It is really hard to admit you need to turn around, and I don't know why. I've gone way too far down some bad roads when not in a 4 wheeler. Nowadays, knowing that happens, I remind myself when I leave pavement it's ok to turn around, keep reevaluating, get and and scout if necessary, this isn't a dedicated 4 wheeler that can conquer anything.
One thing I like about Matt, his channel and the way he runs his business is that he doesn't necessarily keep people doing one particular thing. I have noticed he's thrown everyone into pretty much every position, don't know how to do it, no worries we'll figure it out together. Hats off to you for that, these people are learning new skills that they can take down the road in their life to utilize it in a career potential. Pretty cool
Agreed. Cross-training your staff is always a smart strategy for a business and for the employees. It keeps the business from having to rely on a single person for any critical part of the business and makes the employee more valuable if they can step into another task/position without needing time to transition. There's no better teacher than hands-on experience and learning from your mistakes. Matt's method allows the team to make mistakes, but then turns it into a learning opportunity. The staff comes out of it more confident AND more experienced because of it. It's a huge part of what I love about this channel.
I agree as well. This is how I was trained at work. We service and install residential and commercial garage doors, windows, siding, man doors, and everything that goes with those as well. Its a great experience when you never know what you'll be doing the next week, or where you'll be even in a few hours with emergency calls. I love it By trade I'm a mechanic, so I'll always have that on the side to keep changing things up. My ADHD needs it 😂

A good part of that was because the driver was smart enough to stop as soon has he realised he was stuck, so he'd only just broken the surface instead of burying it to the frame rails.
The Hyudai driver didnt hesitate when matt said that caitlyn could drive it up there, he was just happy to not do it himself :D thats how trustworthy matts crew is!
Matt continues to demonstrate the picture of an ideal mentor. Katelynn continues to amaze me (75 YOWG) with her mature (well beyond her chronological age) driving aptitude and quest to be better. Excellent content by the MORR Gang.
So you think its ok for her to work with grown men? I feel if the situation was reversed and Matts wife was only hiring young men to mentor you would see things differently. I bet next in line will be another young lady to grab attention from the viewers. Kaitlyn this Kaitlyn that . Are you so naive as a father you cant see these are grown men oogling this kid lol. Kaitlyn as a young woman should know better and you as a father should teach yours better. Prove me wrong.
Just yesterday while in our SxS we ran into some Canadians in a rental jeep that asked about going up the Honeymoon Trail as a shortcut to hwy 59. We told them we didn’t recommend it. OnX has the trail listed as a 3, but that one section is pretty tough and surprises a lot of people.
It never ceases to amaze me where people will try to take vehicles that don't belong on the trails that they are on and how far they actually make it sometimes before their luck runs out. I live in mud country in Mississippi and i used to have a 1979 Bronco sitting on 44 inch swampers. At least twice a month i'd have someone call me and ask if i could go out and pull someone out which was always fun for me. What amazed me is how far people would make it into areas that should have been impossible for them to go in the rigs that they were in. I just wish i had go pros then and had recorded all of them. Had my Bronco for 17 years.......man i miss the old girl.
In my defense OnX shows the trail as a green level 3. Maybe they can send one of their survey teams in a similar hyundai “truck” and see what they change the trail rating to 😅
@@perrysaperstein3773 Hey everyone that goes off road has done it at one time or another. I had a bronco .....12 inch lift.....lockers front and rear.........12,000 pound winch front and rear....on 44 inch super swamper boggers and i buried it several times in places i knew i probably couldn't make it thru but just had to try it anyway. But in my defense i always made sure i had at least two or three similar rigs with me to get me out when i screwed up lol.
@ Thank you sir for a reply that wasn’t disrespectful and demeaning 👍 You are absolutely correct…the first thing I learned as a teenager wheeling up and down the old ox cart trails to abandoned mines in Colorado was NEVER go by yourself. This little trip was a spur of the moment decision after checking OnX and seeing the rating of Green Level 3. They obviously have to update their rating…but still no excuse for going alone 🤦♂️
@@perrysaperstein3773 You're very welcome sir. First of all I learned long ago not to cast stones or try to degrade others for things that they do. Making mistakes is just a part of life and they often help you in the end if you learn from them. If you've learned from your mistakes then you have the opportunity to try to help others not to make the same mistakes that you have made, but you can't help them by berating them or trying to force your opinion on them. That just leads to anger, and confrontation and i've never seen that accomplish anything positive for you or them. You're appear to be an older gentleman like me and i'm sure that you have over the years tried to help others by passing on what you have learned in life like i have. The best we can do is hope that we can even in some small ways pass on the knowledge that we have learned from life's lessons and hope that the younger generations that come after us will consider it and maybe not make some of the mistakes that we have all made. My grandfather told me when i was a teenager that he didn't believe in giving anyone a handout, but he believed that you should always be willing to give a hand up so that when someone makes a mistake or falls and you help them up they have the chance to change their situation from that day on where a hand out would only help them for the moment. He also said that if you kick a man when he's down you're a coward and that what you do in that moment might keep them from ever trying again and help to screw up the rest of their lives. I was probably in my thirties before i really realized how right he was and how much he had helped me to become the man i was by passing on to me the things that he had learned from his mistakes. I've tried to live my life every day since then in a manner that would make him proud of me like i was of him. With so many young people that we all come across these days that are from broken homes and don't have someone in their life to try to guide them like my grandfather did with me it's even more important that we try to pass on what we've learned to the younger generation. I guess when i saw you step right up and say well i got that one wrong it made me think of my grandfather and all of the things he said to me came rushing back into view. If you've read this far i apologize for rambling and taking up this much time, but i wanted to make sure that i made sure that you understood that i wasn't trying to berate you or anything. I get a kick out of watching these videos and seeing some of the things that people get themselves into when going off road and laughing at myself when i think back to some of the crazy situations i've gotten myself into when i was going off road all the time. Take care sir and may God Bless and keep you and your family safe.
@ I definitely couldn’t have said that better myself. I spent 32 years as an airline pilot and learned how to pay my dues and start from the bottom of 5500 pilots who were senior to me. I got hired at a young age compared to most of the other pilots. As time went by and I worked my way towards the captain seat in the B777 I was usually younger than the guy in the copilot seat. The hardest part of being the kind of captain that my mentors were was to be able to command and teach these older guys in a way that didn’t come off as demeaning or disrespectful while at the same time maintaining the command structure. Your grandfather strikes me as the type of man who could easily be one of my mentors. Be well and keep sharing your experience. Sent from my iPad

