    I lost a child April 7, 2022…….. it tore a hole in the fabric of our family…. Afterwards leading to 2 other deaths….that one day in April destroyed everything I thought was beautiful in this world…… you don’t know how you will react….. I was told I screamed for hours on and off after I fell to my knees…. But I think I blocked a lot of that day out ….. I don’t remember much just the screaming on the other end of the phone telling me she was dead. ….. so if you HAVENT lost a child please don’t comment about how you think people will react!!! No one should feel that pain…… it’s a pain that stays with you 24 hours a day 7 days a week and even when I’m sleeping it’s about her…….

    Not much has changed… I just recently saw the bundle from my court case… a police man who visited me to take a statement about the harassment I was receiving from my ex had put that he suspected I was making it all up to lay the groundwork so I could get full custody in court. Oh girl, I am so sorry. You're right that not much has changed. I'm in a different but not dissimilar situation right now.
      When I went to the police, I could feel all the judgment. I didn't file an official report because I didn't want to be accused of accusing the father of my child for custody reasons. Now, I am about to defend myself in court for "contempt of court" because the narcissist is accusing me of not following the court order. He's listed all the things he's done and accused me of them by taking statements out of context.
      We need strength! Sometimes justice isn't served. I hope it will be, for you, me, and everyone. The courts have a lot to learn and I'm trying to embrace this as my chance to teach them- otherwise it is so depressing and sickening.

So I think that focusing on the fact that she did not cry is rediculous. She was judged and found guilty even before she saw the inside of the Court. I feel the husband should have been investigated more. His actions are just suspicious.

    • @sleeplessinscotland9394
      @sleeplessinscotland9394 9 місяців тому +45

      I genuinely think if something happened to my children I would absolutely freeze - it’s my go to trauma response, my mind goes in a million different directions at once and it cause me to shut down as I can’t process it all at once and the outpouring of emotion comes later. It’s a perfectly normal and valid human response - traumatic events take time to process whether your reaction is to instantly burst into tears, anger or complete silence at the overwhelming emotions. I genuinely don’t think we should judge others based on initial reactions just because the appearance is not what we expect - or jump to conclusions off of it. The detectives in this case are disgraceful. Even if she was guilty they didn’t prove anything but peoples bias towards women living their life how they want. She very well could’ve been guilty but not based on the evidence provided and the lack of effort to find justice for these kids whether it was her or someone else is disgusting.

Because kidnapping more than one child at the same time, flailing, kicking, biting.. even babysitters experience a tantrum kid. Not easy. Dad was noticed peering into the kids window. My kids were missing, thank goodness they were reunited with me fairly quickly, but I went into an almost robotic state. I didn't cry. I kept stating where they were missing from, what they were wearing, the fact that they would never willingly wander off, and what their names were. This was at Six Flags in California and I was so robotic that the head of security started to think they weren't really missing. A little boy ran up to me because he'd recognized the robotic description I'd been repeating like a script. He said he knew where they were, took me to them, and I still didn't cry. We were about 30 feet apart and I couldn't even walk or run to them, my legs stopped working. I called them and they ran to me and THEN I broke down into tears. Everyone handles situations differently. 😔

    I’ve gone into shock a couple times and it’s like your brain doesn’t understand what is happening. When the police knocked on my door to tell me my soon to be ex husband 32:55 passed away, the only thing I could do is laundry. I didn’t know what to do. It didn’t hit me until many hours later and I was a hot mess.

    • @LynnieKoko
      @LynnieKoko 9 місяців тому +50

      This! I always thought of shock as an innate self-defense mechanism.
      The first sudden death of a loved one I experienced was at 18 years old. Lost one of my best friends to gun violence. I had a mix of shock and denial and went to the hospital to wait for him to get out of surgery… There was no surgery. My brain just made it up, despite others telling me on site that he had already passed. It took over an hour for it to actually settle with me. Actually, hearing his mom tell me to go home was what sort of snapped me into reality.
      I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s an awful thing. ❤️

      Honestly, if something happened to my kids I think I would shut down - it’s my go to response for trauma and takes my brain a while to catch up - I totally understand someone’s lack of initial reaction as your brain goes in a million different directions at once and then the outpouring of emotion once the truth sets in. Of course people react in different ways but freezing is an absolutely normal human response!

    Thank you for telling us when you're having a bad makeup day. Because when I have them, I straight up cry and have a breakdown tbh. And your makeup looks bomb. So like, maybe my makeup looks bomb to my invisible audience. ❤

    The father definitely did it, why was he seen outside their window, especially as it seems the kids were taken from the bedroom out of the window, I think he knocked on the window to wake them up and got one of them to open they window that’s why Alice heard the noise, I think he seized missy by the throat and strangled her to silence her and took his son still alive, he probably had a female friend or lover help him, I think he did it because he knew that the court would award custody to Alice, if they had dusted the the window frame for finger prints they would have found his and maybe the female friends prints, also why was there no shoe prints/impressions taken from outside the window. Both kids should have been properly analysed, missy was strangled could they have taken measurements from both Alice’s hands and Edmunds hands and compared that to size of hand/hands that strangled her.

      @@adeliecn1763 ohhh yea Bailey did say that, if it was the pjs that were used they would have had to been removed from missy, which is disturbing in itself, the dad was known for exposing himself to kids who knows what he was capable of.

    I lost my new born baby at the hospital and when he was pronounced dead, I didn't cry. I was in shock.. until I was left alone. That's when it all came out. When family came to visit or nurses and doctors walked in, I was just.. emotionless. So everyone reacts to loss differently.
