Fable is honestly most likely my favourite game of all time. It never gets old because the humour and charm is right up my street being British (Welsh). It's squarely in the "comfy" lit of game I play along with games such as Broken Sword, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Death Stranding, Elder Scrolls Oblivion and so on. These games are radically different, but in each I enter that comfy zone and I never get frustrated playing them.
I know what you mean. For me it's always the end of a game that gets me. Usually the credit music is so chill and it hits you right in the nostalgia. Thanks for watching!
FANTASTIC tutorial in adding quality of life to Fable; Dgvoodoo2 always helps older games! Fable and Elder Scolls Oblivion are my fav games, Im SO happy to see this game get the love it deserves. Haven't tried Anniversary..I mean its an upgrade but the colors are muddy and I dunno something about doesn't feel as charming as the OG.
I'm so happy that you enjoyed it 😎 I'd say that the best parts about Anniversary are the updated control scheme and the ease of installation. But beyond that, I'd agree with you, the original has something to it that makes it just that much more special.
i do a full playthrough of this game EVERY YEAH since i first played it almost 20 years ago , i genuiely hope the new fable game performs well enough to attract more people on this OVERLY underappreciated gem
Gotta scratch that Fable itch! I know it well lol! And I am really trying to not form any opinions about the new one. If you look on Reddit it's like everyone's gone cuckoo bananas! Speculation and hype off the charts! I just hope it feels like Fable, and I hope it does well too. It's a franchise that deserves way more recognition than it gets for sure 😎
No sweat at all! I'm glad you're digging what I'm doing home-slice 😎 Making that Fable 2 PDF took so long lol but I think it was worth it for sure, for preservation.
@@MarcusACampos it was my pleasure bro. Are you going to be playing the new fable game when it releases to see if it’s good or bad because before I buy the game I want to know if it’s worth it from a trustworthy source ?😂
Great video! Despite spending half my life on this game, I still find new things I didn't know about. So, I figured I should share some of these cool things I've learned from my nearly 1500 hours of speedrunning anniversary. Funny enough, menu manipulation is not limited to just the top item. It took years before anyone found out, but you'll notice two arrows between all the items, one below the items icons and the other above the items count "1/X." Those are not just UI elements; they will move you up and down the menu when clicked. We use it to bypass alignment limitations and max out berserk. Menu manipulating magic power gives you some weird outcomes, you will level up the multi-strike if your menu manipulate any spell into magic power, but if your menu manipulate magic power into enflame, you'll level up Speed; if you do it into force push it will level up health, and if you do it into physical shield, you'll level up accuracy. The spell force push doesn't discriminate between living and non-living targets, allowing you to build your combat multiplier easily. In any%, we use this in the arena to get enough exp to max out the rest of our stats. The Skorms bow does have some requirements. The order of importance is Alignment, sacrifices health, time of day, and day of the week. You do not need all of these, but they all play some part in getting the bow. Skorm works a lot like Avo. It's best to be neutral, close to it, or on the opposite end of their Alignment. If you're good, it is easier to get Storm Bow; if you are evil, it is easier to get the Sentinus. Speaking of the Sentinus, after making your donation, if you interact with the donation quickly enough, your donation won't go through, and you will be given the weapon and your gold back.
Amazing info, thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for when I asked for comments 😎 It's really a testament to the game and kind of a phenomena amongst all of us who play Fable I think, the whole "I still learn new things" aspect. What other game is like that? It just keeps on giving!
Fable is honestly my favourite game. Loved TES and all that but if I could play one game forever it would be Fable 2. The whole game the first one and the second feel like something else. Its still criminal we can only play on emulation Fable 2 for PC. I would get a Series S solely to play it again in its glory.
I actually purchased a modded Xbox 360 to play Fable 2 exactly how I remember it 🤣it might be a cheaper option for you than a Series S. When I tried to emulate it way back when it wasn't anywhere near stable, but I hear its come a long way now. Fable 1 is amazing but I am right there with you, the second one is just something special. I can't tell you how many time's I've played Fable 2 throughout the years, there's always something new to find.
@@MarcusACampos Thanks. I thought about a 360, but I would like a Series S, because my PC aint that awesome and its cheaper for me to get the console with gamepass for new releases too. Fable 2 is indeed an amazing experience I will never forget.
for the bowerstone north skip in TLC IIRC this has been patched on steam so the only way to pull it off is having a unpatched version of the game i.e physical disc
I was the first to pitch menu manipulation to the community like this, it was originally only used in the xp menu at the guild in speedrunning
Nice work soldier 🫡 What was your username on speedrun.com? Or were you more behind the scenes?

Ahh this game is my childhood.
Oh yeah, it's a classic 😎 This one and Fable 2, I can't tell you how many hours I've lost. And they're still fun to this day!
This was a really good video thanks man I appreciate it. Watched the whole thing and was really shocked when I saw there was less than 1k views.
I appreciate those kind words homie! And don't worry my man, you're doing your part to get it to 1k lol thank you for watching to the end 😎

Halo 2, Fable Anniversary, Oblivion, God of War, and ACT being the best games on the planet for no reason.
Man, I played Oblivion so much that my Xbox 360 killed the disc. The only solution of course being that I had to buy another damn one.

Nice, let's give it a try.
Any excuse to play Fable again is a good one in my book 😎
best single player game ever
Definitely one of the most unique games out there 😎 Every time I replay it I see something new!
Thanks for this
For sure! Glad you enjoyed it 😎
