Charizard 2. Vileplume(FR) or Victory Bell(LG) 3. Snorlax 4. Magneton 5. Gyarados 6. Alakazam or Mr Mime(if you can't trade)
nice video haha i had basically the same team but instead of vileplume i had vapeoreon for blues blastoise as it has water absorb for that hydro pump and would just bite making blastoise flinch and krabby as my HM slave
Since my pokemon team is already developed, I'm thinking of deleting my original save to replay and completely be faithful to this video. I'll try punching down notes if that's okay (Thank you, DFeugoH. Hey, DFuegoH. Thanks for your helpful videos. Do you have any footage of your teams battling the elite 4 in each game? Im having a hard time with black 2 and was wondering how you beat it.
It's the question I posed at the beginning of my video! Figuring out what members work best is a complex problem, but as long as you evaluate potential members within that framework and in relation to the most difficult obstacles in the game, you can figure out your own answers.
I don't see a reason not to! It will be a while though before I make a video for that game if ever because I have to familiarize myself with the trainers and the choices available
Team for charizard, and no starmie? Starmie can sweep 3/4 of the elite 4 and the rival by itself (and all the gyms after you get it). Was it not mentioned because it's version exclusive? Starmie is like alakazam and gyarados in one.
I understand why Charizard gives you a rough road, but ive always considered it a trade off the rough start vs more potential in a endgame team. Please note that i dont switch out pokemon with the two exceptions of the one time usage of Flash and the additional required usage of Rock Smash they added on the Islands. For me a team needs Cut, Fly, Surf, Strength so that being said i see Charizard as the greatest Fire choice as he frees up a flexible spot where you would otherwise be using Fearow or Pidgeot (Dodrio is a flying type not an actual flyer get the f*ck outta here xD)
Honestly if I were gonna use a team just for fun I'd pick Charizard simply because I like his shiny. But yeah any team with him as the starter is difficult to use haha
@@DFuegoH Youre absolutely right there im not arguing that from the Gym Leader / Elite 4 perspective he offers the least but then i always have my most needed HMs incorporated into the team which makes a big difference in team building and ofcourse do take all trainers available so my team isnt as impressively underleveled to still get the task done as you did.
@@user-pakshibhithi10 In my opinion, it is Venusaur that belongs on the strongest team for Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. However, if I were given a gameboy cartridge for Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen, and only had to choose ONE starter for my team, it would be Charizard. Why? Because I think his shiny is the coolest of the three starters. In other words, if I had a gameboy cartridge where I could play Pokemon FireRed, I would make sure my whole team is shiny because it would be fun to have my whole team be shiny. That's what I mean by "I like his shiny." Hahaha
I did with Lapras! Unfortunately his ice typing makes the team weak against Lance and he does not contribute to the strategy needed to take down Blue. Vaporeon does not contribute to the strategy needed to defeat Blue either, which is why he isn't on the team as well

@@vinmisanthrope9719 if you overlevel ANY decent pokemon, it is easy to beat a pokemon game. I kind of dont get the picture. This team is build so you dont have to "overlevel" pokemons - but you cant even best misty with this team without putting in extra work. You get gloom at lvl 21 and it has no gras moves that outperform starmy, you dont get magnemite after you get surf...thats way to late. Its better to just pick picatchu and level it normally and you wont run into any trouble at all, or am i missing something?
@@freakaz0id89 Gloom learns poison powder at level 14. Gloom can defeat Staryu 1v1 using absorb, then can outlast Starmie in a battle of attrition after using poison powder (and maybe a potion hahaha)
No idea! Natures are not that important when it comes to building strong teams. While looking out for the right natures would boost the team's strength, the value added is miniscule. So long as the members of the team mesh well together, the team will win against the obstacles in a pokemon game without the need to unnecessarily grind in between fights.
Lapras's ice type cancels out her resistance to fire types, and it also makes her weak to fighting types. Replacing Gyarados with Lapras would doom the team to lose to Bruno and Blue.
