I’m looking to get a Hermann’s tortoise hatchling in my dorm as an ESA and I really want to make sure I get the enclosure right for lighting and heating lamps. I’ve never kept reptiles but I cared for some tortoises during a zoo internship and loved them
I just got a Herman's tortoise and this helped a lot
Really cool video set up. And very helpful info, keep up the good work and I hope you are doing great!

Ty for the help
70% humidity?? More like 40
Yeah facts, their from dry areas, they can handle 70 but it’s not a must or a needed humidity
I can send studies your way that show pyramiding at 40%. But this is for Hermann's specifically. Best of luck to you and your turtle
for hatchlings she is right it’s actually 70/80%
