Just found out Perry Creason who uploaded this video passed away back in June of 2022. I didn't even know about that until now. I met him at this concert and he was a humble dude and loved filming these concerts. :(
These guys are top notch, class act. They kept it metal. They kept it real. They put thought into coordinating the light-show to the music which is too often overlooked in my opinion. This show was a complete experience. Also, they kept the long hair, which really means a lot to me. I will spend money on these guys, happily.

@@perrycreason8014 Obituary is the only death metal band I've seen live. One time, 1992 in Honolulu. Not many singers from that time can still hold it down like Tardy. I imagine Chuck, if he had lived, would've stopped singing years ago considering the journey his vocal chords went through.
His voice has aged PERFECTLY. I've seen them a bunch of times over the years and each time they just crush it. Killer voice, insane guitar tone, crushing drums. Perfection.

I have seen BLS once back in 2010 which is why I really want to see them again soon but have also seen Zakk with Zakk Sabbath, Ozzy, and performing at a Jimi Hendrix show. However it has been too long since I have seen him with BLS and is due time to see them again.

Their live sound is clear yet still heavy and pummeling. Donald's drums are surprisingly natural sounding, something not enough death metal drummers go for -or are able to do. Killer show
They are right up there without argument. Obituary along with Cannibal Corpse cemented Florida death metal and the genre in general and that they have remained relevant nearly 35 years later is amazing. In my opinion the Big 4 of death metal are Death, Morbid Angel, Obituary, and Cannibal Corpse. What do you think? Seen them on both Cause of Death and End Complete tours. It was unreal. We seen them one night and it was so insane we traveled 200 miles to see them the next night...miss the early 90s when Death Metal was at its pinnacle. It will never be the same

I bought a CD called "Death Metals Greatest Hits" when I was 13 and it had Slowly We Rot" on it along with some other classic death metal bands. Such a good introduction to the genre.
