Ahaha, so much fun compressed into those 8 minutes! Thanks for asking me to read, and good choice subtitling certain parts 😂. I'll definitely make something in that pallet challenge. Happy days Mark!
Fantastic voiceover, so much fun! 🤣 God hygge til dig!
Thanks so much! That was hilarious to watch guys! Mainly cause I didn't think Mark was ACTUALLY going to do it...
Very much looking forward to watching the challenge.
Brilliant work Jesper & Dainso 👏👏👏 You pair are key pillars of the community & need to be protected at all costs. But Jesper I think you need to expand your acting range on the next one & use that god given gift of an accent for evil 😈 & play a diabolical villan in the next video !!
@@GumtreeHillWoodwork Sam! There's soo little evil in me it would be really hard to act it up 🙂
Top video....The newly constructed pallet would make a great coffee table...and the circle of life rolls on.
Mate, this was such a good video and Jesper reading it was absolute gold!
Can’t wait for the competition!!
omfg!
Dude, I follow you now for a long time... and I love what you are creating from old pallets.
Inspiring the entire community to get involved... brilliant!
Can't wait for you to give more info on the competition. I only have a small garage, hardly any time for my hobby and only the basics of tools, but I will definitely take part!
Dainsy, what a rippa! 25 Kangaroo Skins!...Tell him he's dreamin' and mate, l'm, a little concerned with what's in that bottle of "secret sauce" 🤔🤔 Well done to Jesper as well....l can just see the guys from Audio Books knocking on your door for a book deal or two👍👍 Good work mate and look forward to the pallet challanggee....that by the way is French for "challenge" Oh yeah....good stuff from all the cameos as well 👍😁🇦🇺
We need more Uncle Knackers cameos! I'm sure you'll get some calls, certanly from me 🤙
What a great way to hook people in. I need to get the creative juices going and join in... cheers Mark.
I worked in a pallet yard in the 90's. I will tell you that the pallets never left the yard looking that great. I lost it when you squared the corners....that was awesome!
I love the woodworking community so much. I’d love to see some collaboration in the future, you, Jesper and uncle Knackers are awesome!!!! Big fan of Morley too! And I’ll have to check out those other channels too!
Thanks David!
I loved the video mate, it's a ripper. I never cease to be amazed at what you can do with an old coffee table and $30k worth of tools. As for the challenge, I'M IN!
Brilliant, how good, awesome, superb, inspired, fantastic, palletlishious…….. Well done Dainsy 👍🏼
I cant wait for you to deck your veranda with cuttingboards!
As a stay at home dad who’s been enjoying your videos just recently I hadn’t subscribed yet. Watched them all. Liked them all. But the baby in Dads arms did it fellas. This is great happy stuff. I’m in.
Just recently found you. I love making stuff from pallets. A shed, a playhouse that’s as big as a shed, a room for my wife. The list goes on and on. Love seeing your videos.
This is great. Love the community playing along.
Now THAT’s funny shit!! That’s why I watch this channel!! Can’t wait to figure out what I’ll do for the challenge!!
Mark, that was a very light-hearted but super stuff. Loved the cameo by all fellow makers 👍. And special mention to top man Jesper 😁
I love all of the cameos in the video Mark! You really have a great community of people around you :)
This was so fun!
@@dainermade Uh oh haha
My two favourite pallet guys in the same video and it’s not even Christmas yet, brilliant! Thx for the name dropping too I’m deffo gonna watch some others from the list, well done
Bloody brilliant! Just picked up a planer thicknesser and will be spending this Christmas holidays setting up a new work space in the shed so might have to give this a crack
First time I seen someone build a pallet! THATS AWESOME
The editing must have been insane adding clips from a million sources. Even the shirt cuts of shop scenes is a large amount of clips organized.
Well, that seals it. Dainsey, you are better at UA-cam than you are at making stuff from pallets. And you’re very damn good at making stuff from pallets!! Seriously love Jesper’s work too 😂
@@dainermade haha no problems at all mate
You've mastered the art of storytelling. Jolly good show old chap!
