This reminds me of a little story. A businessman busts his ass working hard, building a business and earning millions of dollars. After decades of hard work and sacrifice, he retires to a tourist spot by the ocean, far away. He does some sailing and decides to go fishing. He meets a fisherman there who lives on his boat. The businessman envies the fisherman's serene sense of contentment but is troubled by his lack of ambition. The businessman says, "If you were smart, you'd save up and buy another boat so you could grow your business."
      The fisherman asks, "Why?"
The businessman says, "So you can save up enough money to retire to a beautiful spot like this and, oh wait."

As an introvert myself, it’s really easy to improve EQ through small steps. You can start, or even subconsciously start, by taking charge in your small friend group by leading conversations or planning hangouts.
From there, a great way to improve EQ is joining small communities that share your interest, preferably real-life ones, like a music group or book club. Then repeat the steps above. Keep doing that until you get more comfortable with your social skills to take more risks, like public speaking or leading large groups of people. :)

    1. I get very little sleep, but I'm fine with it, it doesn't effect me.
    2. According to this I have a growth mindset.
    5. I have no idea, I spend a vast majority of my time alone/by myself, and find it difficult to determine/deal with my emotions, It's hard to explain, for me anyway.
    8. My mind won't let me, it's too loud/chaotic, lots of thoughts and memories swimming around.

Cultivating self-growth has been my largest objective for the year. I have stopped requiring validation from others and have the ability to not only validate myself, but also have confidence in myself and within others. I'm currently trying to leave more healthy emotionally and physically. I started working out, facing my past and dealing with it. I need help for that but I'm making progress. I try to not blame myself for everything but figure out the actual reasons and fix them so I have another outcame the next time. And since I know I wouldn't continue with all of this, if I would just do it on my own, I tried to find people to go with me on this way. They support me when I'm having a mental breakdown and they help me to see the things I already achieved rather than seeing the things I failed to do

I think plenty of people mistake confidence for arrogance or selfishness.
    No.
It is okay to congratulate yourself for the things you're good at, mate! You actually SHOULD!
What's not okay is to bring others down just to boost your ego. By doing so, you're lying to yourself and the others around you. That's not self-confidence. That's hidden insecurity.
So, go out there and be confident, but always remain humble.

I have taken several aptitude tests, and one common pattern emerges: I have high levels of empathy which means I'm an empath and best suitable for careers like artistic ones, psychology, life coaching etc. Although I'm environmental scientist,I'm also building my creative skills in my areas of interests using Skillshare. I also have planned to do more exploration sprints (learned from Bullet Journal Method book) in areas of my interests. This is my work done so far in gaining self awareness!
I also have been reading Jung,Earnest Beaker, and other psychologists which also has fascinated me so much.

I'm pretty sure I have a chance of success based on this (except for #1). I'm becoming more self confident. I have developed a growth mindset over time. (I remember first learning about mindsets in sixth grade, and I was pretty pessimistic and edgy so I definitely had a fixed mindset). As my drive for success and acceptance of failure is increasing, I'm starting to realize I can be successful. I hope to work on some of these things, and remember that failure and adversity are important for success. I have no idea why I'm writing this essay about it, but I feel like I should share my feelings about this. Keeping a positive attitude will help, even if it's very hard to do. Anyway, I apologize to anyone reading this for making some weird inspirational speech in the comments. :/

All of them. And I've been shockingly stumbling more and more over how successful I am. Without "success" 🤣. Not in terms of job, or love, money, sports or anything of the likes. But in being myself, on the spiritual field and in terms of emotional+social intelligence. It's really odd sometimes to notice how my "most basic of basics" end up not being as common or normal as I thought. I catch myself blinking over managing things I've never done before. And how the points you made are exactly the keys. I often wonder "Why don't they teach that in school" and "How comes majority isn't living by these when the improvement is so evident?". Just to answer, that the simple thing are often the hardest to do. The step of looking at oneself often ends up like the greatest, life threatening challenge. And the truth is, that it IS life threatening. Having come this far, I can find myself telling others not to rush, regardless of never going "back" myself. Each state and stage in life have their own challenges. Good luck, everyone!

The last one is hard. Those limiting beliefs were a part of your negative feedback loop. Challenging those thoughts as a consolidation method can open to a negative response yet again cause of the negative feeeback loop. You have to challenge it again for as long as you can to really eliminate that limiting belief in yourself.

I really try to get enough sleep. I feel like a do have a growth mindset. Instead of thinking certain things might happen, I try and change things up. Personality tests, knowing own strengths and values have been helpful. I never did an IQ or EQ test, but rising to leadership despite introversion may help as well.
Allowing setbacks might actually help people feel better about themselves. For me it's transcendental meditation which I really should do more often. From my actions, people have seen I go above and beyond even though I don't say much. I'm not weighed down by limitations.
The funny thing is, I really am 30. I may not be as successful as I wanted to be, but this is a good start.

    11. You have a mentor.
A mentor will help you with not just your financial and business/career challenges, but with your personal challenges as well. Find someone, who in their stage of life, you want to be at. Be it financial, physical, or emotional. A mentor is also always transparent with you, and will help you no matter the circumstances. If the person you’re talking to is neither of those, then they’re not the mentor for you.
