I just wanted to say that for the past year you have propably been the biggest inspiration for me to better my life. In Finland we have this thing called "sisu". There is no direct translation for it, but that word is assocciated with true guts. Spirit to never giving up and strength to get up and keep on fighting. And to me you are one of the greatest examples of that. Keep on fighting Thor!

Thor, I had the same treatment done when I torn my pec. After a year and a half, I have never been stronger and I have had no pain at all. I work in the medical field in open heart and I was skeptical at first. I had surgery at University of Maryland and stem cells injected and bone marrow injected by a leading physician. I am currently about 20% stronger in my pressing, but I can’t tell you how hesitant I was with going through this. You are doing the right thing and I am rooting for you big guy!

You've done some great stuff and pushed your body to super-human levels imho. Now look after your body in this phase of your life imho. Things like less impact, doing yoga/pilates or other mobility things, breathing exercises, cold/heat stress therapy that does the body good, nutrition focus, habits improvement, other forms of stimulation eg ping-pong, play baduk/go, do needle-craft and so on! Of course you'll still do some of the strength stuff as that's also excellent for health but yeah look "in the wide" not just the straight and narrow in life.
I had achillies tendonitus for years because of high intensity in a sport I did. Now I switched to other things eg hiking (but light weight back-pack!) and so on and healed up and can walk a lot better but need to keep becoming a pro at being healthy as I become older! Van Basten the football player said he put his body through pain but then now in later life realizes there's more to life than just football... Personally I like spending time walking my dog in the forests while she chases squirrels, rabbits and so on and has a great time, these days!

Retire while you're ahead. There's no shame when you have already proved yourself. Stay active lifting and I'm sure that you can have gigs for years to come. Lifting is for life. You already have the respect from those who love you and care about you and that's all that matters. Edit, I'm 63 5'10 170 pretty ripped and still lift. And I pray I can until the end. I love working out.
