The bureaucratic issues aren't necessarily Filoni's issue, because it is an issue which is prevalent through all of Disney's Star Wars. Every Disney project showing the New Republic reflects the same, a government which has been around for 5 years is acting like it's already grown bloated and corrupt. Disney wants us to believe, at every opportunity, that the New Republic could never have succeeded, just like the original heroes are all failures to be replaced by their own

I am currently doing a play through of Jedi Outcast on my channel DravenWaylon Gaming. The thing is those games story line was written by George Lucas. In the Jedi games it is established that there are still factions of the Empire being controlled by other factions. Most of the time by Dark Jedi. Luke and Kyle Katarn called them the remnants. The great thing in Jedi Outcast is that you see Luke's academy on Yavin 4, and how he is training new recruits of Jedi. I wish the Luke in the Outcast and Jedi Academy game was the Luke we could have gotten to see on the big screen.
No. You see, stabs are not lethal anymore. Sabine survived, Reva survived two, Grand Inquisitor survived, even an old Han Solo survived (we all know he died because the planet blew up). As shown in the finale of this show, scratches with just the tip of the lightsaber are way more deadly.
