That's a pretty slick setup! This should be a great solution for people that plan to keep the ECU in the stock location and don't need a ton of extra I/O. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

Glad to see a drop in PnP standalone ecu setup made for the JZ chassis. I myself own a 99 GS300 with a 2jzgte swap running 100% stock. Looking forward for the drop in PnP setup for the GS as well.

I've been running the Link on my 2001 for over a year and it has been great. Going to subscribe and check out your future mods. Go ahead and go 2JZ instead of 1JZ for the extra displacement!

I checked the link, this is neat but my thoughts are for a similar price you could go with Greddy or AEM, which far more Dyno shops are familiar with when it comes time to boost it. But I'm definitely interested in this!
Link is being well embraced by a lot of tuners. If you need to know a tuner in your area let me know and I can point you to a solid Link tuner.
Link is the only ecu with Canbus support to maintain ac and gauge functionality

hey i got the same ecu from xcessive , i got it all connected but im running bigger injectors 780cc the link software is throwing two error codes , its kinda hard getting ahold of the guys at xcessive,, how do i get ahold of mark i need some assistance

No Manual option was available in 2001 Automatic transmission only.
@@mudamalik I’ve read the 01 is lighter. insulation is different and the 01 has more angle. The brake brackets were different and seemed smaller. The harness is different. I wonder what else.

You can get different stages of tunes from them. They did this for my 1JZGTE swap. Set it up for my 530cc SARD injectors, AEM 340 fuel pump as well. Then got rid of limp mode since I have a straight pipe exhaust which got rid of my overboost issue with my upgraded CT15B with Garret 60-1 internals. I had to pay more for the stage 3 tuning but I am getting just over 400hp on my last Dyno session. Worth every penny of the $10k I paid for the car, parts and tune after I did the motor swap.

Hi, im doing Drift Week 3 and have been planning the 1jzvvti link ecu swap. there is supposed to be a newer version as thats why they went out of stock, but i able to get the ECU you have in this video form a friend , but ill still need a wiring harness and Panic Wiring isnt making any more. Thanx if you answer this. lol either way ill figure it out.

So speedo is no longer working after ecu swap?what about the temp gauge and engine lights?
everything works as it should. speedo, temp gauge, and no check engine light unless you have a fault.

ECUmaster can wire parallel and even has a plug and play adapter, I have one for my GS300 with a 2jzgtevvti.

EVO Jumpman seems like a 2j with an ebay turbo kit is the way to go

you can get it tuned at any shop on a dyno, or even at the track, as long as you have access to a laptop! You can ALSO remote tune with someone who is knowledgeable with remote tuning. My tuner tuned this car on a roller dyno in person.

Why did you buy this ecu if all youre going to do is 1J swap?
It works for both engine 1j and 2j nothing really has to change.
it pays for itself instead having to chop up the harness for the 1jz swap instead you buy this standalone ecu and when doing the swap the electrical side is plug and play

New IS300 is slow... even tuned... chassis outdated... poor lateral g's and braking... not worth it :/ If you're a spirited driver... you want a car that can do 4's 0 - 60 and 12's in the quarter right off the bat... then tune it or you'll be wagging your tail on the streets losing a majority of races... if you don't mind being humiliated all the time... then that's fine... purely subjective LOL! Better cars to get.. Civid Type R (yeah not a 4's car stock).. but incredible performance (mountain twists can take on some fancy street bikes...) on the track and with a simple tune and couple bolt-ons can reach ~400whp no problem. Mustang GT 10A 2018+ ... car is a monster... with a tune E85 and some bolt-ons running 11.7s... BMW m240i ... :D $$$ but... Kia Stinger GT .. hard to beat this car E85 tune nets +130HP... who cares about what it costs... why buy something that's mediocre and your stuck racing in the Forte GT crowd all the time :/ Camaro LT1 V8 .. cheap massive power... seen them new for $33000 after $5000 dealer discount... handles like the CTR (lateral g's 1.02) I'd say Dodge Challenger 392... but the car is a boat.. can handle worth shit... if you're just doing straight line all the time then go for it...

@@arutezza Wow... basically this is the same car that has been on sale since 2006 but with a slightly revised body. Yay Lexus for really going out there with improvements... not. I cannot believe they have even carried over the milquetoast IS300 AWD with the pitiful detuned 3.5L V6, not introduced a single new engine option or anything that is vastly new from 15 years ago. Let’s see, the 2006 IS350 made 306HP from its 3.5L V6... the 2021 IS350 makes 311HP from the same engine. Basically a rounding error is the only difference in 15 years of production. WTF ARE THEY THINKING? Don't get me wrong... Lexus IS a great car (Toyota high end) but I wouldn't buy one to Mod & Race... I mean it's different if you're going to totally rebuild the car into a 800HP+ monster... I guess it don't matter what you get if you're going to shred a car apart ... but for basic Mods & Tune there's much better out there for the money. Another one is Buick(GM)... they should bring back the GN & GNX and do it right... no less that 500HP twin turbo on the GN and GNX should be 650+ just to hang with the big boys... not to mention superior handling and braking! :)