Mark is the cup where we all put our straws in and suck up creatives juices! Thanks Mark!
I’ll do it! It will be my first real wood working/ pallet project, so don’t expect amazing! But I will definitely learn from it!
You're the greatest community ever guys. I mean it! Love from Istanbul, Turkey.
That's some precision work right there for a pallet! Great job!
Class vid, guys you rock,
Excellent video, excellent collaborations !!!
Bwa ha ha Absolutely Hilarious!! Enjoyed alot Thanks for making this ;)
So good Mark!! Love how you and Jesper put this together!! Looking forward to seeing what the challenge will look like. Thanks for the laughs, definitely made my day! Cheers!
Ohhh that pallet would make a neat coffee table!!!
this world needs more people like you guys
Mark, that has to be one of your funniest videos yet. Bw ha ha ha
fantastic
Mark / Jesper. That was so much fun. So many creative ideas in the video production. Plus the brilliant number 20 reveal. Together you make a cracking team. I had been racking my brains about how one could make a pallet out of a pallet in a form that would be artistically relevant and poetic. Instead Mark you used the meme to do the very next thing and now the pallet is a symbolic starting point of a challenge that will inspire many to engage the creative juices. Thank you for everything that you both do.
Martin, thank you so much for all the inspiration you somehow find the energy to put into our comments.
This was great! Well done!
What did the youtube challenger say to the sloth?
You're inverted!
So much work in these videos Mark, your success is well deserved.
Absolute royal Gold!
Hilarious😆
Yah great video mate, can't wait for the challenge to begin. I will definitely have a go at making something. I have one project that I have been wanting to have a go at and this might be the time to give it a go.
That. Was. Awesome!
YOUR GREAT BUDDY .AND SO FUN TO WATCH. FROM DOUG
You betcha buddy my pleasure. And thank you
hey mate, thinking of getting into this side hustle of pallet woodworking, you should make a video on the bare minimum tools and jigs you need to start making tables from pallet wood.
Keeping my eye out for this comp!
Getting fidgety waiting for your next vid mate. Hope all is good with you.
Superb video guys👍👍
Great video! I was waiting for someone to do that!
Love it.
Brilliant 🥳🍻👍
Love the vid, will have to see what I can make out of my bags of pallet goodness 👍
Finally someone's doing it! You're a legend, Dainer!
Awesome work Mark. Let us know how to join in on this challenge, I'm down for a building something in January 😀
Reminds me of that channel that clearly makes brand new pallets, just to immediately take them apart to “upcycle” reclaimed wood lol.
Awesome Vid Guys, loved it.
So much fun!
THAT was fun as hell 😂
That's never been done before 🤣
Just had a quick count and I've been sent that meme by 14 different people and I've only been working with pallets for 2 months, can only imagine how many times you've been sent it. Shared and looking forward to the challenge.
Love your work mark.
Hopefully I can get my new workshop set up quickly and I can make something
It's always good to have a plan B. In case your pallet-to-furniture business doesn't succeed, you can fall back on the furniture-to-pallet option. 😂😜
Love the content 😂
Another winner mate. Well done. 🎉
@@dainermade no problem mate just a pity you had to deal with work stuff. 😒😒😂😂😂
This video has all my favourite kind of dickheadery, love it mate! You know you can count me in to the challenge, Cheers!
Struth! Such a good video. And only twenty five kangaroo skins!
NGL that pallet made out of a old coffee table ACUTALLY looks better than a normal pallet 😅
I agree... that's a pretty low bar though 😜
Thank you for this most informative video. I am on my way to make a pallet out of our grand piano. You inspiration will help me along. Bloke from Aus. Subscribed.
I’m just getting into woodworking and have been using pallets to get started and I was wondering how you go about controlling expansion and contraction with your builds since pallet wood is generally pretty wet?
