wyoming doesn’t have a state income tax.
