@@goobols Not even just that. Pyro's new weapons are kind of bad compared to the banana. Running down the list, Dragon's Fury requires more effort to use for what is often pretty much no more reward than stock, and for a massive airblast penalty. The Gas Passer is kind of a joke at this point. It lets you ignite Pyros, which is cool I guess, but if you want to spread afterburn, the Scorch Shot does that with no cooldown. The Thermal Thruster has issues with how long it takes to switch back to your flamethrower. It's so bad that even Degreaser becomes hard to use with it. The Hot Hand is kind of a joke, but everyone knows that at this point. It's not exactly competing with Powerjack or the new Axtinguisher at this point.

The second banana is listed as 50% less healing and time, but it's actually 33% less healing and 66% less time
If it was half health and half time we would just use the chocolate bar as it would be superior
We would use buffalo steak sandvich as it is the clearly superior over every other heavy secondary. Then we just need the eviction notice and brass beast without ceasing to spin the minigun, and we're good to go with the most powerful loadout in tf2

Everyone back in 2017 was like “this update sucks ass, there’s too many problems. Although, they’ll most likely fix this, and what we got is cool. I wonder what will the heavy update be like. It's also worth mentioning that the Gas Passer is amazing in MvM. The Explode on Ignite upgrade lets the pyro fill the role of the Medic killer, and because you recharge it with fire damage, you'll be throwing out these things ever 5 seconds. Damage wise, you can keep up with the soldier pretty easily.

SoundSmith but you would have to be pretty close especially with the new flames, but the soldier can still shoot from a decent range and do a lot of damage and he has more consistent damage, and it takes a while for the gas thing to charge up

All they changed was the way airblast worked and how the flame hitboxes functioned.
He still plays the same way as before, but the flames are just a bit more consistent now.
@@Morshu_DarkSouls Well, yeah. Pyro's now more consistent, has more options thanks to support, movement and precision alternatives, and isn't as likely to get you flamed for playing anymore. Playing Pyro feels a lot better now, so people who previously shunned the mumble monster gave him a second chance.

the banana heals more health per second if you count recharge and you don't need to worry about wasting it
no it isn't. the dalokohs bar may only heal 100 health, but it also buffs the heavy's max health to 350, indirectly resulting in health packs healing more. the banana heals 200 hp. that's it.
Funnily enough, this update made the engie super op for the first week because all spies received a massive hot-hand bitch-slap.

@Aiden Gray yes I can agree but it is really fucking hard to get good at spy. I don't really like it because he has an Insta kill ability and usually when you get stabbed by a spy you need to remember where he stabbed you, or you'll get stabbed again, and when you're dead you just wanna get back in the fucking action you don't wanna worry about fucking spy's so yeah that's it's annoying.

You have no ranged damage
They have an interesting dynamic

Basically, Yeti Park is best played as all Pyro, Stalingrad-style. Throw yourself into the chokepoints and force your way onto the points with sheer numbers.
In other words, its the final salute to w+m1 Pyros.

I like mercenary park for one reason. It's the secret undergound room near Blu spawn. I just build a teleporter there and then put my entrance once they cap the 1st point and then now my teammates can teleport behind the enemy spawn.

Hot hand is slightly better when you're air blasting someone into a corner, but then again any other melee would do more dmg doing that, so it's still the worst melee in serious play but I like when you go on a random crit spree and get 3 slap kills. Also it makes sense that it does significantly less dmg than the other pyro melees because instead of bludgeoning you with an axe, sledgehammer or post box, pyro is slapping you instead

Yet even scream fortress maps aren’t as populated as the many Turbines or GoldRushes.
Relax, Scream Fortress is only for like 10 days. Afterwards people will go back to jungle maps. It's even a good thing, otherwise people might become tired of the Jungle contracts after the 1-2 week of nonstop jungle.
I really love this update. It brought back what made TF2 special in the first place. The balance changes like the Pocket Pistol, Bison, Rescue Ranger and the Flamethrowers itself, weapons like the Second Banana and the Dragon’s Fury, contracts that are easy to understand and are challenging to complete, taunts like the Jumping Jack and Yeti Punch, cosmetics like the Yeti Heavy set and Saxton Hat and war paints are all amazing! I won’t say it’s the best update in TF2, that goes to the Uber Update as it made the game go Free to Play which saved the game from dying out, I would say it’s probably one of the Top 10 or even Top 5 Best Updates in TF2!
Taking about the Rescue Ranger, I think another reason the Rescue Ranger got nerfed was because it was the only weapon the Engineer would use on defence as it was another way of healing your buildings which can make taking out a Sentry a pain in the arse. But now because of the nerf, I’m seeing more Engineers equipping other weapons like the Shotgun and the recently changed Panic Attack which is a breath of fresh air to see rather than seeing Rescue Ranger Engineers 24/7.
Also, 5:16 This is how the Heavy reacted when he lost the Heavy vs Pyro War.

The Heavy should have won because he really needed new weapons, the Pyro's big thing with the update was fixing a problem that the class had since launch so Valve could have easily fixed Pyros flame bug at any point since 2007

The banana actually recharges 3x as fast as the sandvich. Banana takes 10 seconds to recharge meanwhile the sandvich is 30 seconds.
Just to add, it's actually +100% recharge RATE afaik, not +50% rate or -50% time. Seems to be a fairly common mistake for game devs who write flavour text. The short recharge time might even be unintended.
2x faster is 15 seconds. 10 and 15 seconds is just a 5 seconds difference hence the slip-up.

Remember the old argument over the pyro's gender? Well, what if i told you that the pyro isn't even human? Thats right! The pyro is infact a robot in a suit built by everyone's notably dangerous texan erection. The pyro's initial purpose was to help protect the engi's buildings from spies. At least, that was the case until the pyro obtained a mind of its own. At this point, the engi knew that his beloved companion was not going to come back, so the engi decided to mass produce his latest and greatest invention. Thus creating the pyro sub classes, such as the pybro, pyroshark, lone wolf, etc.
Although there were a few that fell off into the w+m1 category, this was expected due to the system of rogue AI used within the pyro's "brain."

When I look at a 2 year old team fortress 2 video: its a modern video it was the most recent update
This update made pyro balanced and now fun to play, the war paints are really nice, but I wish that the bottle, bat, the huntsman, and fist got some war paint skins.

Not salty, just pissed at the amount of time I could have easily murdered one of those imbecil but he escaped without a sweat cause of this jetpack inexistent drawback, wich could easily be fixed by adding something like -(insert HP count of your choice here) on use. making it like a rocket/sticky that can give you good mobility at the cost of your health instead of a free rocketjumper/stickyjumper with near to no drawback.
but then again, apparently the jetpack is shit and everyone want to buff it, actualy, they want to buff every new pyro weapons, like the dragons fuckery, wich let me remind you, do +300% more dmg on burning player...this gun can set player on fire... can melt away a heavy in 1 and a half sec, I personaly tested it...am I the only one with a mind in this game?

not at all, cause if the enemy pyro can kill you with ease with is flametrower, why could you not do the same? this little game work both way you know.
