Hey you forgot to make soldier of godrick #1
#66*
I’m not gonna lie dude watching this your jokes and way of talking is funny your friends must be happy ima follow
I think reúnala should be lower I’ve beaten the game and she was by far the easiest main boss
Hey I think mimic tear should be lowered because you can go in naked and just equip everything after
“I hate when bosses are easy but they keep killing you” so relatable
I'm looking at you, Genichiro.

😭😭😭😭RENNALAAAAA!! I WANT TO GO TO SLEEEEEP!!😭😭😭
It’s crazy how big Elden Ring is. He listed 70 bosses and he even left some unique ones out.
There are 80 boses
By far the hardest is Melina.
The queen of rot is 100% the hardest boss. And think in total 178 boss encounters in elden ring
@@cchen-wq2nm so many boses! How many bosses are there?
There's 90 I believe, knowing this game there is probably 180😂
For black knife assasins there is a special torch you can buy that gives you the ability to see them when held. Your definitely going to need this if you plan to go to the halig tree.
Where can u get it?
@@db.676 Sentry torch, and you can buy it from the merchant on the outer wall of Leyndell
Knowing what you're indicating, you can ignore that enemy entirely. There's only one time he'll go for you, and (kinda spoilers) you can do that last, or just force it and die, the ones you light are saved
I just used Death's Poker and planted a wall of flames on the ground while they walked through it lol, I found them by their footsteps.
The hard part were those stupid triple archers, I chipped at them with an unleveled bow until I was able to walk past them without them seeing me.
I didnt use it, I just lit the altars one by one. Every time I lit one, I would die, and then dk the next one, and it worked
Tell me you didnt find the Secret Medallion, without TELLING me that you didnt find the secret medallion.
What?
@@a.r.zstudios3149 Malenia 🤭
Tell me you didnt see part 2 without telling me you didnt see part 2
He did, because he mentioned the duplicating tree sentinel. Or he looked it up, but he would’ve seen malenia in that case.
Malenia, Blade of Miquella is the most difficult imo especially if you've been using summons a lot. Basically doubles the chances for her to regain health. Then the second stage adds scarlet rot. Phew.
?????????? what are u saying shes one of the easiest what makes her hard is that 3 slash combo she does to you cuz u cant dodge that combo but thats it. all and all she feels like a cheap boss and has 1 mechanic that makes her hard dark souls 3 sekiro and bloodborne does it 2000000000000000000 times better
She took me 8 hours🥲😂such a fun fight tho, every time i died i knew what i did wrong, she forces you to be perfect
i am malenia, blade of miquella
Defeated her on my 2nd try. Last boss was the hardest for me
@@dakkaza took me like 2 hours but the final one took me 7
Some of the hardest bosses on this list I beat in one or two tries and some of the easiest had me stuck for hours. It really just depends on your build and your stubbornness of refusing to swap your build
Having a versatile build really helps, my friend is playing a frostmage and we have been similar levels troughout the whole game. Some bosses i got stuck at he did first try and me the other way around. I've been rocking a bleedbuild since i started playing and most bosses have been pretty ok (fuck radahn tho really, made me put some points in faith and cheesing him with rotten breath)
That's just a from software thing. I somehow first tried ornstein and smough in ds1, but I died like 10 times to the gaping dragon...
@@McBroBlaster I beat radhan at lvl 40 with the flail. Git gud.
Facts. Its hilarious that he struggled on some bosses I fought with ease. But some of his easy bosses took 4+ hours for me to finally beat.
I’ve just been running a Havel 2.0 build: Bull-goat set, Fingerprint shield, and Greatsword. Sure it sucks agains some bosses and I have like 30 Larval tears that I could use to respec at anytime, but I’m no coward
Your hilarious commentary, paired with straightforward explanations of how to battle these beasts earned you my like and sub!! Already addicted!!