Love the ATC; I have one myself but it's a much smaller version, lol. Glad to see he's pulling it with a tractor - that's the right way to do those big haulers!
I have a Santa Cruz and my family is in ranching. It does surprisingly well on trails that can be about as rough as those. Even the dct has had no issues. The main issues are tires and approach/departure angles especially with a hitch. It will happily tripod and keep going. Some of our trails are really steep and modern wranglers and tacomas will constantly overheat - the new Tacoma being the worst bc the transmission will just let go and the motor free spin. SC just marches up even without low ranches. Heck, the sc even does decent with river crossings as I regularly have it up past the belly and have had it near the top of those low headlights. I should take some videos but it’s just a day of work for me so I never think to. 30K miles of abuse so far with no issues. It could use a lift though

I admire Kaitlyns confidence. Ready to do anything!
Kaitlyn is really cool. Definitely a special young lady.
As the father of an amazing daughter, I bet her father is really cool as well. 😊
😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
So you think its ok for her to work with grown men? I feel if the situation was reversed and Matts wife was only hiring young men to mentor you would see things differently. I bet next in line will be another young lady to grab attention from the viewers. Kaitlyn this Kaitlyn that . Are you so naive as a father you cant see these are grown men oogling this kid lol. Kaitlyn as a young woman should know better and you as a father should teach yours better. Prove me wrong.
@@firemarshallbill911 So you're saying you 'like' oogling young women. Good to know. Sure glad I'm not in your family.
Matt, love the progress of all the younger Morr family. You're in good hands!!!
😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍😍
Good to see Queen Katelyn handling the job. God Bless.
👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Just yesterday while in our SxS we ran into some Canadians in a rental jeep that asked about going up the Honeymoon Trail as a shortcut to hwy 59. We told them we didn’t recommend it. OnX has the trail listed as a 3, but that one section is pretty tough and surprises a lot of people.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍

Amazing recovery. Kaitlyn is fearless.
6:05 … Please.
Kaitlyn is gaining confidence and finding her legs Matt. Couple weeks prep, and a fixed Banana walla you've got a back up anchor crew. But you know this.
Katelynn.... they've shown her name a thousand times... ok, maybe not a thousand, but many times. :)
😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
As long as she smiles, you simps would fall over yourselves.
Katelynn is learning lot from you Matt! A good video! Thanks! 👋
😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
This is the channel out there. Love watching your videos.

