@@onrdetailingnews802I honestly would buy the Fubu shoe. It doesn't look bad at all, and looks better than the rest of the garbage that has been released a lot for the past few years.

@larryjimbob in my country, Greece, Pony's became popular because of the greatest Greek basketball player, Nick Galis, where he was wearing Pony throughout all his career. But he was Greek American so that made a lot of sense.
FUBU was good quality back then, key phrase here is "back then". They are nothing like what they were back then and are now low quality waste. Same with And1 and Rocawear.
I remember growing up in the 90's wearing low quality shoes like this, in a country that was barely out of the communisms. it's true, not a lot of people could afford much back in the days. but still brands like nike, adidas or reebok were coming on the market. my mother used to buy me cheap sneakers, which would break in less than 3 days and she blamed me for not knowing how to take care of them. she was looking at sneakers that were "stitched" but it was always these kind of shoes. i ended up walking with them torn or with holes in them, but also after a couple o months buying another cheap shoe. I think these type of shoes should be forbidden to produce or sell. You actually end up paying more and help consumerism. also your self esteem as a kid will suffer. I ended up having a collection of sneakers now, just because when I was a kid this thing stuck to me.
FUBU was started partially as an outrage response to a comment made by an official of one of the "top tier" shoe brands at the time that they did not design their shoes for (insert derogatory term for low income minority group), even though they were extremely popular amongst those minority group music artists at the time. Hence the brand name "For Us By Us". FUBU brand I don't think had ever promise quality over styling.... Therefore aside from being sold to Walmart, to criticize the brand's lacking quality is a bit unfair especially based on the basement pricing that Walmart is typically known for.
sad that fubu is sold in walmart in america, here in germany is sold in snipes in malls and online (edit: they together with karl kani wich also gets sold in snipes are a nice choise if you wear classics hip hop style) and they got some really great pieces of clothing, but not shoes. not at all
Nike has a problem quantity over quality ! Just bought an air max 95 and the quality is atrocious and when they say jordans are flawed try other nike shoes ! I bought my 1st air max it was an air max 95 and it used to be the best shoes ! That pair lasted 10 years !
I have a challenge for you if possible put out a video of how you can diy your own affordable/cheap shoe or modify another cheap shoe to simply be better quality or comfort maybe either a sneaker or boot design or both
find a local cobbler and go talk to them. making your own shoe wont be easy or practical. and spending money on a cheaper shoe to try and make it better prob isnt worth it either. if you buy a honda civic and think you can just upgrade it to have the power and handling of a ferrari you will spend more than just buying a ferrari and have even more headaches. best is to save up some $$ and buy a quality shoe that can be repaired. actual leather, goodyear welted or something made to be resoled. you can find really good boots for around $200 that should last a long time and can be repaired to extend the life. im a big fan of buy once, cry once.
@@turdferguson7686 bad analogy, those are sometimes called kit cars and you can actually have ferrari level power and look for far less but I do get your point 200 boots just arent something im willing to pay for anymore unless I see the quality is worth it ive seen in recent years they are selling timberlands for 200 now. Theres no way im paying that for timberlands. they wont hold up either. i know that from experience
Back in the early 2000s Fubu were the cool basketball shoes where I live in Ireland. I thought they were a dead brand as we don't have Walmart. Sad to see.
It would be cool if you could get ahold of McDowell's pro sport 1's. They were a vegan version of the Jordan 1, but the construction and materials were pretty good for fake leather. EDIT: McDowell's do sell pro sport 1 laces... I'm bummed that Nike sued McDowell so that can't sell them
My son walks around in fubu shoes i told him back in my day that was brand name shoes he said these Walmart specials i told him yeah he said what does fubu mean i told him for us by us fb for blacks he said what the hell 😂😂😂
But isn’t the problem with both and I can only speak for Nike that the weakest point anyway is the sole ? And that this will wear of in both so that the rest is a second thought for me. Or do I miss something ?
