I’ve been boxing for around six months at a boxing gym. A guard can depend on some things personally I like to shift around with it but a good beginner guard is to put your gloves on your temples so when a jab or cross comes your way you can close the gap and not get hit

Probably not. But still Intense Shadowboxing for several rounds of 3 minutes until you can't really move, to see what level of endurance you're working with.
Nah, I have been playing soccer, and did track (100m & 400m) for 6 years now, and my stamina is insane, but I cant say the same for others, I do good in boxing too, because I barely get tired, and my opponent gets tired way faster than me, but it doesn't mean I am invincible, I still do run out of stamina after a long day or after boxing or other sports for a long period.
Sure just make sure to to train boxing with a sport like wrestling (similar to how Duran use to street fight with wrestling I think) and muay Thai make sure to focus on basics
