🌞 Hey friends and welcome to this protein packed vegan what I eat in a week! I wanted to show you some simple and delicious ways to incorporate some more protein into a vegan diet! I want to remind you however that an extremely high protein diet can cause harm in the long run. The same goes for not getting enough protein as well. As a plant based person sometimes I don't take the time to incorporate enough protein in my diet which helped inspire me to make this video!
Everyone needs a different intake because everyones body is different, what I eat shouldn't be 100% what you eat, I simply just wanted to give you some meal inspiration and help you have some fun in the kitchen, enjoy! 💛✨

    Protein balls:
1/2 cup coconut flour ( please use oat flour, it'll be so much better lol )
    1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder
1 scoop plain protein powder ( if you don't have plain and your protein powder is a very intense flavour i don't recommend adding more, just sub for a 1/4 cup more oat flour )
    1/4 cup hemp seeds
    1/4 cup cocoa nibs
1/4 cup almond butter ( sub PB, tahini, cashew ... )
    1/4 cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup
    1/4 cup + 1 tbsp coconut oil ( melted )
    * a couple tbsp of oat milk if needed! *
    - mix everything together really well and roll into bite size balls

Omg where did you find Urfa chili flakes? 😂 Its name is “isot” and it’s a spice from Turkey, Şanlıurfa. It’s used to make lots of vegan dishes such as kısır, çiğ köfte. Turkish cuisine has lots of vegan options, you might want to check them out 🤗

Ok, this coconut flour recipe slaps:
    Coconut flatbread:
    4 tbs coconut flour
    1 tbs psyllium husk
    Lots of spices
    1/2-1 cup water
-Mix wverything together until a dough forms and let it rest for 15 minutes
-Roll out the dough to a thick flatbread and fry in a dry pan until golden! Sooo good

Hey Julia! Love your channel! I don’t know if you have tried this but if you want some plant milk, if you have nuts or seeds, just soak a cup in some water overnight, then blend and strain the pulp out and it into a mason jar. Then the pulp you can make granola or cookies with. You can also blend some dates in with it for extra sweetness. Loved the video!

hi julia! yes coconut flour is quite tricky, but a quick tip is that coconut flour is 3x more absorbent than other types of flour. in terms of regular gluten flour, you would be using a third as much flour if you are using coconut flour. this might be why your experience with coconut flour is that it makes things very dry

7:42 Personally, I only use coconut flour in combination with other flours because it indeed absorbs a whole loads of liquids. Also, since you added cocoa powder into the mix (which is drying as well) I am not surprised you needed way more liquid than anticipated :D

I’m not sure what kind of allergic reaction you had to papaya, but it could be from the skin on the outside. I know for me with tropical fruits (mainly mango) touching it or eating it off of the peel might cause irritation and rashes to my skin. The outside of mangoes and papayas are kind of like “poison ivy” when they come in contact with skin. I think it’s because of the natural sap they have. LUCKILY, nothing actually happens when i eat them. Hopefully you can still eat them too😫😂
