    It’s great you show that you check the hoses for potential leaks!!👍🏻 great review!

    Alright! Time to start forging. that was nice of them to reach out to you for this review. I see you got that steel red hot, you should have hammered it 😁

      @@stevesrt8 that's an understatement. I don't have the proper equipment to effectively do it. But propane I can tell you isn't a start unless you have money. Great for forge welding because it has to hit 3000 f°. I will be honest start with charcoal attach a fan to stoke it and that would be more than enough to practice.

      @@stevesrt8 1/8 of a millisecond is pretty short. Have to move it through the furnace fast.
      T shirt canons use compressed air to shoot a soft round thing fast. I bet a sub made of the right bread would work. The forge is open at both ends, right? Shoot the sub through it! Great party gimmick.

    Have you had a chance to see how it works with just one burner working smaller pieces? I'm going to upgrade from the one I have and I'm considering this one.

    just got this in today. will mainly use to heat rivets for hot rivetting. so if i see it right one bruner directly coupled would be best? seems they should include or mention the heat cement and the other thing u didn't do on it. and a decent assembly instructional would be great.

    • @stevesrt8
      @stevesrt8  11 місяців тому

      Yeah, I would just hook up one burner. the others can be added easily if you need them. they get pretty hot if they aren't being used. they act like chimneys. id just cover the holes with something.

      Did the spray and the cement. Tried today to see if connections are tight.... Sadly the fancy rings with yellow plastic are crap... All are leaking😢😢 so tomorrow up to the shop for decent stuff. So far not impressed by either their helpdesk or product

    Im having an issue with my regulator actually being able to connect with my propane tank (I have a standard bbq propane tank). Do you have a different tank or is there an adapter I am missing?

    Hi there. I have the same foge for some reason my 2nd burner is over heating I think the flame is starting inside the burner and not at the end. Any advice on this would be much appreciated👌👍

    • @jamesleigh1816

      I figured it out. When you run the burners they suck air in that keeps the tube cool. Any burner not running will act like a heat sink. The running burner tune is around 50 degree c. The Nome running 1 hits 170 degrees c. A normal fan blowing across the top fix the overheating if you only want to use 1 burner

  • @stephenking8335
    @stephenking8335 Рік тому

    I have been using the first burner most of the time but if I need more depth i turn the second one on. Third remove it for now. Have you had any problems with the top hose clamps falling off? No matter how much I tighten them the hose gets hot and comes loose or falls off. Very scary.

    • @stevesrt8
      @stevesrt8  Рік тому

      i haven't been using it. too stinky for inside and been too cold here. Those clamps are pretty crappy for sure. probably worth swapping out. cheers

    Why not make a side holder for the burners you don't use and hardened kale wool plugs for the holes?

    • @stevesrt8
      @stevesrt8  Рік тому

      I suppose i could just turn it on its side. might help keep the burners cooler. cheers

      it's just a little bit of dish soap in water. works good for finding leaks. If the is a leak, you will see little bubbles growing
