Winger was such a great hair band. "Miles Away", "Seventeen", "Can't get enough", and "Headed for a heartbreak", "Hungry" and "Easy comr, easy go". All fire! 🔥
Headed for a Heartbreak is 🔥🔥🔥
Great live also! Him and Tom Kiefer were great! Going to see Winger again in October! Bunch of great guys
Like two of his new songs also
-#cheers-- !-
They had a lot of hits. Didn’t really think about it until seeing all those
Seventeen is cringe. The rest are great.
Their first big hit was "Madalaine". Great song. Also, "Easy Come, Easy Go" is awesome as well.
Great video also
YES !!!!!!!!!!!! "Madalaine" !
Absolutely do Madalaine as your first up tempo Winger tune. Or go modern: They just released a brand new album a couple months ago. Do the song Voodoo Fire.
ua-cam.com/video/DQS66E3WpNI/v-deo.html&ab_channel=degutony Fiona - Everything You Do (duet with Kip Winger) (HQ)
Madalaine is amazing, first of their songs that captured me
This was their biggest hit, it hit #12 on billboard in 1990. "Seventeen" "Can't Get Enough" "East Come, Easy Go" " Hungry" "Madalaine" " Heading for a Heartbreak" are all ones to check out.
I’ve been waiting to see Winger 🙏 shame it got blocked but worth it. “Headed For a Heartbreak” is another epic ballad. “Madalaine” is great and rockin then there’s the awesome but infamous “Seventeen”. Great band that got undeserved hate. The real musicians know how good they are
Headed for a Heartbreak 🔥
@@user-or1ye3iz6d YES!
"Headed For A Heartbreak" by Winger was one of my favorite songs of the 80's! Makes me feel high when I'm not. The guitar leads are absolutely killer!
Headed for a Heartbreak is still my favorite song ever ❤
@@kalichristian7739 I love it and still listen to it often!
Winger "HEADED FOR A HEARTBREAK" is the best!
Yes! Been waiting for Winger!
Winger was so underrated. “Can’t Get Enough” from the same album was one of their best. They are an 80s band, their first album dropping in 1987. Still going strong, saw them at the House of Blues recently in Dallas.
Loved the video for Can't Get Enough. One of the sexiest videos I ever seen.
That first album came out in 1988, and it was a platinum seller that produced numerous hit singles. So "underrated" is hardly the word I'd use.
Winger "Headed for a Heartbreak" 🙏🙏🙏
A lot of people made fun of this band because the lead singer used his last name for the band name . What a lot of people forget about is the fact that the lead singer Kip Winger , the lead gutairest Reb Beach & the drummer all played for Alice Cooper & you have to be musical inclined to play with Alice Cooper . You should check out Winger's songs Seventeen , Can't Get Enough , Easy Come Easy Go , Hungry , Time To Surrender & Who's The One . The lead singer Kip Winger also has a song that he did in the mid 2000's when they kinda broke up that you need to hear called How Far Will We Go .
Also most people don’t realize that Kip Winger is also trained in classical music
winger is a great band...great live....one of my favorite groups
I had a crush on Kip Winger. I’ve met him a few times and Winger’s catalog is 🔥 They mostly rock but have a couple ballads. Reb Beach is a great guitarist. His solo on “Seventeen” is amazing.
Nice ,Lisa ..He was up at the Rock n Roll fantasy camo a few years ago in Vegas. Roger Daltrey was there and it was showcased on a episode of Pawn Stars , where Rick Harrison sings My Generation ..Little while ago but Kip looked pretty.good .
You along with millions and millions of other females!!!
Kip was definitely a sex symbol back in the day!!
Reb beach is the guitarist. Very underrated
And Rob Morgestein on drums from Dixie Dreggs fame
One of my favorites from back then!
Criminally underrated, he's great.
@@cosmiccowboy7764 great band that I was fortunate enough to see a couple of times. Steve Morse is extremely underrated.
First saw them on Tom Snyder late night show play Cruise Control. Mind blowing. Then saw them live in 1984 in Tempe Az . Then saw Deep Purple in early 2000’s and Steve Morse on guitar. The man and all those band members know music🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼
Unfortunately, WInger arrived late to the 1980's rock show. As a result, their career was cut short by the advent of grunge in the early 1990's. A great, talented band with a lot of good songs. Seventeen is one of my all-time favorites.