Same here. Just sub.
Agreed
In a poison swamp in the south west of liurnia of the lakes, there is a town called village of the albinaurics. In it you can access a boss called the omen killer and an npc which gives you the other half of medallion that you can get after beating commander Niall. This medallion will lead you to another horseback boss and what is the true hardest boss in the game, Malenia, blade of Miquella. Hope this helps with your boss hunt if you haven’t already figured it out.
I recently faced her and I thought: "whoa! can't be that easy" That was her first phase only...
My trusty Mimic 10 and myself will have to have a better plan ie not stay inside her massive aoe slash. I did remember getting her to 50% at that second phase so I know she's beateable.
Man, that mimic saved my Elden butt more than once, real top-tier summon helper!
@@amazingdanyYeah some spirit summons are crazy good almost too good
@@daniels7717 I started a brand new game on a spellcaster build and wow! So much fun spamming sorcery at a safer distance! That Spiral Shard is seriously OP!
The 2-skeleton crew summon is very respectable for distraction and they can resurrect!
@@amazingdanyI beated Malenia just today and after I got the magic ice sword from Ranni, it was really easy. PS: Her weakpoint is frost

I love how depending on your build, your personal list could be completely different
SAME DUDE!! like as an astrologer the list is greatly different, the red wolf was really easy but like erd trees are just weirdly difficult, same with godrick and loretta they were both quite easy but there are some bosses that u just die to. Pretty cool aspect of the game imo where different classes just dominate bosses and lose terribly to others.
@@peterwheeldon4545 I beat Maliketh in 8 hours but smh beaten Malenia in 3 probably because I was way underlevelled for Maliketh
@@seifyasser2225 I beat her at 1 try, because she's so incredible weak to bleed an fire. Mhogs spear wrecks her in less than 15s.
yet no matter what build Melania is a fucking pain in the ass.
@@muuhnkin4611 I beat her in 5-6 tries I wasn't using a really good weapon at the time but it's whatever I got a better one and kept knocking down the real problem started with her rot flower
I’ve seen this before but come back to it often. Your style of humor during these fights is great, even if some of my experiences were different. Thank you for quality content; I have now subscribed.
The death ritual bird was the one that pissed me off the most, until I changed my build to a tank boss killer. Full radahn armor, death ritual spear, blasphemous sword and a eclipse crest greatshield. Great build for fighting large bosses that have long windups, and the takers flames for some heals.
do you know what weapon he’s using because i want to get it
@@awsshafez7368 at what time? In the video, he uses quite a few.
For the angry death rite birb, i use holy bonk
I would say the list is accurate except it misses a couple huge bosses: Mohg and Malenia. Mohg in his Lord of Blood phase has some absolutely bullshit magic attacks that drove me insane. But the biggest injustice here is neglecting the true hardest boss of the game: Malenia. The Internet struggled immensely with the whole game, but then found out about Malenia and were thrown into chaos. The first phase has some of the most difficult sword maneuvers to dodge, and even if you manage to beat phase one, Malenia’s like a DBZ character taking off the weighted cape or some shit and suddenly they’re god. This chick goes through some cocoon bullshit and now she’s got giant wings and a desire for murder. As you’re lamenting that there’s a phase 2, she dive bombs into you like a scarlet rot nuke and you’re rage breaking your controller over your knee because now 9 hours of work has been undone by one shitty flower.
You forgot to mention that Malenia ALSO has self heal even on block for every hit
malenia isnt as difficult compared to the black blade lion man imo (although I cheesed tf out of her). I got her to half in her 2nd phase on my 2nd and 3rd tries and got annoyed bc she kept spamming that dumb ash of war. I proceeded to use a summon and spam the fuck out of rivers of blood and did it first try.
I think it depends on your current setup a ton bc I was doing really well chipping away hp with nagakiba light attacks and bloodhounds step on my first few attempts. I feel like she would be a pain in the ass for sorcerers and big weapon chads
I love how In this game everyone has their worst boss for me it’s easily godfrey (mainly second phase only) but I beat both melania and black blade with not Much trouble
Swarm of flies effs up malenias 2nd phase. But i only did that after dying to her 30 times lol. She is def hardest boss tho
Mohgwyn* is the lord of blood, mohg is the omen. Yes there is a separate boss named mohg way beneath leyndell capital
You gotta remake this Albino when you find the other bosses like Malenia and Mohg. Love the ranking
Bro, Fuck Mohg. Especially when he ascends and gets his red wings.
Malenia was by far the hardest boss in the game for me. If only she didn’t heal every time she does damage to you or your summons.
@@nathan6sic6 I’m still on her. I can get through the first phase pretty easy but the second pushes my shit in every single time. And that jumping multi slash attack is nightmare fuel
@@seanwesley2034 I feel for you man, it’s a rough fight, I found her the easiest on my 4th playthrough with an arcane build and you can spam her with swarm of flies for second phase when she’s in the flower attack, it makes the second phase pretty trivial if you can bait that move two times in a row.. hope that helps.
For Mohg, I didn't find him that tough. But that's helped by 2 things: 1) I spent almost 2 hours on the other Mohg, severely underlevelled and without an actual "build".
And 2) I luckily found the tear that helps with him early, and I knew to use it in his fight from reading it. (Though I forgot to apply it the first time lol).
So when I got to him, I only really had to worry about the phase 2 moveset, cuz I had the other stuff down from the other Mohg. And with the tear to stop the attack(??), that starts phase 2, from being an issue; he only took about 12 attempts solo.
Malenia though....
As far as the black knife goes, there is a torch that was designed to counter them. If you read its description it says it reveals invisible people, and it actually does work
You might know this by now but both Godskins can be put to sleep faster than a serial killer on death row (one pot will do it), and the sentry torch lets you see the Black Knife Assassin, even if you equip it off-hand. Anyways good video, I like how it gets progressively funnier as it goes on. Well done.
Also using my Mimic Tear summon to infinitely stun-lock a boss as huge as Rykard with two Serpent Hunters is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in gaming. We just annihilated him while he stood there like a punching bag.
"This dude is more determined to get a hug than an aunt at a family reunion"
Everyone has that one aunt lmao, very accurate

