I still can't take Yuriko's Russian voice without being trembling. Obviously that voice line was made by somebody with bad cold and moreover using some sound filter that adds even more wheezing.

In Russian version Yuriko has 2 psychokinetic bursts. One is from the F-ability and the other from her "hahahaha" voice.

Can you do voice language comparisons of red alert 2 units? Becuz aside of these cutscenes that are dub, only Korean, French & German are FULLY dubbing all units. If you don't believe then just see it yourself or the video gameplays.

Lousy Italian translation strikes again, wtf.
At 4:39 the quote is "My mind is made up" - Implying Yuriko made her choice.
However, the translation took it a step too far into literal territory, and went with "My mind is artificial" - As in, made up, built.
The voice actresses tend to be good though.

Обожаю её русскую озвучку. Очень мощно, зловеще, пробирает. Самое то исходя из её лора, особенно если считать что это оригинал, а не клон. Да и какие выкрутасы она в геймплее вытворяет, тут уж не забалуешь...

  • @BuIlDaLiBlE

Nice video! The dubs mostly managed to convey the general meaning, however the JP phrases they decided to put in the game were not given enough attention at all.
3:32 Only the last two are actually correct, the 4th one is half correct. The actual word is 許さない (yurusanai), but the first three pronounce it as "yorosenai" which is completely wrong lol.
3:42 Damn this one is cringe. Not only is the verb "to kill" is in its infinitive form here when it should be imperative (korose) but the way RU dub says it is OMEGA CRINGE, YOU DO NOT PRONOUNCE "SU" WITH "UUU" AT THE END! As a native speaker of Russian this is the definition of cringe for me. Also who is she supposed to be commanding? She does the job herself.
3:52 Same thing here (should be "usero"), the word choice is weird though as I usually hear "kiero" (disappear/vanish) instead in other media for this purpose, the word 失せる (useru) does have a meaning "to die" but I have never heard anyone use it for this purpose tbh.
4:05 The EN version is actually pretty good here, the others are either wrong or meh, it's written as "baka yarou" in romaji (EN letters) sure, but the "u" at the end is indicating that you should prolong the sound, it's not a sound by itself, so saying "u" at the end is cringe.

Теперь понятно, почему иностранцы считают русский язык и русских людей грубыми😂
Голлс Юрико на русском звучит очень угрожающе, по сравнению с остальными. Тот же Итальянский будто заигрывающий. Учитывая то, какие фразы говорит этот персонаж, русский язык, на мой взгляд, звучит выйгрышно. Хотя должна признать, на английском, итальянском и французском фразы звучат очень даже хорошо)

I find it weird because some of these localisations for German like "殺す" and "𝔣𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔟𝔱" apparently never found their into the final localized product, since I never heard them in-game, not even after trying to provoke these quotes actively.
