Get well buddy
it's one of my biggest casts to date. weighing in 14-15 pound
18 inch across, 11.5 inch wide and 1 inch thick
You can check out Jorge's channel. he does lots of welding projects

I'm not a professional.
Do at own risk.
lots of people get burned.
Lol forever to drill all those holes. 😂😂. That's cool you could pop them out before drilling. Great work as always!! Love the new CNC 🤙
very lucky the bubbles popped out. close to 3 hours drilling or something. i got to figure a better way next time. big table is a game changer. gonna need a bigger crucible soon lol. cheers
I've been playing cribbage since 83" thanks to the US Navy. Great job!!!
thanks man! Thanks for your service! it's a good way to pass some time for sure. i really enjoy it too. cheers
CRIBBAGE BOARD LOOKS THE MUTTS NUTZ..WELL WORTH THE EFFORT ..SMASHING RESULT ..CHEERS STEVE
Thanks Bro! its super unique. I really like it a lot. have to make myself one sometime lol
@@stevesrt8 you can produce anything you want.... What a talent buddy
you must have incredible patients steve with all them little holes. looks quality mate 👍🍻
took a lot longer then expected lol. the bit kept gumming up. thanks man. cheers
thats cool bet your friend will love it, feel your pain buddy that was a lot of holes to drill. sorry had to laugh when you were pouring i was thinkin that looks heavy then you said yep its heavy
it was a lot of holes. aluminum sucks. just gums up the bit. he did like it alot for sure. gonna need a partner when i start casting bigger pieces then that. cheers
Extremely well done. That’s a lot of beer cans that sacrificed their existence. 😂
lol. thanks man. cans are too valuable to melt here. 10cent each. I do manage to find a lot of aluminum scrap though. cheers
@@stevesrt8 10 cents each …. Upper or lower Michigan 🤣
@@NeverEvil1 even worse....canada. southern bc
@@stevesrt8 maybe one of the better places to be in all of Canada.
@@NeverEvil1 yes, thats true. i'm from back east originally. love it out here for sure.
A lot of work but so worth it !!! Cool factor 10 👍 Table should really help eh ?
Thanks Bill! it is so much easier cutting in one piece. saves a ton of computer work and way cleaner result. i'm going to try doing some bigger stuff this summer. cheers
Castings are always impressive that board is wicked but being an old school nuts n bolts guy who’s never been near a plasma cutter never mind converting one I’m left in awe, the minute you mentioned software I started twitching lol, good stuff 👍
Cheers Mikey! I'm not a big computer guy either. not a lot to this once you get into it. like eating an elephant....on bite at a time.
pouring like a pro!
lmao! right
I like the new table.
Thanks David. its working out ok for foam at least. mainly what i wanted it for. may get a proper one for wood someday. no rush for me though
Looking good Steve!
Thanks Man. Cheers!
The table looks awesome buddy I really like the cast as well buddy. Looks like it turned out really well. 🍻👍
thanks man. he was pretty happy to get it. good surprise. cheers
👍
cheers buddy!
What is the coating you use to put on the foam? Those turned out so much better than my uncoated lost foam castings.
its a premixed drywall plaster. i thin it down with water. compacting the sand makes a big difference aswell. really want to vibrate it. i do have a vid just on doing the coating. cheers
thats awesome. router on your crossfire too I want to do something similar
thanks man. its working out ok. not a real rigid set up so im not sure how good it would be for wood but decent enough for foam.
@@stevesrt8 Yeah I don;t thnk for wood the crossfire is strong enough I'm actually putting langmuir controls on a bigger heavier table I'm gong to watch your video now. I also do pewter casting so this might open another door for me.
@@javelinexile right on. i wasnt planning to get the crossfire pro. i have the original crossfire but it was a good deal. couldnt pass on it. still may get a wood router sometime. pewter is fun. i'm digging the casting for sure. lost foam is pretty slick
thas what I have, an original crossfire. it's been a workhorse. I'll sell t when I'm done. I bought a whole new conrol box from Langmuir, their sofware is way beter than mach 3. what do you use for software running the router?
@@javelinexile im using vectric cut2d and have a post processor to run fire control. its pretty good.