The crucible knight description was so on point lmao
My hardest boss for my first completion after Malenia, no joke, was the Death Bird next to Raya Lucaria. I died an embarrassing number of times to the frostfire damage from the massive AoE, with the added frustration of having to rest and move forward to night between each attempt. Finally learned you're supposed to move behind the Death Bird for the big explosion.
One of those bosses I got lucky on, but I feel like if I hadn't beaten it when I did it could have taken another dozen tries.
@@ArchibaldClumpy yeah its ai for putting out surtain attacks and variations of attacks is weird.
What about the one before castle Sol?
Yes, I died like four times in a row at lvl 160 to the blackfire AoE that melts your health away like it’s nothing.
My hardest boss is that fking battlemage whatever in one of the ufo looking portal things. Ofc you can overlevel it but that's not even fun
Just to mention, you can equip the sentry's torch to make the invisible assassin, visible
That’s neat
No SHIT?! I’m stuck on that. THANK YOU 🙏🏼
Based on where you get the torch and where that boss is I think they meant for you to use the water to do the fight. Using the torch just takes away the challenge and makes them like any other assassin
I used my wolves ash and swung wherever they were aggrod to like they were bloodhounds on the scent. Managed to beat the boss in 3 tries (first time I didn't use the strat second time I was just dumb)
@@fluidic756 then what’s the point of the sentry torch

Awesome vid. I just beat renalla and am exploring sofria now. There’s like three bosses I’ve fought that weren’t in here. Crazy how many bosses this game has
It's hilarious you missed the hardest one :) - Malenia, blade of Miquella. Her area is quite secret, so she is definitely miss-able and it is understandable, but no difficulty ranking of Elden ring or FromSoft is complete without her. Do yourself a favour and read how to reach her, you'll discover new peaks of rage :)
For me she was the hardest of all FromSoft games by the way. This is from a no summoning/spirit ashes and only melee point of view of course.
Oh, there's also the Trio ROTTEN Crystalians. Man.. good times. If you hate duos, wait for when you find this one. It's hidden in Caelid behind some graveyard
She's absolutely crazy. Even if you fighting her with summons, she is way harder than any other boss solo.

“Mimic tear is almost dead by the time I get through Radagon”
I felt that 😭 That’s why I had to clutch up for the first phase and summon him in the second one.
Oh boy. You NEED to fight Malenia. She will swipe that hardest boss spot no problem.
thats what i was thinking lmfao
No kidding, every other boss took me under 20 tries. Malenia took me 38 + a respec and summons
Was wondering where Malenia was on this list lol
Pure artificial difficulty, she's really easy to dodge and can be parried and staggered.
It's just RNG.
If she does her bullshit attack and you're too close or in a recovery animation you're dead.
When Fromsoft will patch her and make her an enjoyable boss fight she'll be way easier.
youre bad
Maliketh The Black Blade's second phase attacks look really cool, especially that ground stab with all the blood energy slices or whatever it is lol
I think I got rather lucky with him, well given that I farmed myself up to lvl 150 before going in there, he didnt do this large AOE shit at all. Maybe like once. In his air slashes I stood behind the pillars and rolled back once when he charged, then in his ground attacks he is open after 2 slahes. I just repeated that. Grimded him down that way. My mimic pretty much solo killed his first half, tho insta died in 2nd.
The first phase is a joke with a decent shield, but the second is really hard at first even if u can bait the aoe explosion instead of the op red slashes by rolling towards him when he does the big jump attack and it gives like 3-4 free sword hit every time
As mage it was literally cheese and killed him in my first try
how do i get to fight him tho

