I LOVE my OLED Switch! Honestly, even though it is so much less powerful than my PS5, I am still quite impressed with how good the first party games look. Can't wait for Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4! Also that OLED panel is just gorgeous! Huge upgrade over the LCD panel on the older model, and makes gaming on the go so much better.

I love my OLED Switch. The remasters of 2D classic JRPG's and even some of the more recent games like Persona 5 look amazing on it. I use it docked on my TV, at my desk and also portably when traveling. It's made my last couple of flights a breeze.
I think you nailed the reason why I love the Switch after not owning any Nintendo consoles: Small spurts of gaming. I have my pride and joy PC but with 4 hours of free time usually I just opt to lay on the couch and my gaming PC really only gets played 1-2 times a week.
I started off with Super Mario Odyssey when I got my Switch Lite in 2019. Now I got an OLED Switch and I’m probably not going back to the Lite. But yeah Odyssey was my very first Switch game.

Oof, this video has me rethinking the white model again. Although I have a Day 1 Switch, I decided I wanted to get an OLED model. I've managed to preorder the Zelda one, but I just love that clean white dock and those Joy-Con. It also saves me €50. Huge Zelda fan, love the gold Joy-Con and the OLED backside with the circles, just not sold on that busy dock yet. White is just sooooo clean. My minimalistic heart wants the white model, My Zelda fan heart wants the ToTK model. Just a coupled more weeks to reconsider!
I feel you! I am more than happy with the minimalistic white design. It is so sleek and one of the best looking handhelds. The Zelda one may have better resell value but either way I think you will be happy with your purchase!

The white OLED is my first Switch. A friend of mine got the first Switch when it first came out and I hated the neon blue and red. I was so happy when I saw that a white Switch was available and I got it. I don't love the gold Zelda model though. I don't mind the dock, but the gold joy con with green on it is just... not very pretty imho

my son also beats me in majority of the time while playing super smash bros... I never quite figure out the optimal player and the moves needed to win 😅 but then my son enjoyed every time he beats me... 😂 the only thing I don't like is how the screen moves a lot and I often confused where my player is and what direction it faces... dang
i bought OLED switch Zelda special edition, cant wait to get it soon. BUT, i still cant over to the fact that switch break easily... my switch lite screen having issues and needed replacement.. and its quite expensive to fix.. hence i buy a new switch instead. just about 3 years, and it breaks... my 3DS XL lasts way longer before it decide to give up (screen issue too, probably ribbon). the disappointing part is the save file part... u cant just move save files from one console to another, and no backup (offline) too. luckily switch lite screen dying slowly and not decide to go black entirely at once, have to subscribe to nintendo online, perform backup... whew... as for ACNH save file... i hope my switch lite wont just die before i transfer my island to new switch

It doesn't bend or warps, not even the original, the only problem the oled has is that it makes some Grey colors look green and trust me that is annoying the problem is call green tint issue, so you can google the issue and know how it looks like.
Nintendo is doing so well after Valve offered them the Steam deck. They need to tweek it a little bit and that's it, perfectly capable to run games as PS5 and Series X in Performance mode and that's it. It will crush any competition. Seriously.

🤣 ah the age ol' question now what indeed for me while I love the switch OLED as a whole I just personally think it was a necessary upgrade see what they could have done was make the screen bigger as always improve the kickstand but keep the screen the same I mean to be honest I don't think I'd notice a difference between the OLED and regular model or the og one as I like to call it because launch day anyways you know someone I know had an oled himself and I had to setup 1 thing for him and not even he could have told you or me the difference