They made more albums after this.
Saw them last year. Still sound great. And all original members are still in the band.
Hello, I seldom comment on UA-cam, but
compelled to tell you how much I enjoy your videos! I am a 67-year-old Caucasian grandma. I have health issues that prevent me from getting out and about very much. I have hours to fill with my days and appreciate your content. You bring some joy into my life, so thank you both very much. I would like to suggest a song I think you might enjoy. It's by John Denver. The song is Calypso. This is a song about Jaques Cousteau. He had a show about saving our oceans and the animals.
He was awesome and John wrote this song to honor his life, and his work. There is a Beautiful video that goes with this song that is phenomenal. You will not be disappointed. Sincerely, your friend, Pamela
Winger was big for awhile, great sound. Madelaine is a good upbeat, rocking one to try. Kip Winger played for Alice Cooper for a long time and is a very accomplished musician..he does some classical composing now, I believe. He was also a ballet dancer before becoming a rocker!
Headed for a heartbreak is one of Wingers best songs
I'm still in love with Kip Winger ❤❤❤
I met him over the summer, and boy does he sure know how to make a gal feel good! Lol winger also sang happy birthday to my son Jake, he had just turned. 17 that very day, and they went nuts over that bc of their song, and loved that I brought him
This is one of the best power ballads of the 80s, which just happened to not be released until the 90s. 😁 Amber predicted it right--Winger was a hair metal band that came up in the 80s. Amber is also right that they're really a hard rock band. More!
i thought the 90's was grunge wiping out the hair bands but winger had most of their hits in the 90's. delayed release explains it. 😄
Kip Winger, who is the lead singer, started off in the mid 80's as a member of Alice Cooper's band, contributing bass and vocals to his Constrictor (1986) and Raise Your Fist and Yell (1987) albums, and those tours that followed. I liked the songs, "Headed For A Heartbreak" and "Seventeen". This was sort of my first time hearing this song too because in the 90's grunge music came in, and replaced the big hair bands at that time.
Need to do “EasyCome,Easy Go” or “Can’t Get Enough”. Both rocking. I just saw them in concert a few months ago and they still sound great.
Headed for a Heartbreak is a phenomenal song
Headed for a Heartbreak is my favorite song ever 🔥🔥🔥
@@kellyjenner5430 Me 2 (Favorite Winger song at least)
Probably their best known song 🎵
Kip Winger(lead singer) is a really cool dude! He does a lot of smaller venues these days(just himself) and when he does this song, he always allows a local to get up on stage with him and sing a duet to this. Several years ago, a young lady(can't remember her name) who was really good, got noticed and ended up with a record deal.
I love the solo. Winger is so underrated.
Some Winger suggestions "Seventeen" "Headed for a Heartbreak" "Cant get enough" "Madalaine" Winger was one of the last hair metal bands to come out of the '80's. The lead singer Kip Winger played bass guitar for Alice Cooper in the early to mid 80's
Don't forget hungry, all I ever wanted and only love, also check out the giant with songs like innocent days, I'm a believer, I'll see you in my dreams, my favorite ballad of theirs now until forever I want to play my wedding someday or at least a friend's wedding.
Headed for a Heartbreak ❤️
@@SCORPION89199 I didnt want to overload them with suggestions. They may never react to some of them
“Easy Come, Easy Go” is a great rocker from them
Winger was one of the late 80s bands that carried over into the 90s.
They are on tour and have a new video out =)
I saw them twice. They opened for Cinderella in 1989 and headlined in either 90 or maybe early ‘91. Extreme opened up for them. It was a double dose of ass kicking rock!
Saw them when they opened for Warrant along with Slaughter. Kip Winger was a very talented songwriter. He was previously in the Alice Cooper band. He said Alice was very supportive of him going out on his own.
Alice was indeed. Alice always says that he wants the people who play with him to have success in their own right as well.
Winger is a band of studio musicians who decided to form their own band named after the bassist/vocalist Kip Winger. This is from their second cd that came out in 1990. I've had the pleasure of meeting the band several times over the years after their shows and they are they are the nicest guys! You'll have to check out songs from their debut cd that came out in 1988. I highly recommend "Madalaine" and "Headed for a Heartbreak." So glad y'all finally reacted to Winger!!
