- Ahsoka episode 3 is out and I'm a week late but I dont care. Dave Filoni continues to not have any original ideas and rips off A New Hope with the training sequence with Ahsoka and Sabine copying ObiWan and Luke training on the Millennium Falcon and the dog fight with Han Solo and Luke is just copied 1 to 1. Subscribe for my Ahsoka opinions I guess.

The next episode of Ahsoka is possibly the single worst piece of Star Wars media I’ve ever seen. And that’s saying a lot since I’ve watched Kenobi and Boba Fett.
Andrew you need a vacation or something good to review after Ashoka. You need to cleanse the pallet if it's that bad.

@@ActuallyAndrewYT dude I am on board with you and bag face on your taste in shows. I took you guy's recommendations and started watching One Piece live action. I'm 5 episodes in and I was very much enjoying the hell out of it. So I will give Andor a whirl. Plus Diego Luna is a badass Mexican actor along with Gael Garcia Bernal. if you have never seen Amores Perros I recommend it. Pulp fiction style not quite as well done but still well worth it

My issue with the stabbing is that if it's true that one can survive it and we can reason that out, why wouldn't a Sith or Jedi know it? And in knowing it, why wouldn't they just hack their enemy to shreds or keep stabbing?

About the stabing problem. It began with Kenobi and Reva. That girl servived been stabbed with a lightsaber 2 times by Veder (in the temple and dismissal).
Asoka unfortunatly is following the same trend. I think the problem is coming from Disnay and their push for more "Family friendly" shows. Thus no more limbs taken away.
The problem with that is it makes Qui-Gon Jinn the only major character to actaully die from Stabing. The others been the ones killed by Anakin in the couple of scenes from the temple.
Actually it began with The Rise of Skywalker.
It began back when the Rat had Finn survive a swipe up his spine in Farce Engorges
@@jeremyallen5974 Technically I dont count the seqels as I bearly watched them 1 time and cant remember a sceen worth watching twise. I went to check the scene you are talking about. I think Finn can be justified but just been cut with the tip. Hower full stabing defenatly no , that thing was used to cut doors and walls , yet she got a little scar out of it...

I like Anakin to but it doesn't make the story any better there is no originality they are just copy and paste from other projects with terrible dialogue Dave just can't write live action or direct it because the acting sucks no emotions the Ahsoka standing with her arms folded in every scene like she is at a photo shoot and now Ahsoka is responsible for Sabine not saving her parents and she becomes a traitor
Dave can't write for nothing which is why others had done it for TCW.
And with a robotic arm she could make some spinning Grievous moves.

The key jangling is real.
let's just look at how she is 'stabbed' with a light saber, then consider that it's a beam of frickin plasma that could easily slice through her. look at how that5 blade is moving, but the enemy makes sure to focus enough to keep it in just that one spot, even while raise her hands up. also, Sabine keeps perfectly still and doesn't move to the side or stumble with pain or anything like that. it's like she has been impaled by a spear, but a light saber is not a fricking spear. it's hotter than fire and melts blast doors. she should be on fire if teh blade is kept there for that mount of time!
Nevermind copying the Dog Fight in Episode IV. It makes no sense that Sabine would react that way! Luke had pressumably not been involved in a war, he was a farmer. Thus when he shouts "I got ONE!" to Han.... after shooting down a tie fighter, it makes sense! Why would Sabine shout exicted "I got one!" to Ahsoka if she was in the war before and is Mandalorian? Filoni doesn't even know his own characters...
fax, if filoni wanted to sabine to get harmed in her fight with shin, give her a facial scar or a limb
giving her a stab and recovering that quick from it is not only plain lazy writing, it lowers the stakes of the show (which should be hella big bcuz of Grand Admiral Thrawn returning) and gives ppl more ammunition to make fun of the SW brand under Disney

Being the late viewer I get the last comment? No. She's DEAD Her liver, lung and heart are fried. There is noone else there to treat her. She's in a DESERT! She'll be on her way to mummification in hours. Chances of survival in a Million are between Zero and Zero.
That ship took hits and NOTHING happened? WHAT? Its not possible to deflect turbo laser blasts with lightsabers. The impact of such a would blow the saber weilder away. That should have obliterated osakah. No one is going to be that fleixable in a suit designed to protect against vacum and the harshness of space. That not how space suits work even in star wars. Dont try to sell me the "force". Thats not how the force works either. Its supposed to be a discreet ability in most instances. I mean it migh tbe possible with a jedi grandmaster or sith lord but uhmm asokah aint that level. She would be at a standard level. No sith lord or jedi grandmaster would be that nuts to hop out on the hull of a ship to behave in that fashion. WTF was feloni thinking?? Not sorry at all, but if anyone thinks that is cool they themselves are not cool. Why is this sh*(* writing okay?
anyone else bothered that Disney Star Wars writers don't understand why spaceships are built in space? even in the Han Solo movie, they showed ISDs being built on the ground on Corellia. Star Wars shipyards have always been portrayed as almost exclusively being located in orbit around planets, because that's the fucking smart and logical place for them to be.
The Critical Drinker did a scientific analysis of what would happen if you got stabbed with a lightsaber, and determined you would instantly combust as the lightsaber got your flesh so hot it separated the molecules into its base elements, including oxygen, which would instantly turn your body into a pile of ash.
I can buy Reva surviving because she has the Force, and if you're angry enough, you can survive almost anything. Just ask Darth Sion. Dude mastered the art of surviving getting stabbed, he looks like someone who sleeps in a bed full of vibroblades. But with Sabine, they better have a shit ton of synthetic organs they shoved in there after she got stabbed.

Qui-Gon was a odd Jedi, he frequently ignored the council, and acted a lot like Anakin, that’s the only reason he was not on the Council himself. (Not defending the show, just saying)

Ashoka, in the animated series USED to be one of my favorite characters, but in typical Disney fashion they totally destroyed her character in live action. Like they cucked Obiwan, turned the great Luke Skywalker into a grumpy old loser and quitter, made Boba Fett a person that cared about the people of Tatooine, vs a cold blooded bounty hunter, you get the idea! Ashoka in this series believing a NON Force sensitive can be trained to be a Jedi when I'm sure she was very well educated in her YEARS as a youngling and Padawan at the Jedi temple that only people with a midichlorian count over 10 thousand minimally can use the Force. But NO "everyone has the Force" according to her now. What happened to her since Rebels season 4? Did she get a severe head injury causing brain damage?
Turbo Laser is an actual term in the Star Wars universe. Has been since A New Hope in ‘77. It does sound kinda funny, though.
AND turbolasers have always been the name of ship cannons. Ever since a New Hope.

Shin has been instructed by Balan not to kill Sabine, otherwise both could have just deflected the blaster bolts back to her, Balan wants her alive to use her for his purposes. Ahsoka has no original ideas? Balan Skol and Shin Hati quash this statement. Next.
Did you know the one special thing called chronology? That Bale ordered Shin not to kill Sabine, because she could usefull for their purpose becomes a thing primal in the next episode and was never importend or mentioned before. Balan and Shin weren't original, kind of interesting yes, but not original at all and by the way, Filony didn't know how to use them properly.
True, Shin and Balan could have been better. There is something missing in the Ahsoka series, at times it seems bland or too clean, I can't put my finger on it. The tools were there for Filoni to make an "epic" show, but he missed the opportunity. I give it around a 7'ish on the 10 scale.
