Seeing them in Belfast the night before was the highlight of my year! Amazing band live and they're still killing it after nearly 40 years. They put some of the newer bands to shame. Looking forward to another chance to see them again.
Absolutely! So far gig of the year, imho \m/ Their overall live sound is just too good and the rendition of all the classics from SWR and CoD, excellent!
That voice! Unmistakable. This is death metal. Drummer has some swing too. Guy is so behind the beat he might as well be playing for the Basie big band. The feel works and keeps the whole thing heavy and sludgy. Obituary are still killing it!
this video sound quarity is very good 1. Redneck Stomp (00:00) 2. Sentence Day (04:05) 3. Barely Alive (07:05) 4. Chopped In Half/Turned Inside Out (11:19) 5. Slowly We Rot (18:00)
Kenny is a great lead player for them. I always loved James Murphy's work on Cause of Death, but Kenny has such a suprising melodic approach, he makes solos you actually listen to.^^
I feel 15 again , it was 1990 in Melbourne, when I bought Cause of Death from “Extreme Aggression” in Flinders Lane. Great Record Store that had everything heavy and extreme.
People in the front row relaxing, casually recording with their phones an Obituary gig. How times have changed...
You're not wrong. 30 years ago that would've been pure mayhem.
True dat brother
Yes idd ..no pitt. 😢
Murder in the front-row....
London astoria 94 up against the barrier, obituary, napalm death, pitch shifter and eyehategod. The good old days.
The sound was brillant. And the general buzz of the gig was fantastic.

They played Liverpool on the 7th ..Amazing live band . It's scary to think the first time I watched Obituary was in 1990 .. In Liverpool
With Morgoth and maybe one other band? I was there, right up to the stage...bloody great gig
@@DizGuysВы счастливчик в том, что близко видели Джона Тарди!!!! 😀
Saw them on that tour in Bradford, Demolition Hammer were the 3rd band on the bill there.@@DizGuys

The security guard in the front is thinking over his life choices.

Obituary
I see no head amp, crazy how technology strips down the band baggage load while touring, and those amp simulators truly give top notch sound quality
Yes, sometimes they just connect straight to the PA. Digital really made touring much easier. I used to carry a 5150 around 😵
@metalreporterjuso your flightcase mustve covered with “handle with care” stickers lol
CHOPPED IN HHHHAAAAAAAUUGGHHHHH
Красавцы!
Spasibochki
Where was the gig played?

Great sound. Thanks.

Defonce !
Jesus christ they got a great guitar player.
John needs to cut back on that delay, though.
Realllll
Obituary это thrash/heavy, но НИКАК не death, бл!
Maybe if the drummer wasn’t afraid of the actual drums
что за глухой звукач - де бочка и рабочий ?
