BEAUTIFUL! Standing ovation from me! Thank you for this phenomenal recipe and for the excellent video! I can't wait to make some beautiful crispy vegan GF spring rolls!
Outstanding! So clear, so eady to see, so easy to read, and -- Tada! All the ingredients and process are easily read at the end of the video! I can't wait to try these. It's been so long since I've had a spring roll, and I've really missed them. THANK YOU!!
This looks delicious! I am very impressed with your work. Sorry to be a bother, butI am trying to avoid deep frying. If I make these rolls, do you think they can be baked instead? Also, if I use this dough to make dumplings, would it be possible to then steam the dumplings?
You can use the pork chive dumpling recipe, which is more convenient for what you want. The dumplings can be fried with a little oil by a frypan or steamed in a pot.
Oh, that technique looks so intriguing! I would never thought of rolling and pan frying a bunch of wrappers together, is there any benefit to doing it this way vs rolling/ frying them individually? The finished product looks amazing, makes me want to drop whatever I was doing before and trying this recipe :)
This is lovely. A quick question, could I use normal potatoes rather than a sweet potatoes? Would you recommend to use fresh potatoes rather than powder mash?
You can use normal potatoes. I posted a video of Wraps which uses mashed potato. Yes, I recommend to use fresh potato rather than powder because I couldn't get it.
The written recipe (in the description) for the wrapper is slightly different, from the one in the video... Description said 60g rice flour 40g tapioca 50g mashed potato. While it's 50g rice 50g tapioca 55g potato in the video... Which one's the right one/works best?? Other than that, excellent recipe!
Thank you for your comment. I had an explanation in the description about adjusting the ratio of ingredients in the video. So the description should be correct. .
I was wondering where the meat was haha. GF and DF... Then I read the title (VEGAN). I am not a mushroom fan, what can I use instead? minced beef? Also I question the Vegan approach with Mushrooms. They are highly intelligent, although sentient fungi, but they can adjust/adapt and feel around themselves, some are carnivorous, feeding of insects/small animals and also plant life near them (wood etc).
What a beautiful tutorial, love this! Thank you so much!

Thank you - I had not seen it yet. These will be perfect! I appreciate it 😊
Great video! Does this freeze well? Can you freeze it before frying or will it fall apart when you take it out of the freezer?
It can't be frozen.
Top dish. Thank you!!;
You are welcome!
Perfect so much love ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks!😊
What can I substitute for tapioca starch x
You can use sweet potato starch.
Lucy 好 米粉可以用玉米粉代替吗?
我不但gluten 过敏
大米也过敏
玉米粉的粘性不够,应该不容易做。

You are so creative, please keep up the good work!
Rolling and pan frying several wrappers together can make them very thin, which is exactly what the spring roll wrappers need.
Thank you.

太厉害啦👍👍
I think I can use this for samosa covering with out the rolling and pan frying step direct filling stuff and frying
Good idea! I'd like to know how it goes.
Looks good Lucy! I was wondering if the same recipe+technique could be used for dumpling wrappers?
Also, when did you add the "glue"?
Yes, it can be used for dumpling wrappers. The glue was used to stick wrappers when wrapping filling.
The dough can be handled like regular dumpling dough.

Can I use potato instead of sweet potato? Can this wrappers be frozen after cooked in the pan? Or should I freeze it while still raw?
You can use regular potato. The wrappers can be frozen after cooked.
@@lucymeishinobinderglutenfree thank you, you are very sweet! :)
Will definitely try it, but why do the pieces have to be piled ontop of eachother and heated that way insyead of individual circles of rolled dough ?
Overlapping the dough sheets can be rolled out very thinly.
@@lucymeishinobinderglutenfree Thank you.
Do you think it would worl if we steam instead?
It is not easy to separate the wrappers if steaming.
Can I use this recipe to make hamburger bun?
I don't think so, but you can use the baguette dough recipe to make hamburger buns
What can I substitute for rice flour as rice is a grain and I can not eat grains of any kind?
In my "no binder gluten-free recipes from scratch" group on facebook, I have posted some grain-free bread recipes that you can refer to.
Hi is there any specifications for rice flour
Use fine white rice flour.
Can we use potatoes?
Yes, you can.

You can use beef. Add some starch to absorb water that comes out when the meat is heated.
