I bought the Instant Pot Duo Crisp 8qt at Target for $179.00. I don't regret it. I work 3rd shift and after being up all night at work I don't feel like cooking on the stove. Just dump whatever in the Instant Pot and be done with it.
I caught mine for 150 for the duo crisp from kohl’s. I haven’t set it up yet but I cnt wait to use it

got mine from Walmart online for $96..I have a 3qt I use almost everyday and wanted something a bit larger for lamb legs, whole chicken, you get the idea...these two do 40% of all my cooking, my convection microwave does 50% and my stove top only does about 10%...very nice video btw

Slow cooking in the instant pot... DO NOT use pressure, switch the vent to venting not seal. And then it IS just a regular slow cooker.

I have a convection microwave and a multicooker, both used daily. But I still want this! Mostly coz of the stainless steel inner pot.

I mostly cook pot roasts and ribs.
I started with the ninja foodi PRO tendercrisp. Though chose to pickup the instant pot duo crisp. I still own both. And i prefer the removable lid compared to the ninja with a fixed airfryer lid. And in a semi truck i find the fixed hinged lid to be a hassle and rhe vertical lid makes it headache to pressure cook with.
You can cook a roast with natural release fork tender 😋😉

Just buy regular instapot. Then cheaper airfrier. The airfyer attachment will take space anyway.

Uh... that steam rack is in upside down. Those "legs" are actually handles for lifting out the steamed food. There were also a couple other goofs that make the review seem inaccurate. lol.
It’s either or. For steaming/pressure cooking they are handles to lift out. For air frying they are legs for added height.
@@kowens8504 Just realized, my Duo and my Duo Crisp each have a different rack. DCrisp is as shown in the video, with arms that can be locked as legs. But the video still is a contradiction. It ONLY presents it as a steamer rack, but shows it in what you're describing as air fryer mode. As a steam rack, it would go handles up/feet down (the little nubs that raise it off the pot bottom). It raises the food up just enough to be out of the small amount of water in the bottom of the pot. There's no reason steaming would require the rack to be that high. Should have been described as an air fryer rack the way he showed it, or a steamer rack shown with the arms up, or since we're talking "is it worth it?" maybe mention both features/methods since it's a review. It just seemed incomplete and inaccurate to me.

Hi Pete Did you get this from Walmart.This IP is very Poorly Made My friend was putting on their coat and bumped the pot that was sitting on my counter the cover was not on it at the time.The pot fell apart noticed the plastic is so Damn Thin where it attaches with screws and washers it is a DESIGN FLAW!!! or designed to Break!!!
Just get the 8 quart Crock-Pot version for $90.
8 Quart is now $150 on eBay. I challenge you to duplicate those best ever french fries in a convection oven or convection toaster oven. Air fryer is like a convection oven on steroids.

I live alone, my wife told me that I would STRAVE to death once she left, that gambling pig of a wife.

She then said that it looks like I didn't strave to death after all ... I told her that I bought an Instant Pot Pressure cooker, crisper and a COOKBOOK. . . she took the check and got into her 2008, rusted out Caviler and drove away.
