With his shirt on it was hart to see much of what happened (at least on the YT stream). Soon as he yelled you knew it was a pec tear. Plenty of outlets calling it a gruesome sight during the live stream, but honestly, it was pretty much a nothing on stream.

I had the exact same injury where most of my tear was the muscle as the tendon was still attached to the bone. Doctors will always give you the worst case senario so dont let it concern you. My pressing is now stronger than before the surgery . I'm 55 years old so if I can heal stronger I am absolutely certain you will also. BTW thank you for taking the time to allow my wife and I to have the nice photo with you at the SBD booth at the Arnolds. . They did the cut off before us and you had them bring me and my wife for a photo so again thank you and I know you will do awesome in rehab and recovery !

I wasn't so lucky. Mine wasn't off the tendon as well, but so many fibers are gone, there isn't much left. :( My bench is like 60% of what it was.
I honestly don't mind the lower weight on the bar, but the look is the thing I hate the most. It looks like gyno now (which it isn't) and totally unproportional to the rest of my body.

Amazing how so many people even attempt their maximum lifts. Well, I'm not surprised by youngsters, because until mid-to-late 20's we all feel 'undestructible', and I also tried personal records multiple times when young. Also obviously I'm not surprised by competitive lifters, it's their job or at least passion. But why the hell thousands of middle aged dudes would even do that. What do they gain if they get a PR. Well I do understand their motivation.. but at the same time I can't fully comprehend why they decide to take the risks that go with it. My own strategy for not getting injured is not even attempting any weights that I can't do at least a few moves (5 or 6 minimum) in a controlled manner. So far works for me for the last ~15 years. Stay healthy everyone.

@@dragasinbrankovic greetings from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 my friend . I’m not sure how to respond to your comment. It would probably take too long to discuss here. I don’t really know what you believe or believe in. I just feel it’s my duty as a follower of Jesus Christ to make known what is offered freely to sinners through the gospel. A testimony of physical healing is very powerful and hard to argue with. Of course it’s more powerful when it’s happened to someone you know very well and trust they speak the truth. I could not doubt God heals physically even if I wanted to. Jesus himself healed physically, taught his disciples to heal and commanded the church in what we call the great commission to go preach the gospel and heal etc etc. The church is to continue the work Jesus began in the New Testament. A friend of mine was due to get two knee replacements and God healed him the night before surgery. I was there when a woman with a golf ball sized lump was prayed for and doctors confirmed it gone. A man that he had mouth cancer as a child and his dad fasted and prayed for him for over 10 days and God healed him. My grandmother saw the name of a disease that was in her daughters body appear before her eyes in gold writing. A woman in a church about 20 miles from me who was either deaf or dumb (I forget now) who went to church for years was healed and can speak or hear. The list goes on and on. We live in a world full of doubt , fear and unbelief….these stories inspires faith and hope.

@@ourclarioncall I witnessed miracles for myself but none included healing of physical issues.
Mine miracles I have witnessed are seeing ghosts many times throughout my life, two times I saw them with another person(different guys and ghosts each time), having perception of the future exactly how it happened a few hours later, seeing who was coming to my house and what they where wearing and in how much time they will be there which was accurate to the last detail and second and being able to know a person to the last detail of their character and what they do in their daily life and what separates them from the love of God without ever seeing them before(it's like a glitch in a matrix i shouldn't know this information).
And biggest of all miracles was when I lost my sense of self and merged into light out of this world which is all loving, powerful and present along with all other attributes that are a common thread in all religions when describing God.
I can't say that miracles that you are describing are impossible because all of these and many more that happened to me but I have a strong skeptic tendencies and can only totally believe in something when I have undeniable proof(personal experience) of it, I was a devout atheist until I saw and merged with the all present light that holds this world in existence which I can only call God.
Now I am atheist no more but in that light there was no religious figures or even words, just pure ecstatic Oneness that is totally unexplainable with words it's beyond them and no "holy book" or organization can claim that they posses It(he she it, these are just human words and concepts) or are exclusive one "right path" to It.
As with everything in life when I see thise healings I will believe it but I totally don't rule it out as impossible.
I love religion much more than atheism but spirituality is my cup of tea, have a good one.