IKR .... there's nothing on tv as good as this show! Just happy my son introduced me to it :)
Caitlyn service with a smile good job girl😊
😍😍❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kaitlin like the hair!
❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍
Been sick for a few days, but no matter how bad I am sick or don’t feel good, MORR VIDEOS will be watch no matter what.
Props to Kaitlin. She is getting to be quite the pro. She also adds so much with what she has to say. I especially likeed, "Copy, let me know when you are ready for me to do my medium-rare pull."
Awesome video. Great job guys, and I must say, Kaitlyn, your hair looks wonderful. Love the waves. Reminded me of my daughter on her wedding day 🙂
Kaitlyn and her converses. Classy lady👌styling even on the trails haha
❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘
Hard to be stylish without flip flops! LOL ... shout out to Jaime!
Needs more peanut.
The team Matt has put together is great. Each member presents a great attitude for the situation every time we see them.
Good Friday morning to everyone on the crew. Have a good day.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😁😁😁😁
Kaitlyn is awesome team member and Glad to see Matt teaching and trusting her along with his other team members. Stay safe
one of the coolest customers i've ever seen on Matts offroad...
Man Kaitlyn is totally fearless, at least in the presence of Matt and his incredible mentoring abilities. What a show of class.
The wrecker is so impressive and Katelynn once again proves why she belongs on the MORR crew.
😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Kaitlyn is awesome, her attitude and her skills are really impressive. Matt is such a great coach for her too. Great job!!!
That Hyundai guy was so chill 🤣 I can almost here him saying “And down we go” as it went down the side 🤣
Hear. Not here.
@ yup, you’re right. Don’t even know why I said that 🤣.
@@DaveTheTechGuy No worries 👍🏻
😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘❤❤❤❤❤❤
You definitely got the feeling right but I have to admit what I said in the moment isn’t printable on a family channel 😂
I love the videos where Matt is instructing Kaitlyn on new things and she's taking it all in. Matt is so patient, makes wish he had daughters.
18:58 You know things get serious when Matt pulls the vehicle by himself. 🤣
Wow !! That hair style on Katelyn makes her even look cuter . Good choice K . Oh , and great driving !
The wrecker pulled the big rig out easily because the owner didn't chew up the ground messing about, he got help first.
Yep, he could have easily made that situation way worse, but he was smart and didn't keep spinning the wheels
👍👍👍👍👍👍😘😘😘😘😘😘
iv used my matts off road recovery rope and 2 shackles to pull a semi off of the Nabors lawn pull logs out of the woods pull our ram 5500 dump truck out of the mud with a 14' dump trailer full of wood. i love that thing. the best 500-600 bucks i ever spent.
That guy in the passenger seat of his Hyundai looked 2 shades whiter by the end lol.
😂😂 lol !!
If somebody made my car hop around like that, I wouldn't know whether to concentrate on puking or worrying about the oil pan.
@@tamask001 right. She did get it out of there though lol.
❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
It's always scarier to be in the passenger seat than it is the driver's seat 😅
I like Perry. Hes funny, he admits when he needs help, and his voice is soothing, i could listen to him for hours lol
MORR on Matt amazingly amazes his amazement. 👍 Amazing
❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😘😘😘😘
I live how Matt is so level headed all the time, he is amazing teacher and father.
Keep up with the good work love watching your videos on UA-cam God bless you matt an team
The amount of trust katelynn puts into Matt is remarkable!! I would need new underwear only watching....I think the Hyunday got stuck exactly where the sprinter got stuck ....sure enough the Hyunday did much better than the Sprinter getting out !!! Good on you guys !!
Love seeing those kids push there limits and grow!
😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So glad to see Kaitlyn driving and showing her skills! Great Video!
The wrecker really needs some removable jump seats in the back !
Weld a receiver hitch on top of the toolbox so you can mount a little aluminum seat. Easy on, easy off.
❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I can't figure out a way to say it that doesn't sound a little weird, but I really like what Katelyn's done with her hair - them waves are neat! Astonishingly good job driving, I was at full pucker just watching it!
gotta love that yankum rope 😁👍
❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love that Kaitlyn is never afraid to do the narly stuff. She is nearly as good an off-road driver as Matt and Rory - she has won prizes to prove it. When she gets a bit older with even more experience, she'll be unbeatable.
Matt: "I don't want anybody between these two vehicles in case it rolls…"
Matt: "Kaitlyn, I want you in the vehicle…"
😂
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Miss Katelynn continues to hone her already awesome skills. So pleasing to see the master giving this little ray of sunshine a cnance to shine in a challenging field. Like Matt's "plan B" (smile)
Soccer mom that gets that thing next will never know of its legend in offroad history.
👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍
I definitely could have used a lift…I just didn’t imagine it would be from Matt and Kaitlyn 😂
You can really tell Kaitlyn loves driving that wrecker. Fun to watch and I’m here for it lol. Nice work as always Matt!
Those toy haulers are sick trailers
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
17:02 So nice to see Matt's kids all grown up. I remember watching channel when they were little. Matt training his kids 🎉🎉🎉
I'm impressed by the Santa Cruz
👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍
Kaitlyn is so coachable! What a great member of the team.
5:42 thank you for calling that what it is: a car 😂
Car with the back of the roof cut off.
