The ACTUAL Best Team for Pokemon Emerald

- I found flaws in my previous best team video for Pokemon Emerald, so I created a new one that outperformed the previous one. This is my updated opinion on the best team for Pokemon Emerald.
- Ігри
This really isn’t helpful because you don’t talk about all the Pokemon you show yourself using that aren’t a part of this team. You know…. All the Pokémon you used along the way that helped you get TO the elite four. Kinda trash.
You can not even beat your rival under the bike path because you have no counter to Grovile. L video.
Your comments are intellectually dishonest at best. However, it seems that there are people who believe what you're saying, so I’ve edited this comment to make it easier for other viewers to see for themselves why this comment is wrong, misleading, and malicious.
The footage you refer to (where I SUPPOSEDLY use other pokemon before battling the elite 4) is from this video: ua-cam.com/video/KPA_M3tXjKs/v-deo.htmlsi=fBTq48kznNhuBm0N
This FACT alone disproves your argument. I DID NOT USE ANY POKEMON ASIDE FROM THE ONES IN MY LINEUP FOR THIS VIDEO TO BEAT THE GAME.
HOWEVER, so that the people who agree with you will see that my current lineup of the strongest team for Pokemon Emerald is credible, I’ll go ahead and elaborate on my approach to crafting teams.
All my playthroughs are subjected to the following rules:
NO GRINDING
No revives
No health-restoring items unless the hp bar is yellow
Items can only be used on the pokemon in battle
If a team I use is able to beat all the obstacles in the game, it is the strongest team. Nothing more, nothing less. The lineup in the video is the team that was able to win under those rules.
Also, regarding May in Route 110, I don’t remember anymore what strategy I used to beat her, so maybe the reason you can’t beat her is because you have a skill issue. However, if other viewers need advice on how to use this team to beat her, here’s what I would do:
Lower Grovyle’s speed and accuracy with Marshtomp’s mud shot and mud-slap. For sure Marshtomp can handle at least one absorb.
Make sure Tentacool has the liquid ooze ability. That way you can pivot into Tentacool from Marshtomp when Grovyle attempts to use absorb and instead of regaining health, he’ll deal additional damage to himself.
Figure out a way to enable Slakoth to use yawn on Grovyle. Grovyle is powerless to Marshtomp’s mud-slap if he is asleep because Marshtomp will lower his accuracy to the point that he cannot hit your team for shit, and then it’ll be easy to defeat him afterwards.
If you really doubted the credibility of this team, you would have replied to my original explanation a long time ago. You did not. Your comments were clearly written with the intent to bash my channel. Although I can handle any form of bullying, I will not stand by and allow such bullying to taint the judgment of my viewers and, subsequently, their ability to enjoy the game.
Very respectable comment compared to mine. You are a commendable human being. Thank you for being the way you are and sorry for being dumb rude. The only confusion I still have is where you caught a slakoth before that point in the game. @@DFuegoH
But you do forget and relearn movesets, right? Because you need waterfall and dive at some points in the game or am i wrong
@@legn7324 Yup! The movesets posted are for battling the elite 4 and champion
Just here to bragg that I've been subscribed since before this channel blew up

>:D
0:08 no way
Here is my team.... (how i feel is easier to train and beat the game, but dang you beat elite four with lvl 36? That's mega!)
Blaziken (With charcoal)
- Flamethrower, Brick break, Aerial Ace, Bulk Up
Pelipper (with sea incense)
- Surf, Fly, Shock Wave, Ice beam
Exploud
- Shadowball, Ice beam, Strength, Rock Smash
Vileplume (with miracle seed)
- Petal Dance, Toxic, Sludgebomb, Cut
Magnetric (with magnet)
-Thunderbolt, Thunder wave, Bite, Hidden Power (Fighting)
Gardevoir
-Thunderbolt, Psychic, Calm Mind, Flash
Along the way, to make it easier to beat the game, I caught a Geodude, which is really useful in the early games until Norman
Graveller
- strength
-magnitude
-rock smash
-rock throw
Anyway, to beat elite four, I do need to level them up to near 50.

