remember, when you don’t know what ability you should give to a legendary, just give it pressure
Yeah pressure is a sick ability but disappointed they gave it this also I feel its a little lackluster to give to a legendary. I mean I get not to make it to OP but still could of done a little better but hey.
pyrosis skylar Perhaps an ability that reduced damage from Dynamaxed foes. Although, in that case, the ability would be extremely circumstantial.
All Pressure really does is inconvenience YOU. AI is likely never going to run out of PP in a battle, while you have to heal it up afterwards.
Regaurdless of it not being the best ability, i feel like it fits it and most legends very well. Imagine ur bird u caught in ur backyard comes with u on a journey and then pops out of its ball and is met with a legendary Pokemon who wants to kill it and all that's standing between it and it's trainer is the bird. A lot of pressure if u ask me
They should’ve given to to Duraludon which would make its gmax move probably a lot more useful
@@deniz1205 They should have done that with Regigigas (Why did they have to curse an honestly impressive legendary that is supposed to lead a legendary trio with Slow Start? It went from on par with Groudon and Kyogre to worse than Stoutland. All thanks to an ability).

I did that in Omega Ruby and I got it first try. Don't know how, but I'm not complaining.
I mean, I know why some people catch legendaries in normal pokeballs, but he was trying to stop it.. at least throw a damn ultra ball, you can afford it

This game would have been 90% perfect (the other 10% being the lack of dex) IF they would have just swapped this ingame story with the post game story. Instantly top 3 greatest games of of all time and maybe easily the best game not counting sequels or remakes.

He felt Eternatus was gonna break out of the Ball, and gave an order to Charizard to protect Hop and the MC, even if they were far from Eternatus, and he put his life in danger, and was even send to the hospital because of that. I always love it when games seamlessly flow from the cutscene to the battle like this.

Easily my favorite climax of any Pokemon game. I love that we get to have a JRPG full party right right before the end.

@@gliderman8934 It is hard to tell; most stories would have the fight against the eldritch space alien as the climax, but, considering that SwSh's story was very focused on the gym challenge and a general coming-of-age story, Leon's fight also makes sense as the climax. It can go both ways.

Gotta admit, some of the animations here, especially in the cutscenes, look awesome. That doesn’t take away from the game’s shortcomings, but Zacian and Zamazenta’s entrance was dope. Also, the music is sick!!!!

I love how this fight shows Eternatus as a really dangerous monster when Gigantamaxed by making you unable to attack and needing the help of two Legendaries in order to stop it. It really shows how such a feared Legendary Pokemon should be.

@@Number_27 Keep in mind its in the Max Raid Battle format. If you could fail it then he would be able to run away and changing the catch rate is a lot easier than just changing how max raids work for one battle but it would indeed be cooler if it was hard to catch

@@TheDunsparceGames And it technically did so in the battle, not the *whole* space-time continuum (that seems a bit over the top) but its surrounding space time, holograms of previous locations appear and disappear in the massive hurricane of Dynamax energy.
I love the music in the fight, the way that they used the howl as a part of the song is unique and creative, but not only that, but the song made you feel like that there was hope in this dark hour. Amazing song, amazing battle.
Seeing the battle with Zamazenta and Zacian against Eternatus takes me back to the old Final Fantasy and Golden Sun boss fights.

Eternus role in Dynamaxing is similar to Necrozama being the source of light of Z moves. However for Necrozama, its gathering light to survive

And it looks more menacing, since it looks like an eldritch abomination and all of it moves have super flashy over the top animations to appear stronger than what they are

This game has it's issues. But holy crap.
That transition from the cutscene Zacian and Zamazenta transforming to Eternatus roaring RIGHT back into the battle. THAT was fucking cool. I got a chill from that. That's one of my favorite things in games.

Acording to calcs, unboosted Ultra Necrozma take away over 50% of Giga Eternatus health with Light that Burns the Sky. With the boost, it's over 75%. He also likely tank one attack thanks to his omni boost.
I sent this monster on a pokejob for dragontypes to 'scare off thieves'.

There are some people who like a good challenge for themselves. When I got Pokémon Moon, I made an extra Island Challenge to bring up the difficulty: catch every single legendary and Ultra Beast with only Pokeballs; and I did it.
I Caught Zapdos With A Regular Pokéball.
Leon said he already wore down Eternatus's HP but yeah. Use an Ultra Ball at least.

Just because you were lucky enough to know what you were going against doesn't mean it's any less harder.
Any Pokemon can be taken out just as easy if you cheese the game mechanics (ie, Arceus beaten by a Lv 1 Rattata)

After playing the game I have to admit something - I can understand why he threw the pokeball. It is because after you weakened a dynamaxed pokemon they usually go into any ball you throw. BUT he doesn't seem to have gauged Eternatus' health well - the thing still had 2 full tanks of gas to burn.

Yeah, but Eternatus chucks several of those points into defenses (making this an extended damage race), is defeated with the aid of two cover legendaries (unlike Necrozma), and most importantly, doesn't start with boosted stats that automatically makes it lightning bruiser that outspeeds your pokemon, outdamages your pokemon, and outtank your pokemon.

I love this fight so much. This being my first Pokémon adventure when I got to eternatus and held up the rusted shield I knew I was in for a treat and I was right this fight is absolutely amazing

@@madisonotken1310 Yamper has an ability that lets it retrieve a pokeball from a failed catch. So that means they don't break, Eternatus is the only pokemon to break a pokeball by escaping it.
