Another great video of train action in Washington state and the Puget Sound a nice area with beautiful scenery thank you for your great videos.🇺🇲🚂🚃🚃🚂🇺🇲
Just came back from vacationing up there in the Bellingham area, the video tied up some loose ends as to where some of the unit trains I saw were heading. Great video
Those two bridges spanning the Snohomish river (highway 529) have been there long before 1971, which is around the time the I5 bridge further south crossing over the Snohomish river was completed. I grew up in Everett and one of my 'playgrounds' was the Delta Yard. There used to be a big tree that was on the bluff overlooking the south end of Delta Yard. My brother and I and friends could be found in that tree on warm summer days watching the trains passing by or switching.
That's way-cool that Sam Hill donated $ to help build the Peace Arch in 1921 @ the 2:26:50 mark. I also read that in 1911 he was the 1st to try improve roads, he built an asphalt road around the Maryhill Museum near Goldendale as an example.
We need two videos. One about a subdivision heading to the Bachan oilfields because it is mentioned a lot in a few videos, and another about a subdivision heading to the Roberts Bank Export Terminal because it is also mentioned a lot in a few videos.
Good question. As I recall when I was up there in 2018 that's what the dispatcher referred to them as. I could be wrong but that's how I remember it. Anyone in the know is welcome to chime in.
It be cool if BNSF ,UP,AMTRAK, AND SOUNDER TRAINS TEAM UP USING FEDERAL GRANTS AND REBUILD THE EX NORTHERN PACIFIC RAILWAYS TRACKS FROM ABURN UP THROUGH SNOHOMISH TO SEDRO WOODLEY BURLINGTON AND RECONNECT TO BNSF SUMAS BRANCH LINE AND GAVE A TWIN LINE FROM VANCOUVER BC TO MEXICO SERVICE UP THE I -5 CORRIDORS 😊😅😮😢🎉C😂Z❤❤❤❤❤NEATR VIDEOS

Amazing video! I love to watch the trains pass along the waterfront in Seattle, Chuckanut, and Bellingham
50:31 I was on this train! I went from Edmonds to Vancouver. It was the first time I went on a passenger train.
Ahhhhh yissss! Friday night is set!!
Another excellent upload 🙌
Definately adding these locations to my list of visits when I eventually head over to the states! Epic video as usual!
I use to ride the train to Blaine to visit my grandma in Birch Bay, best train ride ever..
Thanks for sharing this video and I always wanted to take a train from Portland Oregon to Vancouver BC and watch the view.

thanks for the vid, really enjoy your work - love the heron shot at the locks, that is one cranky looking heron!
Outstanding video!
Loved this route on Sounder from Mukilteo to Seattle for Seahawks and Mariners games. 8 bucks round trip and beat the hell out of Seattle traffic.
When you first mentioned BNSFs Interbay, I immediately thought of @Hyce !
Amazing

Should be noted that there is a section of single track from MP 27 to MP 28.

Yes my neck of the woods
I live in Ferndale
I used to live there too, near Intalco.
50+ years ago. Thanks.
Splendid coverage especially at the end with the BNSF New West sub.
I wonder how long the script is especially for a monster 2 hour long video.
Is there (or will there be) a separate video which covers the Scenic Subdivision going east out of Everett?
Will or have you done a series in the midwest, specifically around Michigan?
Who has the right away the train or boat
9:53 not used anymore sadly
Damn, that's too bad.
It looks like an awesome shop.
It was/is 100 years old though.
Trainsimulations free DL BNSF scenic route on OR brought me here.
What's the purpose of the Officer's Special?
40:37 that's not Amtrak, that's Sounder
Choo Choo, Homies!
Why do you keep referring to Sound Transit(SRDX) trains as Amtrak??

Hmmm. A locomotive capable of producing over 4000 hp in charge of 2 passenger cars seems a bit like smacking a fly with a sledgehammer.