Idk why anyone would go with these when you can find some decent shoes at outlets or ebay for a little bit more. I have a request, could you do my favorite sneaker? Ultraboost 1.0s. Cheers and Merry Christmas, long time fan.
Here’s the thing even before this stuff got there somehow people ended up looking down on it after its big boom. And well before it was being sold in Walmart. And no it hasn’t dropped in quality at that point . I don’t remember anybody wearing their shoes though. It’s now a Puma products
I liked, and I will comment. But I really don't care about the sneaker videos AT ALL! I'd love to see you start cutting various dress shoes apart to get a look at the insides of the spectrum of those.

People in poor communities need Jordans - and big corporations like Walmart are exploiting their desperation.
Sad, I remember how huge FUBU was. Just said the brand's come to this point.
He be cappin if you cut anything it's gonna tear up faster lol 🤣🤣🤣
I had a pair of fubu's back late 90s or early 2000s. But the pair i had were actually dope as F. 2-3 shades of brown. Get were clean.
FUBU was good quality back then, key phrase here is "back then". They are nothing like what they were back then and are now low quality waste. Same with And1 and Rocawear.
Can you do the ON Cloud sneakers. I want to know if they are really worth it like a lot of people claim to be.
Cool how the cheap junk never cuts as good/straight as the leathers do.
That's the cheapest sneaker I've ever seen 😂 that's pitiful
sad that fubu is sold in walmart in america, here in germany is sold in snipes in malls and online (edit: they together with karl kani wich also gets sold in snipes are a nice choise if you wear classics hip hop style) and they got some really great pieces of clothing, but not shoes. not at all
Nike has a problem quantity over quality ! Just bought an air max 95 and the quality is atrocious and when they say jordans are flawed try other nike shoes ! I bought my 1st air max it was an air max 95 and it used to be the best shoes ! That pair lasted 10 years !
It says "(music)" on the subtitles when he's cutting them in half lol
I have a challenge for you if possible
put out a video of how you can diy your own affordable/cheap shoe or modify another cheap shoe to simply be better quality or comfort
maybe either a sneaker or boot design or both
find a local cobbler and go talk to them. making your own shoe wont be easy or practical. and spending money on a cheaper shoe to try and make it better prob isnt worth it either. if you buy a honda civic and think you can just upgrade it to have the power and handling of a ferrari you will spend more than just buying a ferrari and have even more headaches. best is to save up some $$ and buy a quality shoe that can be repaired. actual leather, goodyear welted or something made to be resoled. you can find really good boots for around $200 that should last a long time and can be repaired to extend the life. im a big fan of buy once, cry once.
@@turdferguson7686 bad analogy, those are sometimes called kit cars and you can actually have ferrari level power and look for far less but I do get your point
200 boots just arent something im willing to pay for anymore unless I see the quality is worth it
ive seen in recent years they are selling timberlands for 200 now. Theres no way im paying that for timberlands. they wont hold up either. i know that from experience
You can actually buy 8 pairs of these for the jordan 1 retail price of $180... Great deal!
Tommy hilfiger stood but fubu never had been your collection
What do you think of Autry shoes
Back in the early 2000s Fubu were the cool basketball shoes where I live in Ireland. I thought they were a dead brand as we don't have Walmart. Sad to see.
Wore fubu at its height in the early 90s, it was the ish 😂
Do a pair of British Knights next
Hate to break it to you but those were Nike Dunk rip offs, not AJ1s 😂
hey man, can you review the quality of onitsuka tiger mexico 66
I just discovered a new brand, Veja. You don't hear a lot about it in North America but it's hugely popular in France. Would you mind analysing THAT?
FUBU is still one of my favorite clothing brands honestly, but to be honest the shoes they made were never great quality at all.
FUBU has always been junk. I’m sure the shark tank dude sold it long ago and made out just fine.
Fubu shoes I never seen anybody saying they tear up that fast ⏩
"as low as $7."
"All fake leather."
Color me surprised
Why nike / Jordan brand doesnt do a Jordan 1 protro they did the zoom 1s but a protro is what us consumers want !