16:31 oml this is true, every time I tried healing against margit he immediately used any and all attacks that will reach you
This guy is legitimately funny. Cleverly so. This whole video is worth a second watch because you will absolutely catch jokes you missed the first time.
It's scripted of course, but his flow is on point. I'm only in the first 4:40 and his banter is some of the funniest I've seen on youtube. I clicked on this thumbnail thinking it was purposefully made to look bad and I'm glad I was right. This one is going in a saved folder for some re-watches.
@@iLL_WiLL_ It's the script writing that I find the most impressive for sure.
So glad to see Fallingstar Beast so high on someone elses list. It felt like that thing was just a storm of deceptively huge hitboxes. My best trick, lightning spear always put me in range to be blasted by him for huge damage. Also, the fact he regularly hits you on the ground so sometimes if he knocks you down youre just dead.
Tbh I kinda violated both of them so I wouldn’t know
Ez boss. Bait charge rang attack perma stunned.

19:20 You can actually make the boss visible. You just need to buy the torch sold by the merchant in the capital outskirts. Equipping the torch in the bossfight will make him visible.
^^^^^
That would’ve been nice to know earlier. At least future playthroughs oughta be less painful now.
Thank you so much man. I was dreading coming back to fight him again even though I'm overleveled now.
You have to be joking I beat all of these and ran through those invisible enemies… I didn’t realize I would be able to see them
@@RyanChavez-Higel Same... That albanauric village gave me paranoia everytime I thought I heard footsteps in the snow.
Malenia the Rot Goddess is one of the hardest bosses in all of souls in my opinion. She causes scarlet rot, heals off dmg and does a skill that’s near impossible to completely dodge unless your far away from her and that’s just her first phase. Her second phase is almost the same but can summon these rot phantoms that reach across the map whilst she’s in the air and is hard to dodge.
Yeah she has one or two attacks that one shot me, other than that, I’m able to constantly knock her down the the sword of night and flame blast and drain her HP
@@TB-zv6qd mimic is the only way to beat her its so fucking broken. Plus using the sword of night and flame makes it an easy fight.
@@TB-zv6qd well it's not just mimic tear. Summons just destroy bosses that can be staggered. If she can't be staggered I'm sure she would be one of, if not the hardest boss of all time in any game (except the one shot artificial difficulty ones obviously)
I agree, by far the biggest fuckery. And I've killed every boss in every game solo.
@@TB-zv6qd You did it with mimic so... Can't say anything dude
For radahn, his attacks are so scary so you'll feel like you have to stay on torrent but they're so easy to dodge. If you just get the summons in and go to hit him, he dies so fast. Only use torrent when he starts raining arrows down and when he flies up in the air. If you can get behind him and learn the dodge times, it's a free boss fight.
frl he only took me like 20 mins to defeat
Stay on torrent, summon when signs come up throw kukris and other bleed throwables/ammo if you don't have stuff with scarlet rot, pretty easy if you get into your rhythm, i think the hardest part was distinguishing the pointless messages other ppl have put on the battlefield from the summon signs, yes they are a different colour but if you are frantically looking while dodging Radahn, the messages get annoying and distracting fast
15:30 I like how he said ohhh to represent all of our reactions to finding out what grafting means
Godfrey the Elden lord changes form, from lord to warrior. His last hope in winning the battle he removes all honour he had and fights with no rules.

