Right and, hockey pucks tend to fly into the stadium periodically. Hurling danger to fans. Weird...I think they're just affraid youre not directing attention to the teams. 😢

Knitting and vanlife are two of my favorite things in the world so your channel is one of my favorite watches. As an aside, I built I out my own sprinter camper so I totally understand the struggles with water and space. I have two lifehacks that I learned that might help with convenience and water: I bought an electric collapsible silicone kettle from amazon to make my coffee with my aeropress-- not only does it boil quickly, it doesn't offgas and takes up very little space. And to wash my dishes, I scrape the food off, then use a sponge with soap and a spray bottle. It saves a TON of water. Can't wait to see where you go next!
I am obsessed with my aeropress! It is so handy at the office, but I can see the benefit for van life/camping as it's so easy to clean. I love all the gemstone inspired yarns added to your blanket this week.
One of my favourite nearly-no-cook but reasonably healthy meals: Find a healthy instant ramen soup package (not all of them have fried noodles), boil up the noodles and flavour packages according to the instructions along with frozen edamame, and right at the end add some chopped veggies like coleslaw mix and chopped firm tofu. Done.

Good to know about Climate Pledge Arena. I have been able to take my knitting needles into Seahawks games, but had to toss them for a Sea Dragons game..same venue, but different security management.
Great podcast! Loved the van segment as well. I love Oatmeal and have extremely low energy so the cooking segment and especially the overnight oats recipe was great. Def using that.
Love your hexie blanket and really want to make one. You mentioned using minis as well as full skeins. Do you keep the remainder of the full skeins for other projects? I’m sure each yarn you might want to add does not come in minis. Thx for sharing your travels and experiences.

Curious what hike you did in Olympic National Park that was dog friendly? Also, I wonder about having a needle keeper around the needles so when they look at them the 'sharp' aspect doesn't stand out. I always use them because I have wooden needles and the small sizes can snap easily if im not careful. Ive never had trouble including one international airline that specifically states no knitting needles.

I think the deal with hockey is avoiding ANYTHING getting on the ice. Seems stupid but....well, hockey fans can be "creatively expressive" compared to other arena sports😉. Enjoying these videos very much! Just over the mtns in Leavenworth, WA... Come visit! We are the sunnier side 🌞🌞
