I always grinded exp in the Heroes guild farming guards. Just do a bit of gold exploit, get about 50-100 will potions, get physical shield and just shoot them with bow (ebony bow works great as skormas kills guards too quickly, making it longer for others to respawn). Try and keep one guard alive always till another one spawns with lighting, just by tapping him, stunlocking him in the process and keeping the multiplier going until more guards spawn, also gives tons of will xp once you get the combat multiplier high, which you need to lvl up all spells. I managed to get to 150x combat multiplier and got all skills upgraded in about 3 hours, kills the fun of the game for the rest of the playthrough, but one shotting whisper in the protect/attack farm is always fun
@@Jimothy-723There is a money exploit in the originala but it's done a different way by abusing how the supply and demand systems works (you can't duplicate items however.) Very nice, all in one kind of guide. I'll admit i skipped a few parts i knew well enough though, but i do have some minore extras (if you mentioned them, i apologize) Firstly is etem mode. Possible on both console and pc. Plok did a guide on it, though i cant remember the original source. You can use it to access bowerstone north early with any trophy, and you can get the gold fish trophy before wasp queen. You can force push the bandit through the door, then assassin's rush him, but i had more difficulty with that than it seems you did your way. The white balverines replacing the guards in oakvale is a thing too, though it takes forever.

My favorite of the Fable series. Played this game to death on Original XBOX. I miss those chungus controllers though. and when I found out about the money exploit for that version I was like yay no more being poor. Anyways nice and entertaining vdideo
After a few attempts I've given up on trying the EXP exploit, the money exploit is easy but I frustratingly couldn't get past making 8700 exp points, using my mouse to continuously press confirm and selecting different spells in the different tabs got too frustrating that I've ended up backing out of exp portal unintentionally twice and I subsequently raged quit hahaha I loved the video, very funny!
I have a new video out where I explain all the potion locations and how to duplicate them ASAP. Witch, when spammed, in my opinion, is the easier and better exploit for free experience. I have the link in this videos description. Thank you, my dude!!
my mind is still blown from the manashield thing, especially during the arena with whisper. i found out that if you keep mana shield active, you won't lose multiplier, so i was constantly capped out at 99 .. crazy good XP in there.
Thank you all for your support and comments! It really means the world to me. I am currently working on a new video for Fable, about getting into Bowerstone North and obtaining the Solus Greatsword. And I do apologize for the long delay in videos, as life has been pretty hectic with everything I've got going on. But again I really love all the feed back I've gotten so far from everyone! Expect a new Fable video within a week or sooner! Much Love everybody!
Dude, this video was very well done. You deserve any attention you are gertting right now. I shall watch you with great interest. Know that you've gained a subscriber and know that any progress you make here is yours choom!
For the record, this glitch still works and it works on the Xbox version of the anniversary edition. You just have to highlight the high number item and then use the left thumb stick to switch to the next menu and hit a almost as fast as you hit the left thumb stick if you do it will say sell that item for that ridiculous amount. My suggestion is the bounce back-and-forth until you have 99999 apples
Been playing Fable for almost 12 years now, never knew about the experience exploit. Honestly, what would I do to get more experience would go down to the ancient cullis gate and kill a whole bunch of earth trolls. At first there will be hobbes, but at some point an earth troll will be in that circle, if you kill it and then either go back to the top of the stairs or to the bridge and go back to that circle, the earth troll will respawn. Rinse and repeat. Plus they drop a rubies and a ton of will potions that you can continue that gold exploit if need
in the quest where you kill your mentor there is a shade behind one of the pillars in upper part of the village top right side it respawns very quick and gives huge exp essentially unlimited exp in very short time its been very long time i last played the game so i forgot everything even though i knew almost all the exploits and figured out myself anyways i think this is a good enough hint if you are playing the game
28:55 I think the text is glitching out because the game is looking at the number of experience in the spell and is supposed to display a text that corresponds to how much experience is in the skill. In programming there is a conditional if statement. Basically if A execute Subroutine A. From what I can see on the front end without looking at any of the game code, Fable is not using IF statements instead that backend is relying on using math to call on game text. When you were repeatedly trying to refund Multistrike, that experience went into a negative negative number and rolled over variable or bit value. Because the math was being executed correctly by getting an unintended value, the game searched the corresponding text that is attached to a number value. As a result you got what would appear to be text from the credits and some of Whispers dialogue to show up. It’s funny because it’s also a little bit spooky because it’s almost seems like the game is breaking the fourth wall.
