      I don't think Shame is very useful at this point actually. Maybe we should study where these things come from? I doubt that this is a thing like you're born with... it seems more like a trauma event reaction. If that's the case then he's as much the victim as his victims. Reactionary victim blaming isn't useful. We need to trace back where these violent tendencies emerge and when and try to cut it off at its source. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
      The fact that he used their rental information was incredibly Reckless and I agree he should not have done that. Beyond breach of privacy and that being very very icky though he seems to not be a dangerous maniac.

He accessed through police records for convenience, not because it was privileged information. That would be FBI and CIA records. As exposed by Edward Snowden. I’m not defending the guy, I just think people should be more aware of all of the information that is available online. It was numbers and addresses. That information is available online. I think you can take measures to scrub personal information from the internet, but it’s not necessarily easy. It just seems by the comments that people are blissfully unaware that their information is already public.

    The fact that all his "online friends" got caught eventually acting on these 'fantasies' is quite telling, and I'm sure somewhere out there someone is asking why something wasn't done to those men before it got to that point.
    Also, police typically want to "lure" you out of your home for their safety, especially when the person is known to have weapons inside, such as a fellow law enforcement agent. They don't know the layout of the home or where the weapons are, so a controlled environment, such as a hallway is safer for all involved.

      I would love for Bailey to do makeup for money! Even it's expensive, it would be worth it! 😊 I went to Menifee last weekend, and I felt like I was visiting a celebrity place - Bailey is from Menifee. I wonder if she still has a family there and visits sometimes

    This is such a thought-provoking situation - on freedom of expression, where to draw the line on if a person is a danger to society, and where dark fetishes come from.
    All I can say is I hope him going through this makes sure he never escalates the fantasies into something tragic, and may his wife heal from this terrible and traumatizing experience.

    • @sashapalma2033
      @sashapalma2033 4 місяці тому +12

      He had already escalated the fantasies by violating their privacies and contacting others to kidnap these women. I HIGHLY doubt it won't escalate to real-life as he has no control over his desires. And I can't believe the wife took him back having an entire child to protect. Such a disappointing case.