All black knives are women fyi
Use bloody slash ash with uchigatana and learn his moves and it makes the fight much easier. I struggled on that one alot too
You mean She. All the Black Knife Assassins are women.
I struggled with him as well! Definitely one of the hardest for me
Bloodhound step with dual katanas made that fight easier but I agree his ashes are the best in the game that I’ve found
As a new elden ring player ur content is very useful and amazing keep it up
I just wanted a good boss list but you turned out to be hilarious too so nice job dude
Mohg and Malenia two bosses left off this list were the hardest for me. Mohg is just absolutely insane. And malenia doesnt need a description we all know what shenanigans she likes to pull.
malennia is undoable without ashes for myself :')
Mohg becomes easy when add a particular crystal tear on physics just to counter his special ability
I was sooooo over-leveled for mogh. I first tried him with blood katanas. I want to play against him again at a normal level. He died before doing any attacks in the 2nd phase. Just the thing where he counted down.

Here's a tip for the Black Knife Assassin: if you summon a Ashes, they will track the assassin and keep lighting him up. They see through the invisibility, so just watch where they attack and do the same. The Mimic Tear is busted against that dude, and everything else in the game.
Or just use the sentry torch...it makes all the black knife assassins become visible...I usually put it in my left hand then 2 hand my main weapon...

Shes like lady maria on crack. Shes also the only boss in the game Ive seen that sidesteps projectiles. So you cant even really cheese her. Of course theres ways to make the fight more manageable. But Orphan is also parryable so Id say if you're good at parrying Orphan can be alot easier than malenia.
This game is a constant state of “I don’t think I should be here.”
That was definitely the case when I was trying to Radahn at level 50 xD

Hi 40PM
It's actually a ring game.
ive never played but since i cheesed margit i forced my self to beat godrick at level 22 with a level 4 sword
anyone who is just starting souls game should NOT watch any guide etc. you are robbing yourself of unique experience of finding stuff on your own
Try Dark souls 3 and Demon Souls.
Jesus Christ I love your commentary, instant sub
This is all gold! 🤣🤣🤣 great commentary fella
Your advice with the godfrey spirit is exactly what i tell everyone who freaks out about my habit of not healing right away. Just stay in your dodge pattern and heal in the next window. Cant tell you how much of a change that made since i started doing that in souls games
he was ridiculously easy
Artorias from dark souls 1 teaches you this also. Some of the hardest bosses are the ones who hone on you with combos preventing you from spam healing.
Oh man. Malenia, Blade of Miquella is far and away the most difficult boss in this game. No other boss in this ranking really compares.
It would seem you didn't really find the Haligtree location since you're missing their bosses.
She can be stuned so meh and bleed frost triggers quicker on her so you can really rush her to do crazy damage, the slash charged atack is crazy tho
Malenia has a lot of weaknesses but less opportunities to mess up. Her heal can changes the tide of battle and fast af attacks can instantly kill you but at the same time you can use bleed, frostbite and stagger to try and cheese your way through.
@Prospect i think is like 2 rolls back then roll trough her at her 3rd charge from what ive played while helping others, btw yeah they all die lol
@Prospect I still found her harder than the other demigods tbh and you aren’t joking about helping people with her. It’s always a gamble the first flurry she targets them with like are they gonna make it? Or am I going to have to sit through a load screen? If they can survive the flurry the chances of beating her increase by so much at least until phase 2.
@Prospect I went in with a lot of stamina so I just gave up trying and failing to dodge and let her regen on my shield. Only FromSoftware would give a boss a 'vampire' effect that triggers even when they don't hurt you.
Dude that Flex with no damaging the Crucible Knight is goals. I entered his evergaol once and just ran from him till I died, picked up my runes and haven't been back in the last 60+ hours I've played this game. Well done.

Two of your jokes caught me off guard and made me laugh 🤣 dope video
Tip for the elden beast: give your mimic tear the erdtree heal and it will never die
Tip for Elden Beast (and every other boss in the game): Don't use Mimic Tear, use the Black Knife Tiche.
Tiche is by far the most op spirit ash in the game.
It is improbable that any build you make for the Mimic Tear after the nerf to damage will do any better than the Tiche.
@@tia8580 My reasoning for using the mimic tear for the elden beast is because he can use erdtree heal. I made him tank all the damage while i deal damage. Works way better than black knife tiche
It simply does not work better than the black knife tiche considering the tiche does a black flame attack which does 20% of it's hp per hit. If you actually play well then the beast will be dead way before the tiche could die and in a much more timely fashion than using a low damage mimic tear, giving more chance for the player to die due to a longer fight.
@@tia8580 it took me 4 minutes to beat radagon and the elden beast. The mimic tear works great and is only low damage if your build is complete garbage