@_Xiagax_ I greatly appreciate this comment. You understand coding language to the point of noticing that math is definitely included in the games calculations of outcomes. This is part of the reason older games are so incredible. Each game is basically completely built up from scratch, allowing these interesting and new interactions to play out. Even after all these years. And that was a real reaction to fourth wall breaking XD so glad you caught that hahaha!
Its because the string pointers are located next to eachother and the spell tooltip is accessing it like an array. The game thinks his spell is level 8 or something while he is refunding it and so the pointer is now on text_ptr[7] when without exploits the most it would get to is text_ptr[3]. Those strings just happen to be located alongside the multistrike strings in the DATA partition
You can do it with a controller. When you have your apples selected, you have to press left or right on the d-pad and then immediately press the A button after. The item you want duplicated needs to be at the top of its page, so sell everything above it first.
For XP, just duplicate the Ages of Will/Skill/Strength potions and assign them to 3 of your D-pad buttons and spam them. It will go by faster if you have an experience multiplier, which is obtained in battles.
The money exploit can be done on the console. Been doing it for years. After you tap something to pop up the buy/sell 1 or more menu their is a small delay in which you switch the products
I've actually impressed myself just completed the arena 8 rounds in one go at this point in the game force push and alot of mana and health potions with ok armour it's a breeze. Got original copies of the games completed them all back in the day this felt harder to start with getting creamed alot but force push and slow time are excellent early powers to invest in
doesn't work on lost chapters i'm assuming? cause the menu that you talk about with the selling and buying potions doesn't pop up for OG fable i think.
Hmmmm, I actually have not tried the, lets call it Item duping; on Lost Chapters. Once I finish my next video render, Ill hop on, see what the deal is and ill get back to you
The exp glitch made my game crash 😂. I’m on Xbox btw and the money glitch works and you can use the method from the money glitch on the exp level up glitch
@@projesterstudio Yup. Each marriage earns you 1,000 renown points. You can have the wife follow you at Oakvale and punch the merc. He will do the job for you then. Get a ring again, get married again, and repeat. You will have no widow numbers then. 😉
After killing everyone in Oakvale, I went to try this method so I could get enough money to buy all their houses. Got stoked when I saw Derek was selling 214 for this account
Awesome video! I love seeing compilations of all the neat tricks this game has to offer. But if I might provide some insight on some of these tricks. Your shop only has 21 apples because you are playing on heroic. Chicken mode will have 214. I suspect that your game is crashing because of vsync. I have seen a lot of issues with the exp menu while having vsync enabled. There is a more effective way of handling the negative exp rather than buying the cheapest spell. You have to find a stat you can afford with that exp category. Menu manipulation only affects your general exp, so if you find a stat that you can afford with just skill, will, or straight, it will reset your exp and give you the exp you spent on it. This will keep you from wasting exp when resetting to 0 general exp. I'm impressed that you noticed menu manipulating into magic power leveled up multi-strike. It took us years to figure that out. I really like your idea about using it to get a free 54,000 exp, but an alternative is menu manipulating magic power into physical shield that will level up accuracy for the cost of physical shield, giving you the 2nd most expensive stat for the cost of physical shield. Once you get it to level 6 menu manipulate speed into it. This will provide you with 82,000 exp pre reset. While the days of the week affect if you get skorms bow, it is not worth the time and effort. The most important facts are player alignment, sacrifices health, and time of day; as long as you have those three things, you are golden. If I had to put it on a scale of 1-10, how important the day of the week is, I'd say it's a 3. There is a much easier glitch to getting into bowerston north. You can use Etem mode v3 to disable the guard's script and push him out of the way. It's rather hard to explain, but BudgeBuilds has a great video explaining and showcasing it.
Ahhhhh!!! The apple question has been ANSWERED!!! Thank you for that, yeah I forgot that I always play in Heroic haha. Isn't menu manipulation crazy! In the best kind of ways! Yeah I noticed the multi-strike weirdness right away, that's why I only work in the Magic tab. But that's why I love this game! Even in this games exploiting there's diversity with how best feels comfortable for you, I love the freedom of choice this game offers! The main reason I mention the days of the week is because, I've never failed with that procedure I use. But you are correct, I have gotten Skorms Bow on a day other that Sat goin into Sun. Ohhh Bowerstone north, I'm probably going to make a video on that soon XD Thank you for your wealth of extra info on these topics! I checked out your page after you posted this and you go deep as well my friend! If anyone is reading this go check out @Lifitacy page, as he goes in-depth as well on his own channel! Much Love!
