the funny thing about this video is the winning attempts at battles are built up to be this epic triumph, "finally i got this perfect run", but bc of the nature of the challenge, they are literally just normal pokemon battles where nothing strange happens
I thought this challenge was incredibly interesting and entertaining... Until you blew the lid off of the Disobedient Metagame with the Gardevoirite strat. I'd like to see you give this a legitimate try in the future.
My latest randomized nuzlocke I ended up with a wingull as my starter, naming it "big beak" and I actually became attached to Pelipper and now it's probably top 30 for me. That fricking Pelipper got me through a lot and I'm still grateful

This was really cool man. Disobedient Pokemon have always irritated me though obviously, it's a sensible mechanic. It frustrated me to no end as a kid to have the Onix trade from Violet no longer obey after level 10. Awesome to see it being used for your gain!

Next you should do a Poke-Beans only level 100 gauntlet. In pokemon us&um, you can buy pokebeans from the pokemart cafe, and you can get rare candies from feeding enough of them to your pokemon. It would be really cool to see you do something like that in your next level 100 gauntlet!

This reminds me of the first time I've played Gen 6. It was very late in the generation and level 100 shiny Xerneas event was being released through Mystery Gift. I got it around the time I reached Petalburg Woods in Omega Ruby and the Xerneas ended up being incredibly annoying. It was excruciatingly difficult to use because it very rarely obeyed me at the time. This became so bad that I ended up shoving it in the PC box by the time I beat Roxanne... I was a coward.

Your dedication to wasting hours on this stuff is inspiring lol. Even if these rare pixels and challenges are only digital, it’s still something great. Every time I see an old save file for the first time in a while or a shiny it warms my heart and that’s what this stuff is all about. I plan on taking on the ribbon master challenge with a shiny but I’ve never hunted at full 8196 odds and it’s daunting and scary. I’ve only gotten shinys in PoGo Quest and through trading I think. I’ve attempted hunts before but I’ve never finished them, the potential shinys are just sitting there. I once tried hunting mewtwo in let’s go but after too many soft resets (was hunting without charm I believe) I gave up and stopped playing. But your videos fill me with determination and I hope I won’t give up this time. 🤝