Apparently I'm not crazy and it doesn't mean I suck that Maliketh was kicking my arse over and over! Also, Malenia may just be the first truly BS boss in the Fromsoft lineup. Yeah, I did eventually get her, but it didn't feel like a victory. It felt like I managed to survive by the skin o' my teeth! I'm not ashamed to say I was rocking the Dark Moon Sword either! Though to be fair, I did fight and conquer every single boss without using spirit ashes even once, so I feel justified! It's too bad too, since I actually really like her design and her moveset looks very cool...plus she ain't bad looking for being scarlet rotted through and through...
royal rat authority from DS2
Ggs bro!
Love the commentary.. very funny 😆
Malenia took me hours, no other boss even took me near of half the time i needed for her, the eldian beast for example is really easy i think, the only thing which made it hard, was his spam homing attack halfway through in my opinion... when i survived it, i had my kill.... and those 2 back to back took my like 1/8 the time of Malenia?
I have a wild theory that they designed the elden beast to be fought on horseback and decided not to later, cause goddamn the hardest part about it is trying to catch that motherfucker.
in my oppinion elden beast is incredibly rng based. the fight can get stupidly difficult if not impossible if it chooses to chain up certain attacks after another
She took up my whole Sunday, and most of it was getting stuff to prep for her cause she was tearing me a new one all Saturday.
It's able to use homing attack at start of fight too. Happened to a friend of mine.
Well I mean can u help me fight the Elden beast
This was one of the most entertaining UA-cam videos I have seen in ages. Your commentary is exceptional and hilarious. Thanks.
As well as watching him getting hit from every attack from the easiest bosses
I just beat maliketh the black blade after about 2 and a half hours of attempts and I'm so relieved to see he put it in the top spot
Really funny video. Would love your thoughts on Alecto
Kinda disappointed Mohg Lord of Blood isn’t here but he is definitely well hidden so it makes sense
That boss fucked me up, I was underleveled, so I’d get one shotted by everything there. Ended up going naked to maximize i frames
I beat Mohg on my first attempt at level 90…
It's funny how he can be completely cheesed too.
@@coolpeeper1269 Yeah I saw that after I beat him. Kinda felt my skill went to waste when I could have just done that and used the scarab and a fowl foot to get many more runes.
Maybe I was over leveled for him. Because I fought him, and was trying to fight it like a normal end game boss. And I got one shot from something I didnt understand.
So I went back in with my bleed katanas and killed him in less than a min. Still don't know what his major mechanic was. All I know is he didn't do that much damage and you can burn him down
Once available, you can ask Merchant Kale at the Church of Elleh about the howling which he’ll explain and give you a new emote to use at the Mistwood ruins. Once you do that you’ll meet Blaidd and he’ll ask you to help him fight Bloodhound Knight Darriwil and that allows you to summon Blaidd for the fight. Makes it a lot easier early game.
I was doing a jar-related items only build and he was practically essential for that fight early game for me. He practically solos the boss himself
@@grayprincezote57preceptsag51 Yeah he makes it 10x easier. I tried so many times to beat Dariwil and couldn’t came back after I found out about Blaidd and he did most the work
Where is the summons for him? I can't find it's location I've already talked to him
@@Ranma0 you have to go into the gaol first and then it will be on the ground
Loved the video but would have liked to see him review the other bosses.
Thanks for the info and laughs bud
13:35 its either a front cone or front semi-circle. The back doesn't get any of the splashes, so its actually a safe damage window if you manage to dodge behind him.
yeah that was my strategy, just roll off to the side as it falls and you get a free heavy attack. Very good for breaking its stance
thank you, never knew
For #48 little tip here if you summon a spirit summon for this fight the spirit is largely able to sense the boss even when they are invisible so all you have to do is pay close attention to where their focus is and its not perfect but you do get a general sense of where the boss is. I used knight Engvall for this fight and with his big sweeping attacks he took care of most of the fight and I got hits in when I could.
this video was more entertaining than I expected it to be. I just clicked to see a simple boss ranking, but didn't expect to laugh at each presentation of each boss, didn't expect to laugh at all really
Fire Giant was my bane in this game, so much so I started again and tried to not miss anything leading up to it.
