My partner and I each have Osmo Action Cameras mounted on our E-bikes and the stuff we sometimes capture on our rides while on the cycling paths around Metro Vancouver is priceless. Keep up the great work as your video compilation are definitely eye-opening and relatable.
That spot on Willingdon near Hw1 is constantly like that because people are coming off of Still Creek Ave and wanting to go East on the highway. There's not a lot of time to merge across three lanes of traffic before you reach a backup so people make a run for the far left lane. Burnaby needs to fix it; especially with all the new towers they're putting up.

Heroin junkie from the DTES. I see people like that everywhere at my job. Half the time, they don't even know that they're falling asleep. I had a guy fall asleep while standing up, fall over, and then try to fight me for 'pushing him' even though I was at least three meters away. These people are real pieces of work.

4:43 definitely a problem. Almost 1 in 3 times the merging vehicle wouldn’t merge into its own lane. After a few close calls I always pick the left most lane to avoid it altogether, and change to middle lane when I am not going to hwy1.
This is the value from this channel. Seeing what dumb drivers usually do we change our own driving habit to avoid bad situations. Otherwise it takes time to figure out details such as in this one: the middle lane is better off no go.

Blowing through a stop sign can really ruin your life and others. I went on jury duty a few years back and the amount of 💰 we awarded to the victim was astonishing. It’s not a game people. Stop signs are there for a reason.
I’d rather take no money and have no crash 🤷♂️. I’ve been smashed at a red light from behind before. 7 years ago my back hasn’t been the same. If I had a choice healthy back, or 10 million dollars, I’ll take my health every time. I’ve actually over heard people say “oh I wish I could get in a big accident and get a big pay out and never work again”. WTFFFFFFF

5:01 is where I drive daily, and there are technically two lanes, and one additional HOV lane (right) for buses only or vehicles with more than 6 people. At the bend, there is a sign that allows you to TURN RIGHT ONLY into Still Creek Drive, however, stupid drivers use the HOV lane to bypass the traffic in the normal two lanes. Because there is a merge at the corner of Still Creek as shown, those people often miscalculate the timing of which cars will switch lanes into the HOV lane to bypass the traffic and create the chance of a collision as a result. That is a dangerous spot for people to merge because stupid drivers want to save two seconds of time being stuck in traffic.

Mini for sale! Mostly driven nicely (except for the example shown). A stern talking to straitened out the driver thankfully! As you can see the car handles great! Good tires! Cheap on gas and lots of airbags!

Was in Calgary last week for a family thing and was so much more comfortable driving there (a city I had never driven in before) than Vancouver where I've lived almost my whole life.
Calgary is not too bad. Worst I've driven in was in Seattle. I'd argue they are some of the worst drivers on the continent.
How come when Alberta drivers come to Winnipeg, they drive stupid?
That one at Willingdon is horrible. I think the issue is the HOV lane that is also the exit for the highway. People coming on have to cross over it, but the Willingdon traffic is also changing lanes there

I've never been to Vancouver so I'm curious what it's like for insurance. Do you get a discount if you have a dash-cam? I don't here in Alberta and didn't back in Ontario as well. It would make me so much happier and I'd buy a more expensive one.

Tips for everybody in lower mainland, when going straight thru intersections, if there s no left turn lane, while someone waiting to turn left in the lane beside you, stay under 50kph, because people opposite direction trying to turn left can get into your way at any time, and you can't even see them.
If you stay under 50 kph, you are more likely to avoid the accident. If the panamera in the video went slower, he could ve avoided the accident.
Of course the good news 6:07 is that this intersection has red light cameras and speed cameras, so the truck driver won't have heard the last of this ...

2:38 its because if you stop and look at it, it is the same as admitting fault. Its a weird loop-hole people use to get lesser hits from icbc at times. Get charged for damage and not a hit-n-run
I see problems at the willingdon exit, to me one thing is people signal to turn left and they are actually signaling for the exit not the left turn at Still Creek Ave. So when you are coming out you think people are turning left at still creek but they are actually signaling for the exit. Plus people want to get into the far left lane when they exit still creek Ave instead of just getting into the first lane and signaling they sit at Still creek which causes a long line up and people get annoyed and make mistakes. A few other things might be people using the HOV lane all the way from willingdon to the hwy exit when they shouldn't . 🤷🏽♀️ safety first people. To many people in a rush on the roads
today i was driving in new west and some guy was cutting traffic and he tried to merge back in but no one was letting him so he tried to force it and he just smacked right into the side of a semi truck and just acted like nothing happened lmfaooo i wish i had a dash cam

In poco behind the Walmart they have a divider but they put a must turn into the left lane sign in it but because of where the sign is the drivers can not see the people crossing the street from the warehouses I've been hit twice and literally have had to jump out of the way not kidding like 12 times I was told bye the city if it happens that much you should expect it then

7:55, not surprised to me. Their Trade is pay per job so the more work you took the more pay you receive and yes the travel time costs money too as it only counts when the work is done. So at some point, you will see the driver in this huge van drive like a racecar on the road.

Always check your medication before you drive. If it makes you drowsy, do not get behind the wheel. Also, don't take illegal drugs, drink or get stoned before you drive. If you're going to make a dumb decision, get on a bus

4 things that American drivers struggle with on a daily and I see it cause I drive all day. Running red lights. Running stop signs. Not knowing what it actually means to yield for traffic and thinking they have the right of way to turn left on an unprotected left turning light.