hey just letting you know shedinja doesn't learn screech (ninjask does), so what other move would you recommend?
@@Gamerknight-br6hh when Nincada evolves into Ninjask, you can teach him screech, and THEN Shedinja is created with a copy of Ninjask's moveset. So yes Shedinja can learn screech even though technically that move is not in his move learnset
@@DFuegoH how do you make the copy with screech?
@@Gamerknight-br6hh teach it to Ninjask when Nincada involves
@@Gamerknight-br6hh it happens automatically
3 water types??? Didn’t see that coming
Hoen IS the region of "too much water" afterall.
Could you write down the movesets of all Pokemon in this team ??
Sorry it's late. Please check my pinned comment.
How can i get scizor?
My team is lommbre , swampert , gardevoir , lairon
Is this team good ????
I'm at 7th gym rn
You should do best competitive team ( against friends etc)
I love your style man, subbed right away and I hope u can make a career out of yt
Thanks a lot!
Blaziken
Crobat (shadow ball user)
Lanturn (fill water gap/ eletric is VERY usefull in this game)
Only real weakness is psychic and maybe ground (luckily not many strong encounters in the game).
And don't forget your Zigzagoon, and since there are 2 more water HMs, Tentacruel/gyarados are good.
But I'm still searching for the best team of 3 for me. Most of the good pokemon encouters are very late in the game, like Lanturn appearing just right before 8th gym and E4 Glacia.
Best team of 3? Hmm, I'd definitely have to say 1 of blaziken/swampert, I'd go gardevoir for slot 2 it's so good and you get it right away, and for the 3rd I could see crobat as you've listed. It's faster than anything you will be up against and gets toxic fly sludge bomb giga drain shadow ball bite etc. I used to run mine with toxic, confuse ray and then spam fly
What HM moves did each Pokemon have? To get past obstacles?
Slaking had rock smash and strength, while surf, waterfall, and dive were distributed among the three water types
Swampert, shiftry machamp crobat starmie/alakazam salamance
no flying type?
this team got the drip 💧 to be fair waters are always busted especially early generations
OHKO move’s accuracy depends on opponents level
My best team is
Swampert
Magneton
Breloom
Milotic
Shedinja
Gardevoir
I think its
Swampert
Swellow
GARDEVOIR
BRELLOWM
NINETALES
SALAMANCE
I beat whole elite 4 and champion with only one Pokémon and it is slacking
My team consist of swampert, gardevoir, walrein, agron, alteria, and for the legendary that goes to groundon
Shedinja is not immume to hail. If glacia use the move, it will take out his single hp
Shedinja is only meant to be used against Walrein, who does not have that move. Milotic will defeat Glacia's pokemon that use hail, and then Shedinja will be rotated in to defeat Walrein when the Hail has stopped.
Only a short time? Does this mean that if your channel doesn't take off, you will dissappear off of the platform?
That would be a shame, your videos are good quality and you have a really nice voice for these kinds of voice over videos.
If I may, you might wanna consider finding someone to help you with thumbnails. Many of the ones you have has stretched out images that looks warped and kinda unprofessional. And they don't have anything that creates cohesion or showcases any type of Channel Identity.
For example Game Theory has their logo and a signature green text on most of their thumbnails, so you can instantly tell it is from them.
Thumbnails are like mini advertisments for your videos and your channel, when any person looks at their feed, the thumbnail will make or break their decision to watch.
I'm sorry if this comes off harsh, but I really like to see you succeed.
Edit: This thumbnail also has an issue with the Pokémon Emerald logo, the white block around it also looks unproffessional. You can avoid this kind of thing by using PNG's of logo's instead or you could use a colour to transparency tool. They have different names in different programs. Photoshop calls it colour to masc I believe.
I really appreciate the feedback! I like when people are frank and provide constructive criticism, so don't hold anything back in the future haha. I can tell you support my channel and letting me know what you think has encouraged me to keep grinding.
Anyways regarding your point on thumbnails, I agree there's something lacking in them. I'll keep what you said about thumbnails being a way of branding my channel in mind, and I'll see if I can find a way to improve their quality. If I can't find a way, I'll indeed seek help.
Thanks again for the feedback that was very helpful :)
@@DFuegoH I am glad the feedback was appreciated ^^, I can't wait to see your channel thrive even more!
A different suggestion, maybe you should updates your profile picture. A Pokémon Protag Avatar does get the job done, don't get me wrong, but it isn't as personal as say a custom artwork or a logo. And if you find the right kind of Avatar or Logo, you can cooperate that into your future thumbnails as well, so could be a win-win.
golem can carry a team for the first 6 gyms
My best team is Blaziken flygon Azumarill sablye groundon breloom
Losing to the twins lol
Best teeam
Magicarp
Honestly Gardevoir in my team really sucked the entire game. She was pretty useless.
Did you properly allot experience points to her? Did you use the right moveset for the battles where she is needed? Do the other pokemon in your team make it easier for Gardevoir to work her magic?
Gardevoir CAN be useless if she is not properly utilized in conjunction with the rest of your team. The game developers purposely made her pre-evolution forms weak so that the player would be forced to think about how to train her and enable her to stay part of the team if they really want Gardevoir to be in their lineup.
I would suggest you think about those things, and then reevaluate why Gardevoir was useless in your team.
Nah best team is blaziken raichu gyraddos ,salamence, machamp, Tropius
My blazicken with bulk up ans double kick could handle 95% of the content. I dont even know why you all pick up these strategies 🤣
Your team is just Blaziken?
My best team:
Swampert (best starter period)
Breloom (evolved at lv54 just to have spore😂)
Sableye (no weaknesses, needed for leveling shadowball)
Gardevoir (so damn powerfull)
Salamence (op, and flyer)
Aggron (caught just before league, great check and powerful tank/attacker)
Post game:
Dropped Gardevoir for Metagross (op with shadowball and earthquake) aggron for Manectric (electric type coverage for league rematches) then for Latios during battle frontier, last dropped sableye for Torkoal (need fire type to deal with Steven)
I came back to tell...shedinja loses to hail.. he sucks against the walreins
Skill issue
For other viewers confused as to why I responded this way to op, read my response to the comment "Shedinja is not immune to hail. If glacia use the move, it will take out his single hp"
-Sceptile
-metagross
-manetric
-torkoal
-crawdaunt
-flygon best team
I'm kinda late but my team was:
Blaziken (Flamethrower, Brick Break, Aerial Ace, Bulk Up)
Ludicolo (Surf, Waterfall, Ice Beam, Giga Drain)
Gardevoir (Psychic, Thunderbolt, Thief, Calm Mind)
Glalie (Ice Beam, Crunch, Water Pulse, Toxic)
Skarmory (Fly, Steel Wing, Aerial Ace, Return)
Flygon (Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Crunch, Rock Slide)
No the best team is
Lapras
Salamence