@@projesterstudio Another note on playing on Heroic difficulty is that you get little to no EXP from trading... If you were on chicken chaser (normal) difficulty then just by doing the gold manipulation, your skill xp would be in the THOUSANDS!! It's how we get so much xp early in speedruns ;) Great vid though man, thanks for some great fable content :)
Great video man! Question I wasn’t able to follow the very end of the EXP exploit. What was the process to essentially break the code and be able to keep undoing max multi strike without anything happening? Maybe I’m dumb but I couldn’t follow your steps to do that. Great stuff man! EDIT: NVM I figured it out haha.
Channel still alive? awesome channel nontheless. Edit: there is a simplier and better way to get into bowerstone north. A good example is plokthemastergamer's method Edit 2: also 2:50 W H O O P S
Hallo, i tested on xcloud which is x360 version and money and exp exploits are working an on controller using A plus d-pad button at once however it only goes to the next menu on the left or right so you might need to get used to. Got the skorm bow at the third attempt and the sword as well.
@@Hokejdsfonly works on aniversary edition. all other editions do not have this bug. only works with left and right menue manipulations. press D-Pad slightly before A.
A multiple of 6 is most certainly not always saturday. 12 is a friday, as example. To always get it right, if the day counter +1 or -6 is a multiple of 7 then it is saturday. 6, 13, 20, 27, 34, ...
I've just bought this today. I played the original on the 360 and frankly I remember it being better and somewhat easier to play. Especially the quest where we are in competition with the female Hero (forget her name) where we need to kill more Hobbs than her; I always won that on the original 360 version but now, with this Anniversary edition, I've lost twice in a row. They have changed the game to make it much harder to win. That is sick, but then, game developers are sick in the head with all the gas-lighting they do; namely making it the same damn key, usually the Y button, for multitudes of different things and always in the same place so you can mistakenly do the wrong thing when you are in a hurry. No decent sane person would do that. I'm, referring specifically to Hitman 1, 2 & 3 and State Of Decay 5. Causes no end of frustration and this can't be accidental as I'd never do that if I were programming games. Seems they suffer from narcissistic personality disorder.
With the Sword of Aeons, I think I broke the game with that XD I ended up making the wasp fall through the stairs, and when i rushed into it, my character started falling into the stairs and got stuck at an angle and the game froze XD it looked rather funny
You can do the gold exploit on console you need to hit (on xbox where I play) “A” to select and “LT” (Left trigger) to change tabs but same principle otherwise needs to be top item and what not
Can you do the sword exploit with any summon or only wasps cause I already past that point and have a bandit summon but would love to do the glitch if I still can
No you are not able to do it with any other summon than the wasp. I was just trying for like 10 mins just now. I'm using a bandit and I was able to kinda summon him in the floor but, I wasn't able to get through. Force Push didn't seem to help either. Sorta lame as there is no way I know to unlevel your Summon ability.
I've been able to do the money glitch on the controller You have to select the item and change tabs at the same time. If it worked, it'll say you have more items than the high-priced one. I was on xbox, so maybe it was different
The video is solid, but you take too long getting to the point. You don't start talking about the first exploit until like 7 minutes in. Most youtube videos are only 10-15. Make the information come quicker and it will be a much nicer watch
This is helpful for some people that want to see a person going through the process as they would, so they can see what happens. Not every video needs to follow the same formula
I literally just played Fable Anniversary 2 weeks ago and spent ~4 hours maxing out physique by exploiting the earth troll reset in Ancient Cullis Gate and the undead at Grey House. Unfortunately I don’t think most of this is going to be helpful on console, but I’m definitely going to try the Sword of Aeons exploit
Okay so this might help someone else-if you go to the Ancient Cullis gate, you might be able to get the enemies that spawn near the gate to continually respawn by walking away a short distance and walking back. Once the spawn becomes an earth troll you can grind out renown there pretty easily
@projesterstudio Oh also, now I've watched more, I noticed you said to sacrifice on days that are a factor of six because it will be the correct day, actually should be a factor of 7 minus 1 to the total since it's 7 days but the count starts on 0.