Dude, thank you! You made it quick, funny, well-edited/recorded, and immensely entertaining! Liked and subscribed!
Great video! Good amount of content and I can’t imagine this was easy to put together
Your humor is fantastic
For anyone that's stuck in volcano manor because they got warped there, you can jump to the nearby building right by where you got teleported in.
From what I've made it to so far I have to agree Malekith is the hardest thus far. As far as quality though he quickly became my new favorite in the franchise. Took me about 20ish tries to get him but I enjoyed every single attempt.
I beat him on my first try and all i was using was the bloodhounds fang
i think the only reason i beat him was my inner bloodborne hunter deemed it so
@@rykervt9640 My first go at him was a dex/lightning build and my main trouble was just hitting him. I was also running a dual hammers build at the same time and with that character I wiped the floor with him. Still my favorite fight in the game. I have to agree with almost everyone and say Malenia is the hardest. I actually can't even say I enjoyed that fight to be honest.
I have never disagreed more with a take than "Maliketh is the hardest boss in elden ring" I beat him in around 4 tries, he dies in like 10 swings of my sword because his hp is way too low, his attacks are extremely easy to dodge. I wouldn't even rank him in the top 10.
Elden Ring was my first ever From Software game and I wasn't overlevelled for my fight with him.
Cut to fighting Malenia and it took me maybe 70-80 tries using every possible thing I could to help the fight go in my favour.
@@tia8580 At that time I'd never fought Milenia and I lost to him more than any other. Fast-forward to now after having lost to her for HOURS amd my opinion has changed 😅
@@tia8580 This is just pure bullshit lmao, it takes a minimum of 4 attempts to learn his moveset if you arent overleveled, which you are if he dies in 10 swings. His attacks are the second hardest in the game to dodge, thats why they had to give him such low HP. Its just logic, you dont have to brag to random people on the internet about how good you are.
You missed some hard ones. Will be interesting to see a whole list in the future. My experience was different, but it is easy to differ in power level when you encounter them.
found 3 golden bossen, 1 archer, 1 warrior and 1 mage! gave up on thoose fakkers.
i saw this and immediately thought malenia
@@i.eatpoop nah was some crystall bosses
Yeah, for sure. Malenia is not here. She is probably #1 or #2
Yeah he missed Malenia, Dragonlord Placidusax, Mogh all 3 who would be in the top 5, he also missed Astel
The second phase of Dragonkon Soldier is so underrated and under appreciated. The frost and lightning design, the wings, moveset, he should’ve gotten more love in the community
I just got eldin ring for Christmas this video helped me a lot now i know what bosses to fight first the only thing i have to figure out is how to change my weapons i have 2 swords but i cant use 1 of them
Wasn't expecting to enjoy this video so much! Thank you for making my day better ☺️
The default longsword’s weapon art “square off” honestly works wonders on Margit if you time the hits right
In fact that ash of war holds up surprisingly well regardless for awhile until you find some new ones
Yeah I used it on the short sword. Beat Margit second attempt then wondered why everyone was saying Margit was so hard. Square off and dodgeroll timing made most bosses early game insanely easy. Godrick the grafted I beat first go. Then I switched to golden halberd and basically haven't had a single enemy be difficult since. Even bosses. I was going to stop using it as I felt like I was missing out on the potential of having to learnt their attacks. Dodge jump attacks. Dodge jump attack. Dodge. Jump attack. I mean. It almost ruins the game lol.
@@timm2824 I definitely didn’t beat him first try but godrick I did
Margit took me quite a few attempts actually
I think my main problem was that he’s sort of a cautious boss
And I’m a cautious player
So most of the time I always waited for him to attack
But more recently I’ve been adapting to play more aggressively with that same amount of caution
Helps a ton actually
If I don’t one cycle most bosses it takes me 2-3 attempts
With exceptions to a few tho
Like everyone’s favorite scarlet rot queen melania which I still haven’t beaten
Or the godskin duo which took me 5 or 6 attempts
