🌞 Hey friends and welcome to this protein packed vegan what I eat in a week! I wanted to show you some simple and delicious ways to incorporate some more protein into a vegan diet! I want to remind you however that an extremely high protein diet can cause harm in the long run. The same goes for not getting enough protein as well. As a plant based person sometimes I don't take the time to incorporate enough protein in my diet which helped inspire me to make this video!
Everyone needs a different intake because everyones body is different, what I eat shouldn't be 100% what you eat, I simply just wanted to give you some meal inspiration and help you have some fun in the kitchen, enjoy! 💛✨

Omg where did you find Urfa chili flakes? 😂 Its name is “isot” and it’s a spice from Turkey, Şanlıurfa. It’s used to make lots of vegan dishes such as kısır, çiğ köfte. Turkish cuisine has lots of vegan options, you might want to check them out 🤗
AMANIN Turk biri

I know you have been looking for a new bowl. I am a self taught potter and make perfectly flawed pottery that would be a nice compliment to your beautiful food. Love your channel. Thank you for all you do.
i love how unique and wholesome your food is, it inspires me to be more creative with my own meals
Girl, I needed your energy so so much. My day started with plenty of bad news so your uplifting voice and sense of humor as well as some delicious food was exactly what I needed to see. I honestly feel the pressure coming off my shoulders as the video progressed.
.
Anyways, thank you for being so awesome Julia and taking us along your week of meals!
Sending your way lots and lots of love!
where I live, that fruit is called "physalis"
Hi Julia ! I found your channel through a UA-cam recommendation and fell in love with your video covers. I'm Brazilian and I was researching native English channels and I found yours and I fell in love with your channel and with you, I'm not vegan but I love watching you even though I don't understand much of what you say.
I also discovered that I'm not particularly fond of coconut flour after my own feeble attempts at baking with it. You're definitely not alone there.
Ok, this coconut flour recipe slaps:
Coconut flatbread:
4 tbs coconut flour
1 tbs psyllium husk
Lots of spices
1/2-1 cup water
-Mix wverything together until a dough forms and let it rest for 15 minutes
-Roll out the dough to a thick flatbread and fry in a dry pan until golden! Sooo good
When I say I'm addicted to your channel!!
💛💛💛💛💛
Hey Julia! Love your channel! I don’t know if you have tried this but if you want some plant milk, if you have nuts or seeds, just soak a cup in some water overnight, then blend and strain the pulp out and it into a mason jar. Then the pulp you can make granola or cookies with. You can also blend some dates in with it for extra sweetness. Loved the video!
I discovered your channel like month or two months ago, and I'm literally obsessed with your videos you're literally my favourite youtuber
Awe thank you so much for your support, it truly means so much to me 💛🥰
THE COLOURS OF THIS COVER PHOTO ARE GORGEOUS
hi julia! yes coconut flour is quite tricky, but a quick tip is that coconut flour is 3x more absorbent than other types of flour. in terms of regular gluten flour, you would be using a third as much flour if you are using coconut flour. this might be why your experience with coconut flour is that it makes things very dry
There's just so much more opportunity in Canada. I love watching ur videos and rewatching them if I feel down. Ur still the only UA-camr I watch honestly best videos on UA-cam.
Clicked on this so fast!! Everything looks so good ❤️😋
Thank you so much!💛
I'm so glad I found your channel, as someone who's plant based this has given me so much inspiration and your diet just looks so nourishing :)
The protein balls are so good! I made them with strawberry protein powder. Thank you ☺️
The best part about vegan food at loblaws is the 30% off stickers 😭😭😭 i always feel so blessed when I see the little pink labels lol
Good luck on your upcoming recipe book. It's bound to be great 👍
Good morning Julia🌻🖤🌻🖤🌻🖤 please dont ever stop posting these inspirational ..motivating...positive videos lol..theyve litterally given me so many yummy food ideas and added positive productivity to my life💛 yr the best thanks... Have a great week!
Love your channel and energy so much ✨
🥰thank you! As always perfect, your videos are the only thing that soothens my anxiety. They are really helpfull to me.
You’re doing something great!❤️
Thank you for all the food inspo! I was wondering if you have any tips/meal planning strategies to avoid food waste? I end up being less adventurous with my grocery shopping so that I don’t let anything go bad.
7:42 Personally, I only use coconut flour in combination with other flours because it indeed absorbs a whole loads of liquids. Also, since you added cocoa powder into the mix (which is drying as well) I am not surprised you needed way more liquid than anticipated :D
omg a recipe book! that’s amazing - congrats!
you really made me give in to my cravings to eat warm savory foods for breakfast, and my energy over the day has been so much better. thank you so much for making me realize these things!
I just love your videos, they are grounding as well as inspiring. ♥️
When I am alone while eating a meal I always watch your videos to keep me company.
I love coconut flour!!! it’s all i use honestly lol for every cup of any other flour you would use you only need 1/3 cup of coconut flour :)
You give such inspiration in the kitchen!! Love your videos!
Hi from South Africa! Love your videos!
"ANY food is breakfast food - ok people?!" - this should be a tagline xoxo😄
ahhhh so excited to hear you are making a recipe book!!

