That was very special for us because we debuted that day, 31 years after forming the band!!!...so you can imagine...an unforgetable day. I had them all signing my vynil copy of Hearwork. My 17 years old son took some pictures with Bill...one of the best days in my 52 years🤟🤟🤟

Really like the sound the Front of house did a great job. I also really like how they come out normal not looking over produced with flashy guitars and set. Excellent metal with real talent that's whats up.
49:58 - This was some of the most fun I've had in ages in that Pit! Waltzing about with Aston! Haha Such a perfect Gig man, everyone had smiles and it was such a positive happy set! So chuffed we get the full thing here!!! 🤘🏻🥹🍻
Whoever did the mixing for the set did a phenomenal job. I was at this set and this video doesn't do justice to just how fucking tight that kit sounded live.
I have to see Carcass open for Hatebreed in October. What kind of ass-backwards shlt is that? I get Hatebreed sells more units, but come on. Carcass better get a hour at least.
Genuinely couldn't care less whos the guest of who, i'm honestly grateful Carcass is down to earth enough to take even opener slots to play. I don't think there's a lot of bands as important as they are that would still do that. Amon Amarth sells like crazy and they put on a fantastic show so I see the appeal. With that said, it would still be awesome to see Carcass for more than 30min in a lot of these shows :')
Sound better there than what they did in Melbourne earlier this year. I've seen them every tour since I was 17. Just gone 30 years.. Still kicking ass!
I first heard Carcass around about 1990 when a buddy loaned me a tape with Reek on one side, and Symphonies on the other. I immediately fell in love and have loved Carcass, ALL their work, ever since. I'm 50 now and still listen to them on a regular basis. For me they do no wrong.
I just noticed the most awesome fret inlays Jeff has on his bass - I must of watched 100's of Carcass videos; but this the first time I've noticed them. That bass is truly one of the "Tools of the Trade".
Oh man, I really wanted to see their whole performance, but my band Semprah was performing at this exact time on the New Blood Stage :D I'm so happy that you uploaded the whole concert, I love this band!
I became a fan before I ever actually heard them after seeing the cover Necrotism: Descanting The Insalubrious when it first came out. To this day, it’s my favorite death metal album and in my top 10 of all time!
In 1996 I found 'Swansong' at a Best Buy in a display that said "All Time Favorites." I had heard Heartwork but maybe it just didn't click with me for whatever reason, being a thrash metal fan. I bought Swansong and the course of my musical tastes forever changed. Heartwork is 100% the best death metal album ever written.
@CreatureFeature666 I definitely dig it too. I can't understand some of the hate it gets. It is a little watered-down but still has some great riffs. Some great leads appear in that and the EP in my opinion 👍
I fell in love with Carcass because of Dan Wilding. Got to see his first show with them, Noctis 666. Their old stuff sounds awesome live. I love Bill Steer riffs. And I love Bill Steer leads.
Absolute legends I watch this and feel fuzzy because carcass is my favorite band and seeing bill play is insane for me. i love this band so much it is indescribable.
It's really cool how Bill Steer plays death metal/grindcore and looks like a 70's hard rock guitarist.
Because he is a 70's hard rock guitarist.
@@elviradark6902 hes the friggin best
The best bell bottoms in death metal
William Steer is the Death Metal Peter Pan.......forever young🤘💪
yes, he can go and do a Lynyrd Skynyrd set after this with that look. And nail it too...
That drummer is clearly living his best life
His constant smile proves it
Mean backup vox too!
I can't help but wonder if he is smiling because there were probably A LOT if titties flashed at that show..
Is that Dan Wilding?
IS A HEAVEN FOR HIM!!!!
I was 14 in 1993 my father bought me Heartwork CD for my birthday and i still have it
You have a cool dad.
I saw them when they were 3 piece back in the day 🔥
I would have exchanged it for symphonies or reek
@@vicklagina their best albums 👍🏻
One of my favorite album from carcass
Love how Bill and Jerry Cantrell are slowly morphing into the same person

both awesome guitars players

So beautiful that Ken Owen is on the side of the stage. 🥲

I have to say, this is the tightest and best recorded carcass live performance potentially EVER
So blessed to have pitted the entire time ^_^
When are these guys going to play a complete version of black star. Come on give us that a least once.
Blown away by the vocals
I know, right?! SO brutal this time.
Yeah, those vokills are on point.

The greatest British death metal band of all time... with Bolt Thrower in a very close second ;)
Death metal perfection. One of the GOATs 🤘
Old school gore grind 🤙

Incredible.
Como los de mi suegra, bueno, los de ella no siempre son tan acertados..😂
He really does sound amazing
Love the sound of carcass..it is unique.
The best thing of this awesome performance is the endless smile on the drummer's face. Love this band for 30 years already! Keep on rotting!!!
This needs to be released as a live record…..absolute legendary set. They played their asses off.
Hats off to the sounds dudes - sounded freaking amazing
Bills guitar stayed in tune! 😅
My fifth time seeing them and by FAR the best I've ever seen them perform.
Isnt anyone hearing how sloppy Bills playing is? he can't handle the fast tempos. There is no way he would release this concert.
@@uv77mc85 Was wondering if anyone else heard it. Incarnated Solvent Abuse is not tight at all.
They still have it after all these decades. Carcass Forever!!! \M/\M/
Jeff’s vocals are unmatched
Whatever you say, ever heard of John Tardy
One of the Best Carcass live ever. Thank you, Bloodstock!
That guitar tone is amazing
Someone complained about them using Les Paul’s. Not death metal enough looking
guitar is "ok". Nothing spectacular. Rest of the mix is a$$

@@vaper_ju_7421 Nice to hear it live.
Great to see them still playing some of their grind classics - and ending with Reek of Putrefaction was totally brutal
Jeff with GUTTURAL vocals! I don't what's up with THIS set, but it's largely at album tempos which rules because the grooves aren't destroyed.
Have they been playing slower live? I saw them a year ago for the first time & they were great.

Obituary and Carcass - literally my two favorite death metal bands for more years than I like to count!
Same!

I love that they’re playing Swansong tracks. Underrated album imo
Swansong is groovy as fuck
Old school will always fucking rule! This is immense.
