Today we take in a new 2024 ZX6r. But not just any zx6r, this one has been upgraded with a few stunt bike goodies. Including the upright bars, stunt cage and tail. If this customer plans on doing some stunt riding, a custom tune should definitely help with the smoothness when doing so. In order to achieve these numbers, this customer wanted to add the sprint p08 filter and drilled out the cat. This along with the Akrapovic exhaust and link pipe he already installed really opened this bike up to help it breath better. Not to mention the zx6r exhaust sound clips sounds sooo much better now! This thing sounds great at all rpm ranges. Once we took care of those little things, we put it on the dyno to see just how much power we can pull out of this bad boy. After looking at the final graphs, it's pretty clear that a custom dyno tune on your motorcycle after an exhaust is a MUST. Sure you may be able to get away without, but your motorcycle is going to run a little rough and not efficiently after doing a slip on exhaust. That's why we always recommend doing a ecu flash and tune.

im former customer of yours. u guys did great work. BeCareful talking about drilling cats epa will shut u down . they did it to diesel tuners 86n dpf systems. 25000.00 fine apiece.

That's pretty awesome. 50ft/lb of tq! People think and say they're getting 128hp to the wheel are either misinformed or really full of $hit. You guys really are ontop of the dyno game❤
We got 127whp out of one recently. I'd love to get one and really teat the limits and pull low 130s out of it! 💪💪💪

Question. Why do a dynotune after an ecu flash if the ecu is a tune itself no? I’m still learning tryna understand

I got a 40th anniversary zx6r. I have a 3/4 system installed (yoshimura at2). Much like the one in this video. Breather box was removed with a link pipe to replace it. What do I need to do to decat?
Also is that the impack tech cage? Do you have to cut the fairings to install that?
We did not install cage, the owner did so I'm not sure on that one. If you still have the stock header then more than likely you still have the cat. There are a few methods to removing the cat, we opt to drill them out as of now and it's a bitch! It's not complicated all in all just a very labor intensive project lol just be ready for a couple of hours of cussing and throwing stuff 😆
You do have to cut the fairing. I have it installed on my 40th anniversary ZX-6R.
How does this bike compare to the full M4 exhaust bike that you tuned?
I have a 2024 ZX6R and am curious to know how you are seeing the factory header compared to a non-restrictive header like the M4.
M4 is a great system as well. Usually it will be similar top end power but the overall powerband will be better with the full systems
This is exactly the information i was looking for. So do you think the full exhaust is worth it or not worth it for the big price tag?