@@cheesydanishgaming3333 I killed the godskin duo first try as well. Is that the one that gives you the godslayer sword and the armour at the bottom of radahns tower? I was pretty disappointed, I thought given how well they hid it and the enemy pre the room who had more HP than usual. I thought they would be hard. I was at SL 70. I'm telling you Golden halberd is broken as fuck lol. I also killed starscourge beast on top of mt Gelen first go as well. Which I was surprised about as the young version at the start when I was SL 20 wooped me a probably like 7 or 8 times when I first started. Crucible knight was a bastard. But Ive got his rhythms down now. I think I'm just a super calm player so I play super aggressive but I'm a souls veteran so I know not to panic roll and most of the time rolling into the enemy Is smarter than rolling away. Just time it well and you get the IFrames. The black Blade gargoyle was a tough one. He killed me probably like 10 times. Mainly because his one shot is pretty consistent if you don't get his timing right. I havent fought Melania yet but I'm pretty keen.
@@timm2824 I’m talking about the Godskin duo in Farum Azula
Not the Apostle in Caelid
You fight these guys like 5 times sometimes solo other times together
Apostle in Caelid
Noble randomly on a bridge in Liurnia doesn’t even have a boss health bar
Both back to back in spirit form in a random cave called spirit caller cave or something
And both at the same time in Farum Azula
They’re major pains in the ass
As for the black blade kindred gargoyle I sorta forgot about him but he took upwards of 10 tries
And it’s mainly because of his bullshit flaming tornado move that sucks you in and 3 shots you
That you can’t escape from
And the tell he gives for it looks the exact same as another move where he flies into the air so it was worse
And he does half your health with each hit
Fuck that guy
Beat him at level 70 tho
I run sword and shield
Double slash as my ash of war with bleed on it because ofc
Recently I unlocked a sword that inflicts scarlet rot so I’ve been using that as well
square off is goated; aesthetic, effective and versatile
i used a +25 cold longsword with square off against malenia without any summons (cuz I vowed to beat her 1v1 way early in the game lmao) and won after about 10 hours total
The crucible knight had me gripping my controller with enough force to break diamond when I had to fight him
Amazing video. Awesome jokes during the virgins' fight. Very funny throughout.
man this video gave me a ton of nostalgia. I remember when your bloodborne boss ranking first came out - loved your "stream of consciousness" series too - glad to see your still putting out content
Great commentary as always, hoping to see an extended version or followup with the late game optional bosses (Malenia etc), who in my opinion
cross over from 'hard' to 'BS' in terms of boss mechanics
@@tayvinesafiro1378my
i was so excited to fight malenia until she started healing with every hit
@@ripyoshi9133 felt horrible when I got her down to 25% hp or so, then got hit with one of them hard jab combos and saw that she had regained up to 50%
A fully leveled mimic tear makes her more managable. She is weak to bleed and has low poise, time your attacks correctly ans you'll win easily. Her attacks are easier than they look and she is open for attacks more than you think
@@25thAlb The poise was the only thing that finally got me to beat her, but I learned the hard way that she just jumps through anything during her mid air attacks lol
23:55 I don’t know why but most sources I’ve seen have the thing about being unable to leave the abductor virgin fight wrong. You can’t leave until you rest at the site of grace, but once you do you can leave. I almost got stuck doing this fight way underleveled because of this so I hope this helps someone in the same situation.
Your commentary 👌 I can't give you a good enough compliment. Youre just hilarious, chief 🤣
Seeing Erdtree burial watchdog at 29 really makes me feel better about all my deaths. My friend told me it was an easy bossfight so it was the first boss I killed. Painfully. This is my first fromsoft game so that (clearly a cat) watchdog was definitely my git gud trial. Fought Azura next and one tried him.
Same, he was the first boss I fought in the game and this is the first fromsoft game I’ve gotten into. I died like 40 times but afterwards I was way better then when I started especially because he gives you very clear of warning but his attacks are very strong and fast.
He's my first boss too lol it took me 5 hours to defeat him then after that on my second play i reroll my character then beat him in like 5 mins lol
yeah he was my second right after that dog thing in the cave lol, only died twice surprisingly 😅
I’m a vet and watchdog was like a wtf
Everything is a dog in Elden Ring
The other bosses you missed might take those top two spots. Nonetheless very good video, I agreed with you almost completely. Bump duo fights, those duo gargoyles can eat dirt.
Malenia and? Mohg?

Margit the fell omen l’s huge delayed slam attack was really difficult to time, but he does have a tell when to roll. Look at his feet and when it twitches towards you, roll. It took me a while to find that tell. It’s really useful for beginners.
