Leon really should’ve used an ultra ball, but I gotta give him some respect for shielding Hop and MC over himself.
The anime actually fixed that by making him use an ultra ball. Not that it made much of a difference in the outcome

@@BKBK-yo1zz he said he weakened eternatus, i think he thought that it was near low health, but it healed itself before battling us.
It's possible that the capsule is modified for this catch.
You wanna know what REALLY would have made more of an impact? Leon using a Master Ball
6:35 - 7:00 is actually a really cool transition from cutscene to in game.I know that type of stuff has been done before they did it really well here.
I think this has to be the first time in main series to do such smooth transition. Back then the cutscene would go then do a separate battle intro to load combat data

Yeah I had it in camp and it was chatting with my Cinderace named Hip Hop and they were talking happily like weren't you two fighting to the death a while back
My Cinderace was named Axel, inspired by an Inazuma Eleven character Axel Blaze. If my Cinderace was female, then I would either call her Cinder or Cindy. As for Eternatus it is funny that he just plays with the others.

Y'know, contrary to the cutscene's implications, the game is programmed so that, after the Eternamax battle is wrapped up, Eternatus can be caught in any Ball infallibly, so an ordinary Poké Ball actually would have sufficed.
That's why I used a normal Poke Ball to catch Eternatus.
I used a dream ball to match Eternatus’ color scheme
I used a premier ball. Just like every legendary in the Dynamax adventure cave. I just had too many I wouldn't use otherwise.
Leon, along with being the champ, is also a hero for saving our lives over his. I wonder how bad he got injured from the moment eternatus got out of the pokeball

This has to be my second favorite battle of the modern era games, only outclassed by the magnificence that is Ultra Necrozma with it's godlike music. The music was amazing, especially when used with the cutscenes, Eternatus is a total beast and looks sick, the cutscenes have gone to foreboding to despair and finally the feeling of being unbeatable and I love it. Phase 2 was dissapointing, since you do nothing. They could have you being unable to attack while Eternamax Eternatus overwhelms us with powerful attacks while defeating your team on by one until you only have two Pokémon left and after struggling to survive a hopeless battle, then phase 3 kicks in with Zacian and Zamazenta arriving like in the game. Phase 1 and 3 are fine, with phase 1 being the legendary battle and the third one being a comeback and pushing it back and finally stopping it. If the second phase gave you a sense of it's overwhelming power and the hopeless situation, then it would be perfect.

I really like that cutscene. The protagonist was really expressive on that one, unlike the rest of the game. Just wished I could play it again, but I progressed further and with only one save there's no turning back unless I started all over again. :( Also, my party was a little bit over lv60 and I brought my Gigantamax-able Eevee to fight Eternamax Eternatus. XD

@@zamzammohamed2108 The game was on auto-save by default, so I thought I could play that part again while recording by turning off the game after that scene but it just bypass it. Past Pokemon games don't do that on your save file by default.

Idk why, but after beating the fire type gym, my Pokemon would always be 20 levels above the trainers and everything I fought. I think friendship was the reason they didn't disobey me or something. Leon was still pretty difficult though.

Anyone else feel that the cutscene of the legendary doggos jumping hundreds of miles away off into the sunset together just seemed really silly and out of place as well as the music that played with the scene? No transition or anything, couldnt help but crack up at that part lol.
