Yes, 2nd this. Norum is a beast. He has some solo material and also a member of Don Dokken’s band initially. I did like Kee Marcello’s playing as well, who replaced John in Europe. I'm glad you guys reacted to the '80s. This is good music, timeless music. We can still hear for years to come. You guys are so lovely. Keep us entertain with your reaction channel. ❤❤🎉🎉 Awesome.
My recommendation is their third most successful single "Rock The Night" (1986).. The song was released in two different versions, in 1985 as a single from the soundtrack to the Swedish film and in 1986 as the second international single from the album The Final Countdown. The original 1985 release has a rawer metallic hard rock sound than the more polished 1986 from The Final Countdown. The second version reached the top 10 in the charts. Other big hits are "Superstitious" and "Cherokee".
Cherokee is the next song yall should do. As a girl in growing up in the late 80's , we love power ballads. We lived for them from our favorite hairbands. Power ballads are amazing amd you get fantastic guitar solos in them

I listen to this song Carrie daily such chilling and great song the final countdown is another song by Europe I listen to a lot such catchy great songs from 1986
The next one you need to hear is Rock the Night. Such a great song!
I saw these guys open for Def Leppard in the summer of 88 at Cayuga County Fairgrounds. It was so hot, people were passing out and had to be handed over the wall by the stage. By the time I got to the front it started pouring and cooled it off so I got to watch a good part of the show right up front. Such a fun show.
I also saw them open for Def Leppard in 88 at Orange county Fair grounds and it was an amazing concert. They also had 38 Special there as well. I too was right in the front from the beginning. Though many tried, I would not let anyone take my spot, lol. I Couldn't get any closer. Joey Tempest face was just beautiful and flawless 😊What a great night!
Such an underrated band and song. This one is super nostalgic for me cuz it was one of the first songs I tried to learn on guitar in high school
Yes! I've been dying for you to get to this one. This song is such fire! 🔥
Europe have some amazing tracks! This being just one! Other faves Rock the Night, The Final Countdown and my favourite of theirs More Than Meets the Eye. A hard rocker and the guitar solo on that is incredible!! Jay you would love that one!
Great Reaction! I Love Europe! Keep the videos coming fam!👍❤
Joey Tempest was never kicked out! It was John Norum, the guitarist, that left of his own free will! Kee Marcello replaced him
Our rockers rocked hard, it was beautiful they could slow down too.
Other great Europe songs are "Rock The Night", "Cherokee", "Superstitious" and "Prisoners In Paradise". The band is still together touring and releasing new music. Songs from their newer era I would suggest "Last Look At Eden", "New Love In Town", "War Of Kings" and "Walk On Earth".
Hello my friends!! Beatiful voice the Joey Tempest Incredibel band Europe 80-90-2024 legendary OMG ❤💃🎼🎤👏👏
Definitely one of the best power ballads of the 80’zzzzz!!!! LOVE IT!!!! 🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽❤️🤘🏽❤️
Awesome SongWe Used To Slow Skate To Back In the day. This is and underated tune by an equally underated band.
Hy guys,i'm a Europe fan since 1986 when i was 6 and hear"The final countdown" by radio.Guys, you must hear the other ballad "Tomorrow" with only voice and piano.
If ever a song was made for lighters being held up and swaying back and forth in an arena, this was it. I sure loved this band back then! Definitely liked their harder stuff more, but of course we all were going to love the power ballads, too. I think they progressed nicely on their next album, Out of This World. You should check out "Superstitious," "Sign of the Times," and "Open Your Heart" from that one. The whole album was good, though.
🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎸
Yay!!! Us older kids in the back of the school bus use to blast these guys every morning 😆
As a Carrie, I loved this song when it came out 😊
I'm glad you guys reacted to the '80s.
Power ballads are amazing amd you get fantastic guitar solos in them
“Open your heart” is a great power ballad as well ,
Europe is my absolute favorite hair metal band. Probably my favorite song is rock the night. The first line is a SHOCKER.
I think the ending of this song is the best piece of music ever written.
Joey Tempest wrote almost all of their songs!!!
This is my first time hearing this song by them and I am an 80s child. Thank you for playing this video! Love them!