OMG JULIA tell us about your plantssss
I have actually started adding pickled red onions to my avocado toast and it is SO Dang Good!! It has become my new favorite meal!
Definitely relate to the gluten-free pasta issue… I haven’t been able to find any gluten free pasta (TN, USA)! I miss pasta 🥲
I saw you have a pressure cooker you should make tempeh in a pressure cooker yeah Tempe oh just take some video and you should be able to do it OK it is a lot better than the store. Try it you’ll like it.
Such a beautiful video! Thanks for sharing! ✨🧡🧡
Thank you for this inspo!! Real food for thought 🙏💛
I’m not sure what kind of allergic reaction you had to papaya, but it could be from the skin on the outside. I know for me with tropical fruits (mainly mango) touching it or eating it off of the peel might cause irritation and rashes to my skin. The outside of mangoes and papayas are kind of like “poison ivy” when they come in contact with skin. I think it’s because of the natural sap they have. LUCKILY, nothing actually happens when i eat them. Hopefully you can still eat them too😫😂
I recommend not adding lids to your pasta when you’re trying to melt the cheese. It’ll overcook your noodles :)
In Colombia that fruit is called uchuva
Where is that yellow pan from? Every time you use it I'm like I NEED THAT PAN!! ♥
It’s from our place ☺️☺️
Hey! Random question! Where did you get your colorful mugs from? They’re so cute! Another great video, too. Would graciously accept more protein-focused videos :D
Coconut flour works wonders in homemade reeses 🙂
That hot chocolate pour!! Damnnnn
Loved watching this video😊
I love your recipes sooo much!! So easy and use products that I already have! I've never used coconut flour bc I don't like coconut but could anyone tell me if it tastes or smella like coconut?

Looks so delicious!👍
Hi!! I have a question about your sauerkraut ! I was inspired by you to start my own, but I am nervous! How long did you let your cabbage ferment? Did it turn out well??
Can you try making Indian food for a day or a whole week. I am sure you ll love it 🤗😊❤
Is the queso dip store bought or homemade? I'm super curious and really want to try it now 😄
It’s by the Presidents choice brand, they have a vegan dip line and they’re all so good! It’s the cauliflower queso dip
I have that apron but in pink 🥺 twinsies

You always make me hungry^^
Which brand of gluten free bread do you use? I have been trying to find a good one. No luck yet
where is your frying pan from? i am OBSESSED
Our place 💛💛
Well you could first just use less flour next time. Coconut flour is awesome for baking.
For the little protein balls would almond flour work??
When you don't finish your food what do you do with the rest?
Have you tried decaf?
What brand protein powder do you use?
I use plain protein from the bulk food store and I just got some “perfect sport” vegan protein powder to try out :)
@@juliaayers111 thanks so much!
What is the difference between tofu and Tempe? Which one has better taste? Just curious! I’ve never had either of them before!
Hi I am no expert, but tempeh is fermented and tofu is not. I personally like tempeh better, but haven’t experienced cooking with tofu as much 😊
I personally prefer tempeh as well because it has more of a nutty flavour but either one you definitely need to marinate- I like to make a dressing using soy sauce + peanut butter :) but sweet chilli sauce is good too
❤
what oil do you use if you dont mind me asking :)
I like using sesame seed oil, olive oil or grape seed oil! Whatever I’m vibing that day:)
I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOUUUUU. YOU'RE THE COOLEST. I AM A BIG BIG FAN OF YOURS.
Love from BANGLADESH. Hey please try some Bangladeshi food. Veganize the traditional recipe as you want. I'd love to try your version. Although i am a non-veg. But i adore you.
Ps: commenting before even watching the whole video. Yes that's how much i believe you.
Thank youuu for your support!!! I will definitely look up some recipes and see if I can recreate some!! I’m thinking I might do a “ trying foods from around the world” video at some point 🥰
@@juliaayers111 that's a great idea😍😍
❤❤❤
love your accent😘 ..........but you say freaking quiet a lot of times🤭
tortillas in the oven?! 😭😭
Why gluten free? Gluten is healthy for most people.
*says she promotes intuitive eating *is obviously afraid of oil
Julia sis pls
Ah? Are you in the right video?
It only takes little effort to spread love. Why spread hate then? Julia is helping so many people come out of eating disorders and she normalises eating until you are full. This is so precious. Please just think how it might feel to read this comment to her, who works day in day out to make videos like this one. Spread your light. It will make everyone including you, happier.
@@justcallmeflora yess exactly 🙏🏼 she’s helped me so much by showing healthy eating doesn’t have to be restrictive and that you can eat a balance of foods and treat yourself every day 💕
Julia always uses oil and has an extremely positive relationship with food! Look at how many people she is inspiring both in the kitchen and with developing a more intuitive and creative approach to food.
She utilized oil every day? Did you watch the video? 🤔🤔