Winger’s “Headed for a Heartbreak” was played on the Arsenio Hall show. It checks off everything you want in a song. From a power ballad, to great instrumental, to a long great guitar solo. Their guitarist Reb Beach is considered a very good guitarist, just below elite status.
They hit late 80's and they can rock too! I love this song and these guys are such great musicians !
They rock, just a couple ballads. Great band!
Awesome band! VERY talented guitarist. Great live performances.
I went on deployment with my battalion and I told my wife to play this song when she needed comfort. She didn't like us being miles away but she what I had signed up for. Once in awhile I'll play this song on my stereo and she automatically tears up. I said to her I'm home now and I'm not going anywhere. I promised her ill return and I did. This song has a grab but kip did a good job.
Kip Winger is incredibly talented. Easy Come/Easy Go would be a great rock choice.
And gorgeous too
In my humble opinion a very underated band, they have some bangers when you're ready to revisit..
Headed for a Heartache
Madeleine
Easy Come Easy Go
Seventeen, Can't Get Enuff..
You need to revisit Warrant again , Down Boys is a banger
In the late 80's there was another band Like Winger that was very underrated. Danger Danger was the band and they rocked ! Naughty naughty is one of my favorite songs from them!
Been asking for Danger Danger... Bang Bang and Styper along with Britney Fox ... Girl School
Reb Beach was way above his contemporaries in guitar playing talent.
🎸
Underrated as hell. He always seemed to play the perfect solos.
HUNGRY from Winger's debut album is a great song😊😊
OH MY....Kip Winger... and he sings beautifully too! My favorite is Down Incognito!
"Without the Night" is one otheir power ballads from their fistt album. The new Winger album, has taken an extremely darker turn, however Reb Beach still plays incredredibly powerful and recognizable solos on their new album.
Winger was the butt of a lot of jokes back in the day, egged on by Beavis and Butthead and a Metallica video where they threw darts at Kip Winger's face. The band is very talented and Kip Winger (bassist, lead vocals) has actually composed the music for ballet productions and also theatre. Though this was their biggest hit (I think), I would say "Seventeen" is their most well-known song.
Winger's brand new record is fire. Maybe their best yet. Kip's voice just gets better with age. Unreal.
Check out a later one from Winger, “Down Incognito”!! 🔥🔥🔥 It’s grittier, truly early-mid 90s. But the groove is sick!
One of the most underrated bands of the 80s!! About time you did some Winger!! So many great songs! Seventeen is a killer track! And Jay these guys totally rock!!
"Underrated"? This is a platinum-selling act we're talking about here 😀
Yes, so underrated!
Wives & Girlfriends dedicated this song to their Husbands & Boyfriends who were fighting in the Iraq War at the time on radio stations all across America! 😎🔥🤘🎸
"Headed for a Heartbreak" has to be your next Winger reaction!!!
Miles Away great power ballad and there were many in the 80's.
I am so glad you've found Winger! So many good songs!
My favorite is "Blind Revolution Mad"
Music trivia: Winger was discovered by 80s music legend Fiona. (Fiona Flannagan). She and Kip Winger did a duet on one of her albums called "You're Sexing Me."
Winger was basically an 80s hair band that happen to release an album in 1990. Kip Winger and Reb Beach could definately rock! You guys also need to check out McCauley Shenker Group's (MSG) "Anytime" released around the same time.
Absolutely love this song and band. Thank you J and Amber
"Headed For A Heartbreak" is sort of a ballad, but unique to them. It has some excellent guitar work, especially the longer studio version. The video is shortened.
Oh yeah, and HUNGRY is classic 80s rock. And yes, Kip Winger is a classical composer who was nominated for a grammy for his classical album! Wow!
You have to listen to Madelaine. That was their first big hit and it ROCKS! They're all amazing musicians who have extensive careers beyond Winger. Definitely explore more of their stuff, like Seventeen, Can't Get Enough, and Blind Revolution Mad, etc. You will be blown away.
Kip Winger did a great duet with Fiona called Everything You Do. Fiona was great in her own right too. Y’all need to react to her song Talk To Me.
