2023 Kawasaki Z H2 CRAZY POWER!!! Exhaust and ECU Flash

    This might just be the most powerful and fastest upright motorcycle on the market! The 2023 Kawasaki Z H2 comes from the factory extremely detuned, lacking power and just super restricted. We had the pleasure of getting one of these Z H2 bikes in to see what we could do. After doing a full Brocks exhaust on this Z H2, we saw a little bit of gains, but not enough. We were able to unlock it even more after doing an ECU flash though! This supercharged motorcycle HAS to be the most powerful upright motorcycle on the market. Especially after the exhaust and a little time on the dyno. Remember, these numbers are only from a tune and exhaust. Imagine what these Z H2 numbers would look like if we took it even further? Fingers crossed we get another Kawasaki Z H2 in soon so we can go even further!

    Moore Mafia flash, P08 air filter, and exact same Brocks Pentacarbon as the bike in the video. Absolute freaking MONSTER! I've been riding sportbikes since 1992 and have ridden some of the fastest bike made and this was the first bike I've ever ridden that when I'm wide open in 3rd gear and quickshift into 4th at redline and it pulls the front wheel up....all ego aside...I bout pooped my pants. :-)

    These bikes are so much fun. My wife has a 2022 ZH2 that we did a custom powder coat job in the frame and supercharger. I put a zx10r header and yoshimura exhaust, sprint air filter and moore mafia remote tuning. Havent tossed it on the dyno but i suspect similar numbers. I put a 19 tooth front sprocket on it and it still power wheeiies in 4th gear with no problems.
    I had chris leave the throttle restriction and timing alone for rain and road mode for the wife and give all power in sport for me when i ride it and its so much fun on the track. I have the yager works intercooler on my h2 sx and the boost temps stay super cool when im on the track beating on the bike.

      We recently did some dyno runs on a Moore flashed one. It made around 203whp but also very conservative mapping. It did not have an intercooler setup on it so we can't push them too hard in that case. They are monsters regardless 🙌
      We have a 2022 ZH2 getting dropped off today for yagerwerx intercooler setup and ecu flash and tune so we can push it and leave it on this go around 🤙

    It's a damn shame somebody has to pay to fix a bike that's neutered from Kawasaki, in order to get the power that Kawasaki worked hard to engineer and create. Just correcting the throttle-by-wire settings to keep the ECU from crippling WOT at high revs gives a huge gain.

  • @sural89
    @sural89 Рік тому +1

    what was your boost temp on the baseline pull ? without intercooler those bike are very air temp sensitive

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  Рік тому

      So on stock boost levels you should be fine as long as you are not riding in high rpms and heavy throttle constantly. On this one I was seeing anywhere from the 140s on the low end to around 170s/180s on the higher side before the pull. Now right after pull we will hit low 200s but it cools down quickly and remember, I can't simulate 100+ mph wind speeds. Only about 20-35mph womd speeds so it won't be consistent data compared to being on the road. 👍

    I have a serious question. If he mentioned this in the video sorry if i,missed it. How does adding an exhaust pipe add more air to the engine?

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  11 місяців тому

      It doesn't add more air to the engine but rather increases air flow going out of the motor making it more efficient. When you in crease both air flow going into and exiting the motor, you now have the ability to create more power by correcting the tune.
      I will go more in depth with this on our q&a video coming out soon 🤙

  • @mot-trance

    Nice Work !!! But im still confused about AFR and the O2 sensor... I need a clearence about this may be... Im right that in the ECU mapping are also different AFR numbers behind and the ECU can change the AFR about + - 30% with the result from the O2 sensor ??? So if i "just" change my exhaust system to fully open, i do not need any ECU remapping... Please clear me up... Im realy confused right now... Thanks ( BTW.... im on a z900 2019 )

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  11 місяців тому

      So the stock o2 sensor is not programmed to hit efficient afr numbers. Usually it is programmed for a leaner AFR (such as 14.7 or sometimes even leaner than that from what we've seen) due to emission laws.
      If you change your exhaust, I usually recommend to people at least go to a dyno where they can educated you and show you how exactly your bike is running after changes are made so you can make an informed decision whether or not to tune the bike.
      We are going to start a new series on the channel where we do q&a segments. I will happily go into more depth on this 🙌

      As long as you have an intercooler on it, it should be fine all in all. Obviously the more you beat on a bike, even in general, the less life it will have in it. But overall, with proper care and love, there is no reason why this motor/bike shouldn't last just as long as a normal oem one.

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  10 місяців тому

      I would say no more than around the 210whp mark without intercooler setup. But it also depends on driving habits. If you beat the shit out of your bikes then maybe 200 or lower. If you are more moderate rider and do a hit here and there and you monitor iat (boost) Temps then you can get away with a little more hp.
      Put the intercooler in and you can push around 230whp and it will be fine 👌 and that would be on 93 (r+m/2) pump gas