Yes We did need this 😂😂
Can't believe you made it out of pine. But then again, given your pallets are normally made of exotics, I guess this is rare
Great vid, watched it again while reading the funny comments. Never tried it before. This could be the challenge to finally get me palletting...Loose rules sounds good to me.
Hey Mark, funny vid. Greeting from Adelaide.
Have you thought of using your 'patented' tapered edged 'tile/bricks' as roof shingles? As a small test project, a dog kennel or chook shed might be a good start.
As a suggestion for turners, I have made vases and walking sticks out bearer beams. They often need a lot of sanding and sealing though, being made from the fibrous pith wood. But with some elbow grease, come out fine, better if stained.
@@dainermade Well, I am not referring to the one that gives you a rash! Lol! Not sure if you are joshing or not, but roof shingles, are the 'old style' roof tiles, or wood version of slates. They are tradiionally made from splitting the wood with a hatchet, and very time consuming. I saw them being made for a house in Tassie, on the show Restoration Australia. PS, I am waiting for you to slide that one time, just a little bit more than planned...so be careful. Also love the music you use. 🙂
so much fun!!
G'day mate,
just wonder ,got into the hobby and iv made my first straightening jig today, just wonder if there would be any gap between the jig and the fence? iv straightened a couple of pallets and they are coming out the same size the whole way.
Brilliant! Can't wait.
@@dainermade bwa ha ha (sorry!) lol
Lol... Had to watch the entire thing.. bwhaha
So fabulous brother. I'm in
Dainer is going for the Emmy in woodworking vids I see!
Love the videos, do you have a resource for what types of wood we typically use for pallets in Australia? Got hundreds of old pallets scattered around our old mine site some are definitely pine but we often get heavy parts shipped in on hardwood pallets due to weight. I've found what the US typically uses but nothing around what our Aussie pallets are. I went around and took pictures of a bunch to try and ID later based off end grains etc but don't know where to start looking now.
Behaha! That made my day.
Sounds like fun. I'm in!
Oh man, I just made a storage box for potatoes from mostly palett wood. And the day after I got a surgery and I'm taken off service for 6+ weeks.
Actually I made this to test my new DIY cyclone dust collector. Both projects accomplished.
@@dainermade thanks I'm fine. Im just not allowed to lift heavy things or work in general. But that's ok, now I can comment every single video on UA-cam 🤣
Keen as a bean to get involved in this competition! I am going to start collecting and ripping apart with the Golden Destroyer!
Mate that was a awesome video, and Jesper reading it was brilliant 👏 ill defo enter mate
I've been waiting so long to see someone do this 😂
So much squeezed into 8mins I think have to watch it again, we’ll done. 😂
Haaaaa so nice !
Hilarious 😂 I’m in 🎉🎉
Well that was a fun video, haha!
Here's hoping I can get my office cabinets built in time so I can participate!
@@dainermade Oh for sure, it absolutely is. I just know come February the day job goes up to 12-13 hour days 6 days a week so shop time becomes quite minimal pretty quickly, haha
@@dainermade Pff, they aren’t that important, only pay the bills and all that, haha!
BWhaha!!!
Pallet challenge accepted. Just gotta tidy up the workshop first.
Love the video
This was hilarious, that really made my day…
Cool video mate!
Haha top video dude … seriously, I know the pain - the number of times people have sent me that meme just because I’m a carpenter and low-key artistic type maker … I’ve never even built anything out of pallet wood!!! 🤣🤣👌🏼
I happen to have an old coffee table of what I believe is Iroko wood, suddenly feel the urge to turn it into a pallet…
It would be hilarious if you made a coffee table out of the pallet made from a coffee table
Oh my gosh, what a fantastic video! I’ll say it again - you two are better than Netflix. Also,I hope you treated your pallet with methyl bromide - I hear it’s perfectly safe to work with.
Lol
JOINING!
No I know I need to setup an auto emailer that sends the meme to Mark daily for the next few years.
Love this! Pallet challenge accepted!!! ❤❤❤
I'm on it like a car bonnet 👌
Thanks buddy