@@editdotexe Damnnnnn!!! Your completely right!!! I do say six! Yes that is my mistake! It is amultiple of 7 minus one, for anyone who has been playing and do not want to start a new character. SO for example: if your on game day 19; (7...14...21) Twenty One is your next Sunday game day. So day 20 is when you'd be performing the ritual. (7*3)-1=20 [OR] (7*X)-1=Y Thanks for pointing this out! Ill have to give you a shout out when I make a solo video for this!
@@projesterstudio No problem, I've also seen on the wiki that you don't have to skip the cutscene where the bodyguard floats to the alter because it's already decided what you got, which seems right from my experince, and that the best bodyguard is the one in twinblade's camp, but that one doesn't really matter since you can't get that one before some quests, and the Oakvale one seems fine anyway.
Hey! So once in game; open your Pause Menu, head over to Options, and in the Control Options Tab make sure your Control Scheme is set to "Keyboard & Mouse". Then you should see your cursor pop-up! Hope this Helps!

Ive played all the fables except the first for some reason lol, this video helped a lot, thanks bro!
After a few attempts I've given up on trying the EXP exploit, the money exploit is easy but I frustratingly couldn't get past making 8700 exp points, using my mouse to continuously press confirm and selecting different spells in the different tabs got too frustrating that I've ended up backing out of exp portal unintentionally twice and I subsequently raged quit hahaha
I loved the video, very funny!
I assume by getting the great sword Solus you mean early before the Arena
@richardmoran1161 yes! Oh baby Yes!
@@TacticalGlizzy Thank you! I appreciate your words greatly!
Very well put together. You've got a great comedic chop in your editing! Subbed for more!
Take a shot every time this guy says "yes" 😅
YES!!!!
What a great demo, thank you for this doing gods work.
Awesome video, surprised by the sub count too!
Plus they drop a rubies and a ton of will potions that you can continue that gold exploit if need
be honest... you got the sword of aeons first...
in the quest where you kill your mentor there is a shade behind one of the pillars in upper part of the village top right side it respawns very quick and gives huge exp essentially unlimited exp in very short time
its been very long time i last played the game so i forgot everything even though i knew almost all the exploits and figured out myself anyways i think this is a good enough hint if you are playing the game
Loved this video! Laughed aloud several times xD New Like and sub well earned!
Got original copies of the games completed them all back in the day this felt harder to start with getting creamed alot but force push and slow time are excellent early powers to invest in
why am i loving this vid actually making me LMAO. good job
Hey thanks man! I'm glad you enjoyed it

Great video! Thank you for the tips and tricks!!
doesn't work on lost chapters i'm assuming? cause the menu that you talk about with the selling and buying potions doesn't pop up for OG fable i think.
Hmmmm, I actually have not tried the, lets call it Item duping; on Lost Chapters. Once I finish my next video render, Ill hop on, see what the deal is and ill get back to you
Yeah the item duping does not work the same in OG Lost Chapters.
@@projesterstudio but can it be done?
The exp glitch made my game crash 😂. I’m on Xbox btw and the money glitch works and you can use the method from the money glitch on the exp level up glitch
I always liked becoming legendary by getting married 13 times. I did it without killing any villagers. 😉
Whaaat that's crazy! I didn't know that was a thing haha
@@projesterstudio Yup. Each marriage earns you 1,000 renown points. You can have the wife follow you at Oakvale and punch the merc. He will do the job for you then. Get a ring again, get married again, and repeat. You will have no widow numbers then. 😉
@@benjaminA.stantonpunlmao but you still technicaly killed your wife 12 times

443rd sub bc this vid is g o l d; made me buy the Fable games again lolol; can't wait to see more B)
I still love the glitch to getting the sword of Eons early was kept in the anniversary edition
After killing everyone in Oakvale, I went to try this method so I could get enough money to buy all their houses. Got stoked when I saw Derek was selling 214 for this account
I identify as a townsfolk… and a wasp… you are cancelled…
And subbed…
Ohhh Bowerstone north, I'm probably going to make a video on that soon XD
Thank you for your wealth of extra info on these topics!
It's how we get so much xp early in speedruns ;) Great vid though man, thanks for some great fable content :)
spiff would be proud
Back in the day, we used to dig through the walls, like a rabbit or a mouse
Great video man! Question I wasn’t able to follow the very end of the EXP exploit. What was the process to essentially break the code and be able to keep undoing max multi strike without anything happening? Maybe I’m dumb but I couldn’t follow your steps to do that. Great stuff man!
EDIT: NVM I figured it out haha.
Channel still alive? awesome channel nontheless.
Edit: there is a simplier and better way to get into bowerstone north.