Winger took a lot of crap back in the day. They were really great live, very entertaining. There are a lot of great Winger songs you can review. Kip Winger is a very talented singer/songwriter. He's now composing classical pieces.
He actually received a 2017 Grammy nomination for best contemporary classical composition. Not bad for a guy that started in a "Hair Band". Certainly a far more talented musician than people gave him credit for back in the day.
A sample of a Winger concert in the 80s. ua-cam.com/video/Xn7rSQCHoKc/v-deo.htmlsi=k526GlsZwfOru097. Still going strong in 2023!
Headed For A Heartbreak is my favorite Winger song. ❤
Madaleine, Seventeen, Easy Come Easy Go, Can't Get Enough...... All great rock songs!! You guys are awesome by the way!!
You want Rock? "Can't get enough", "Seventeen"
Winger was a staple of late 80's early 90's Arena Rock. Kip Winger was a great bassist and vocalist. Oh their first power Ballad...."Headed for a Heartbreak"
Wow, this was a good throwback. I hadn't thought about this song in a long time.
I recommend "Easy Come, Easy Go" as their next song.
Can we please see your guys' reaction to Jeff Buckley? "Lover, You Should've Come Over", "Last Goodbye", and his rendition of "Hallelujah" is straight fire.
17 is where it’s at with this group.
Kip winger and the boys great hair band of the late 80's Headed for a heartbreak and 17 are my faves of their catalog
I saw them live 1990 in Hamburg, Germany when they did the Opening Act for The Scorpions. They rocked.
Winger rocks. Listen to can't get enough, easy come easy go,headed for a heartbreak, rainbow in the rose, deal with the devil, down incognito,in my veins, seventeen, who's the one and spell I'm under.
Great reaction to a very underrated band. The musicianship in Winger is top notch. Miles Away is from the lighter side of Winger but still a great song. If you want to hear some high octane Winger there are two that come to mind right away…try listening to Junkyard Dog or Without Warning.
Also worth noting, I’ve seen reactions to their NEW album that haven’t been blocked. One of their newest “It All Comes Back Around” is EPIC with an incredible guitar solo at the end
Their new album is brilliant. One of the highlights of 2023 so far. They still got it, make no mistake.
You have to check out Winger - Can’t Get Enough ( Official Music Video) fire 🔥. It’s a rocker ! But a great rocker to introduce you two to , is Can’t Get Enough!
Headed for a Heartbreak is their first big hit ballad in 1988.
Nice reaction to Miles Away by Winger! I recommend that you check out Heading for a Heartbreak next. Although it's another power ballad, the musicianship by all four band members is incredible! Especially the guitar solo by Reb Beach. Check it out! :)
Love them! Thank you for doing my request!
Winger was brilliant band. You can react to Headed for a heartbreak and time to surrender as well. I have their CD in my collection ❤️
Easily the most talented of all the 80's hair bands. Best drummer in Rod Mogenstein and best guitar player in Reb Beach. Best singer as well in Kip Winger. Kip still sounds incredible today and band is as good as ever. Kip even writes classical music compositions. Talent off the charts.
It's about time!!!! I've been asking you guys to react to them for a while now. Please do "Easy Come, Easy Go", "Hungry" or "Can't Get Enough" next. These are all fire. After that check out "Spell I'm Under", "Headed For A Heartbreak", "Seventeen" and "Madalaine". This will get you started.
First band I ever saw live. They were at Great Adventure (local Six Flags park) and concert admission was free with park admission. Their big hit at the time was Seventeen, and I was that age at the time. I’ve seen better concerts since then, but you never forget your first.
Love some Winger
Kip Winger! 😍😍
The 70's-80's and early 90's were the Best Years for Music... You need to listen to "the Other Power Trio" from Canada...
TRIUMPH, Lay It On The Line...
You won't be disappointed...
You need to do Headed For A Heartbreak. If you want to hear a guitar cry then listen to this. Two guitar solos, one in the middle and the other to close out the song. Reb Beach is an awesome guitarist. You guys will love this.
Fell in love with Kip Winger back in the 80s and I gotta say...even with gray hair now...he's still HOT!! 😍🔥
When I think of Winger I immediately think of "Seventeen". Definitely the next one you guys will want to check out!
