Righting And Towing An Overturned Jeep

- On the later afternoon of September 17, 2024, at one of San Diego's most dangerous intersections, Howard Avenue at Arizona Street, a Jeep was T-boned by a Nissan SUV. The resulting collision was the result of the frequent mistakes drivers make here, assuming that like every other single intersection on Howard Avenue, this is a four-way stop. It is not. And the city refuses to make this one lone intersection a four-way stop, for reasons they will not discuss.
The result is traffic collisions such as this one, which are TOTALLY preventable. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but this dangerous intersection continues to claim vehicles.
A HUGE shout-out to the tow truck driver here, who handled his job with a Starfleet-like efficiency. He went right to work and got the overturned Jeep righted and loaded up in less than twenty minutes. Wind N Sea towing needs to be credited with a fantastic job!
Part two is posted separately as in the span of just a couple of moments a neighbor came into view (I didn't want her conversation in the video), and the victim of the overturned vehicle appeared back into view - I don't want her privacy invaded, so I split the video. Less than two minutes are missing.
Must be his first tow
Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t have started it. Oil went everywhere it wasn’t meant to be when it was upside down. Rollover was fantastic tho.
Nice! Thats the only thing that sucks about that end of the bed. It goes up cause it’s on a hinge.
I'm so thankful that curved bed is uncommon.
@ they’re great for loading lowered vehicles
@@TowMan127 Eh, who cares about lowered vehicles. If the owners want to stupidly slam cars for no reason, they accept all risk of scraping. 😂
Cool video, another good one is Saratoga and SS cliffs
Every Jeep that's ever been built is top heavy.
All he had to do is spin it around and load to much wasted time thats a 10 to 15 min job