A good example is plokthemastergamer's method

Introduction spoke to me
Hallo, i tested on xcloud which is x360 version and money and exp exploits are working an on controller using A plus d-pad button at once however it only goes to the next menu on the left or right so you might need to get used to. Got the skorm bow at the third attempt and the sword as well.
That's awesome! Thank you for the feed back it really means a lot!
@cesarbonnet3630 how u do it? on mine console crush game every time 😢

Just a thought, you could always use the item dupe glitch to dupe a bunch of xp potions.
PLEASE check out my new video!!! It's on this exact subject

A multiple of 6 is most certainly not always saturday.
12 is a friday, as example.
To always get it right, if the day counter +1 or -6 is a multiple of 7 then it is saturday.
6, 13, 20, 27, 34, ...
Chicken chaser is the best insult for a starter name I ever heard…. Devs really where not afraid of having fun before, 2024 is the era of the stupid
This is amazing
If you get the sword of aeons through the glitch, does the game automatically not let you get Avo’s Tear too? 🧐
With the Sword of Aeons, I think I broke the game with that XD I ended up making the wasp fall through the stairs, and when i rushed into it, my character started falling into the stairs and got stuck at an angle and the game froze XD it looked rather funny
the gold exploit made me the richest kid of the world!
You can do the gold exploit on console you need to hit (on xbox where I play) “A” to select and “LT” (Left trigger) to change tabs but same principle otherwise needs to be top item and what not
10/10 intro
Thank you!
Can you do the sword exploit with any summon or only wasps cause I already past that point and have a bandit summon but would love to do the glitch if I still can
You know what? I haven't actually tried yet..after work today I'll give it a try and let you know!
@@projesterstudio thanks!
@@projesterstudio thats a bummer, thank you very for checking it mate
Have an awesome day
Turning off vsync fixed the crashing in the level up menu for me. I've heard it doesn't work for everyone tho.
Great video! You sound like Nicholas cage!
Thank you! This made my day Haha!
😮💨. I was doing this 15/20 years ago mate...
I've been able to do the money glitch on the controller
You have to select the item and change tabs at the same time. If it worked, it'll say you have more items than the high-priced one. I was on xbox, so maybe it was different
I'm familiar with all the steps to get skorms bow EXCEPT for the day 6 thing. I've never heard of that... what does the day have to do with it?
I just freaking did this no like like a minute ago and I got it!!
Hi there’s a similar money glitch on console to do Derick & his apples
I tried the sword glitch on the newer edition but the sword one no longer works.
@@frosy1180 I agree, I don't mind long ass videos like this
Now I want to see the same video, done on console with a controller.
Im surprised bowerstone north is on there.
I will always have a softspot for this dumb game.
Will this stuff work on lost chapters on og xbox?
Just starting the video…do you have the sword of Aeons?
I literally just played Fable Anniversary 2 weeks ago and spent ~4 hours maxing out physique by exploiting the earth troll reset in Ancient Cullis Gate and the undead at Grey House. Unfortunately I don’t think most of this is going to be helpful on console, but I’m definitely going to try the Sword of Aeons exploit
Okay so this might help someone else-if you go to the Ancient Cullis gate, you might be able to get the enemies that spawn near the gate to continually respawn by walking away a short distance and walking back. Once the spawn becomes an earth troll you can grind out renown there pretty easily
i dont think ive ever died in fable lol
Woah!
You can do similar money exploit by buying apples and selling them
Ive never crashed switching tabs
I'm glad!
I seem to be the only one this happens too 😆
Weird, I've gone a whole playthrough without crashing on the skill tabs.
That is definitely a good thing! Yes!
SO for example: if your on game day 19;
(7...14...21) Twenty One is your next Sunday game day. So day 20 is when you'd be performing the ritual.
(7*3)-1=20 [OR] (7*X)-1=Y
Thanks for pointing this out!
Yes......
how do i get the mouse cursor? I don't have it in the shop. I can only use my keyboard there ( for the first Gold exploit) did they fixed it?
as i just saw, i don't have it anywhere in the game. Not even in the menu
Hey! So once in game; open your Pause Menu, head over to Options, and in the Control Options Tab make sure your Control Scheme is set to "Keyboard & Mouse". Then you should see your cursor pop-up! Hope this Helps!
Next time mention the keyboard thing sooner please. I wasted the fun parts skipping to this scene with the apples on my Xbox. Thank You!