PLEEEEASE react to Winger "HEADED FOR A HEARTBREAK" (original video). 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Winger did produce so many great songs..all the ones mentioned in the comments! I just heard a song and thought to mention for recommending! On the days where y’all are feeling like a slow, smooth, soulful, rubbing-bellies-while dancing song…Anytime by Brain McKnight 🔥❤
You should also listen to Seventeen, Easy Come, Easy Go, Down Incognito, Heaven’s Falling, Broken Glass, Can’t Get Enough, Rainbow In The Rose, Loosen Up & Spell I’m Under. There are a number of their hits and singles but also some deeper tracks and a couple off the new album just released too, their first in over a decade. I’ve missed a few singles as they are mentioned elsewhere but these are my fave Winger tracks along with this song too….. Kip Winger’s voice is so beautiful and powerful both recorded and live too, he is also the bass player for the band. I saw them supporting Scorpions and solo too. Amazing live act for sure. Enjoy !! Just to complete the band, Reb Beech is on the guitars, Paul Taylor is keys and guitar too and Rod Morgenstein on Drums.
Love their song "she's only 17" you gotta give it a listen
( seventeen).
It was cringe
@@ericthomas917 The lyrics definitely!!! But so was motley Crue! The difference is winger , is a talented group of gifted 🎵🎶 musicians, where motley, is just a sleaze band, with no real talent. The lyrics to both , seventeen, and girls, girls, girls, are retarded! But winger can actually play and sing!
Kip Winger is an all-round brilliant musician. First and foremost a great bassist - in my native Sweden he got a reputation in the mid-80s as the bassist in Alice Cooper's band, performing on the "Friday the 13th 6" theme song "He's back (the man behind the mask)", which is actually Alice's second biggest hit ever in Sweden, behind "Poison". Kip has also had a prolific solo career and even composed a ballet (!). Keyboard player Paul Taylor was with him in Alice's band, so they left to form Winger (originally called Sahara) together. Guitarist Reb Beach has for many years been part of the legendary Whitesnake and also played with Dokken and Night Ranger. Drummer Rod Morgenstein has played with guitar legend Steve Morse (of Deep Purple and Kansas fame) in both the Dixie Dregs and the Steve Morse Band. All in all, an absolutely stupendous team of super musicians.
Winger - Seventeen
Warrant - The Down Boys
Kiss - Tears are Falling
Ratt - Lay it Down
All great 80s groups and songs 🎵
I met winger finally over the summer and they sang happy bday to my son Jake, these guys have always been incredible metal band of the 80s! Rod Morganstein is their drummer, and he's so good, that he was a professor at Berkley school of music in Boston for 20 yrs! Mr. Paul Tay,or who's been the keyboardist for many bands like Cinderella, Steve perry, and many any others, is the person who wrote this beautiful song for Kip to sing when his marriage was ending!
REB BEACH!!! Most underrated guitarist ever! His solos are like an extra verse of the song! Winger one of my all time favorites! Thank you! 😁💖
If you want to hear Winger rock, I'd recommend Madalaine or Seventeen. Hungry is a rocker too but leans heavily in the direction of being a power ballad, probably my favorite Winger song. The video for Hungry was very well done, quite memorable.
Definitely one of the best power ballads of the 90zzzz…🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽❤️❤️
Awesome band. All great musicians, Kip has some amazing solo/acoustic live stuff. Reb Beach one of the most under-rated guitarists. Without The Night is my fave song by them, for some reason never gets looked at. Still going strong ❤🤘
One of those hair bands from the later part of the 80s - early 99s. They were still part of the hair bands. I can tell the singer's name is Kip Winger.
Got to check out "CAN'T GET ENOUGH" - It's a rocker!! 🤘
Headed for a Heartbreak!! That outro solo is epic.
Seventeen had one of the coolest riffs. Heeding for a heartbreak also good. Reb Beach was an underrated guitar player.
Reb Beach is a Beast on the Guitar! Saw these guys in Concert in the late 80s. Slaughter, Winger and KISS in one Concert!
Still touring and kip winger still sounds great
Can’t believe you just did this! Top-notch!
