HORRIFYING! What happened to the Hippocratic Oath... to "do no harm?" You should watch some of Dr. Jerry Tennant’s videos here on UA-cam. One is called "Recharge Your Battery & Heal." He says the same thing you do: that Drs. often do not give out the BEST advice, but what the healthcare industry has deemed to be the standard of care (even if they know it’s ineffective, & better treatment is available). I already suspected this to be true, based upon life experiences, but to hear a Dr. admit this was eye-opening.

Don't quit at 30 days. For my daughter it was closer to 90 days before symptoms started to go away, including a chronic migraine, chronic fatigue, fast heartbeat, nausea, dizziness, chronic pains, brain fog, and breathing problems. 7 western doctors couldn't help her. She stayed in bed, struggled to go to 5th grade for 1 or 2 hours, had a 504 plan that she could come in late, wear ear plugs, sunglasses, sit in a beanbag chair, have extra time. We updated the plan to say "no gluten" to the surprise of nurses who said "your daughter doesn't like school and you like staying home with her" and "you didn't give your sick daughter her medication!" And a neurologist laughed at me when I said "could wheat be causing this?" The doctor's called it "POTS Syndrome" which is incurable and "managed" with drugs and steroids. Weird thing when I tried to give her the drugs my hand kept pulling away because it didn't feel right. I gave it, remembering that school nurse yelling at me and she ended up in emergency with breathing issues. The drug was likely a random guess

Your poor daughter! What a great mom she has to be able to rethink what traditional doctors say and look outside the box! I have been struggling for the past 2 years with these same issues, I thought I was dying. I’m now on a elimination diet and have hope for the first time. I hope your daughter is doing well!!!!

Thank you for this information, suffering from IBS all my life, I came across this. now I know what is wrong. I gave up bread and that helped. and have been eliminating different foods, I never thought that oats could be effecting me. But i still had the symptoms. so I will now give up oats and milk. and get some bone broth. I already gave up sugar but still had the bloating and brain fog. and still wasn't losing weight. This video was very informative. Thank you

I know this vid. is about food that cause Leaky Gut, but there is one biggie that should be mentioned as a prime cause of leaky gut, and that is Candida overgrowth. When it gets into the intestine it turns into its Fungal Form, develops roots/hyphae that bore holes in the intestine that food particle can pass thru. The immune system response is as he described - the head fog etc. This may include ringing in the ears, actually ringing, roaring, humming, & sometimes buzzing. The eyes are difficult to focus, you may be dizzy. The healing from Candida is more than eating the right food, because you may be allergic to them. I looked for a vid. by Dr. Kan on Candida & didn't find one, but then neither did I find his other 58 videos.

Carnivore diet for 90 days which is the ultimate elimination diet. Then slowly introduce only fermented plant based foods (e.g. sauerkraut, sourdough bread) or sprouted foods (e.g. sprouted sunflower seeds) one by one and see how you feel.

The only thing I haven’t done yet is the fermented foods. But since I cut out all of the ‘bad’ foods, and started eating the foods on the ‘healing list, my eczema is now 95% gone! Basically, it is a Keto diet. It’s been mainly upping my intake of the healthy fats that has made all the difference in my eczema. I tried going grain/gluten free in the past, but it didn’t change my eczema at all. But when I started eating more good fats, that’s when I started healing.
I recently found out that taking L-lysine 1000 mg. 2 times a day, made my acne go totally away too! Whoo hoo! I’m on a roll!

So ecstatic to hear this is also a Auto immune disease. Brain fog and inability to concentrate is my main daily struggle daily. I was vegetarian with no improvement , turn to vegan , no improvement. My problem now is can I eat daily grass fed meat- I am constantly hungry, sweet potatoes and pumpkin do not made me feel full. Previously rely on lentils. Last and most important question, is there hope to turn Aplastic around , most information on internet give a very bad prognoses-mostly classify that I am a worst case and ignore, death will follow soon. I want to get ofF Cyclosporin really really. Thanks Gerda

I recently quit my job as a cross country truck driver for 2 years. While on the road, I would eat nothing but the trashiest of foods and I LOVED getting italian herbs&cheese footlong from Subways. I would always immediately get bloated after eating. However, I would bring the bloating down with nearly chugging an entire gallon of distilled water. But I developed this rash on my left arm that's been there for a couple of months now. I thought it was a normal fungal infection that i would easily kill with apple cider vinegar like I did with a dozen others. But this particular one doesn't budge with anything I throw at it: Apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, tea tree oil, not even peroxide! I'm guessing at this point it's a rash caused by leaky gut .. so not an external fungal infection.
Does distilled water help with leaky gut?

Thank You Dr. Kan, for posting these videos which are so informative. I'm hoping you'd tell me- what is the proper dose of powdered kelp per day? I've been taking a 5 gram scoop per day. A very knowledgeable health professional once told me, 'kelp is the worst thing for your thyroid"- however, I've not seen anything on pubmed or elsewhere that would back this up. I understand it's a good mineral supplement, as well as a source of iodine. Thanks big fan- Norman Spurgeon

Thank you for these comments, Dr Kan. I admit that I am scrambling for ideas. I do have what I believe to be leaky gut, and it is very confusing to deal with.

Robyn, firstly, you are not an old person. Secondly, no mater the age, the body’s natural state is one of health. Give it what it needs, sleep, hydration, quality whole foods, get some sunshine and watch how you feel AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

UA-camUser, with age comes wisdom. I will take tangle with you any day of the week. Bring it on. You see, you are an inconsiderate spoiled pr-ck. But let’s stop the name calling and debate issues, if you are able?

Chickens DO eat grass....all the time. It's a common fallacy that chickens don't eat grass but I have watched them actively grazing grasses and legumes for 40 yrs now. They have ceca that help them digest the grass.

Notice how no one in the comment section has actually tried this and succeeded. Go to the comment sections of videos about the carnivore diet and gut issues + the same symptoms he described and see what real people actually experienced.

Thank you so much... You're really helping so many people like me. I
have a question, I am suffering from Nail Psoriasis and I am on 7.5mg
weekly injection at the same time I am taking supplements (L-Glutamine,
Collagen Powder, Slippery Elm Powder, Digestive Enzymes, HCL betain,
Keir, Probiotics etc.) on a daily basis to heal my gut issues. Are there
any interaction between Methotrexate and these above supplements? In
addition, Methotrexate is a very hard medicine with many side effects
and conventional doctors will never give any proper advise.

Dr. Kan, whats the blood test for Leaky gut. Is there literature on this test. I find many practitioners have anecdotal remedies with regard to syndromes. Could you
explain what degree a Chiropractic Neurologist has because it's not recognized by the Medical Assoc. You're describing so many symptoms that are common with many
ailments other than leaky gut. I enjoyed the presentation and it has sparked my interest. Thank you.
