He doesn't play a thousand miles an hour and I don't think there's not a single blast beat in any of there songs and that's what separates Obituary from all of the others. It's just a crushing groove from start to finish.

Obituary are the best live performers of all time. I've seen Pantera, Corpse, Carcass and many, many more. Of all of these, Obituary is the best live band ever. Period. Just saw them in Baton Rouge and John still loves doing what he does best.

Fan from day 1 here.....Seen them in a very small venue when Slowly we Rot came out. Saw the 7 ore 8 times over the years John Tardy's voice back then was exceptionally good already. This was back in 2006 and what a voice he still had.......now check out vids from 2022 and he sounds even better!!

Tardys vocals still strong as ever. Wow. Congrats to him for still rocking and not looking like a fool like some other older bands do. The band seems to still be on top of their game as well. This is some of the tightest live shit I've ever heard. Didn't miss a beat.
Such a great set of songs and with Allen West and Frank Watkins on stage too. Allen West has such a recognisable playing style and sound. It's part of what sets them apart from a lot of bands in this genre. I need to buy this at some point but thanks putting it up.

What a killer vid and show. Bought "Worle Demise" in '96 then "Back From The Dead" a few years later. Its amazing to me that this live show almost sounds better than the studio stuff. Vocals are clearer at least. Great the place was packed.

Been a fan of these for over 20 years, and just seen them for the first time on the Deathcrusher tour with Napalm Death, Voivod, Herod and Carcass. They were the best band of the night, their set opened up exactly the same as the opening here. Brilliant performance by true legends of the death metal genre.

Been a fan of these for over 20 years, and just seen them for the first time on the Deathcrusher tour with Napalm Death, Voivod, Herod and Carcass. They were the best band of the night, their set opened up exactly the same as the opening here. Brilliant performance by true legends of the death metal genre.

Obituary is simply unique. Albeit it got me sometime to get into them because I so much in corpse back then that i could not wrap around my head why obituary played it slow but this live simply blew me away and this is the grooviest soup i ever tasted. Tastes murky

Death Dokladnie, jeden z najlepszych gigow na jakich bylem. Jedynie obecnosci Catamenii w tym skladzie nie rozumialem ;) Sinister, Grave i Obituary rozniesli Stodole w drobny mak!
