You guys really got a franchise QB in Watson and then traded him for a bunch of picks and the proceeded to get someone arguably better. Must have been a crazy 2-4 years for Texans fans
When Watson sat out the whole year in 2021, I think it completely destroyed his ability to really play football. 2 years of not playing and not really practicing that whole time can just obliterate your skills
His mental too. Gone. You can tell he's just not the same at all. Lost his IT factor. But hey. He's 250 mill richer. The browns deserve that curse. As soon as it lifts they do some dumb shit to get it right back. Here's to another 50 years of brown stains in Cleveland
Not only that, but he's likely not getting the right coaching. Cleveland isn't known for it's ability to coach up and teach QBs anything. Mike Vick sat out for 2 years, but he went to work with Andy Reid and Andy completely changed the way Vick played. Vick also was determined and worked extremely hard to learn from Andy, which is something he said he didn't do in Atlanta. Watson doesn't seem interested in being better or putting the hard work in to rebuild his skills. He seems intent on saying 'Look, I'm DeShaun Watson. I was already good. Why should I have to put more work in than I already do?'
Not saying it’s impossible, but it’s EXTREMELY unlikely a guy that hasn’t played quality football for 4 years is able to get back to anything close to what he was.
@@Nicholas-HTX just like berry for the browns just remember if warson falls flat I GURANTEE a ELITE QB will find their way to Cleveland the roster is too good

@@onlyonezay419And Watson being good will get you what? Divisionals? A Conference? And even if it’s the best case scenario and they scrape their way to a superbowl, a team that has Watson starting at QB is not winning it. The Browns eviscerated a 5th of their cap space on a mid QB they can’t trade for 5 years, in his 2 years so far, Watson started a grand total of 12 games, lost a third of them, has yet to play a full season, will be coming back from a shoulder surgery this year and isn’t getting any younger. Call me crazy but I’m not entirely optimistic about the prospects of him winning the city of Cleveland a Superbowl despite being paid as such.
The browns are 3 seasons into the deal and have had 0 cap casualties and drafted multiple starters in the “window”. Contracts do not matter if an owner is willing to spend it. This isn’t Cincinnati.
He doesn’t care anymore if he’s good or not. That fully guaranteed contract was all he needed to hear. It’s really too bad what happened with him, dude was electric when on the Texans

Watson just isn’t meant for a west coast style timing offense like the Browns had until the end of this season. Former Bears personnel guy Josh Lucas described how Watson makes a living outside of structure instead of quickly getting rid of the ball in time when his back leg hits the ground on a 3-5 step drop. Not a Watson fan but I believe he’s going to play very well this season which will make the Browns a contender. Browns vs Ravens is going to be a good rivalry for the next 2-3 seasons.
In other words, he needs to run around looking for open receivers and then tucking and running... and getting injured. Brilliant. Maybe Watson needs spend some time learning to quarterback like a big boy in the big boy game instead of pretending he's in college. Perhaps if he spent less time in opulent palaces in Saudi Arabia, and more time studying film... but that ain't happenin'
@@runningbeard7380 You definitely have a point. I was following Clemson when Watson became the QB. Ppl forget that the offense was changed a little, some would say simplified, for his last season after falling one game short of the championship the year before. Josh Lucas described why NFL teams passed on him, including the Browns. They saw a guy with incredible talent in every aspect a QB needs but when they excluded plays outside of structure they had concerns that he would struggle in NFL offenses. Now is that because he doesn’t put enough time into film study? Is it that he hasn’t embraced processing the game like other pro QBs? I don’t know. But when he goes off script & just tries to make something happen he’s successful at moving the chains & scoring. He does things that are a lot of fun to watch. Whatever the case the Browns have to keep him on the team for 3 more seasons so they got a new OC who will install an offense that maximizes Watson’s chances of scoring. With that defense the Browns can win games scoring 20 points. I believe Watson will have a good year & there will be plenty of highlight plays & an offense that’s fun to watch. I believe they’ll win at least 11 games this season & will be a threat to beat any team on any given Sunday.
This whole video don’t sit well with me. Watson was 5-1. With the occasional bad game he had 4 good games to total to it. It makes no sense to me how someone who leads a team to wins simply, “doesn’t have it anymore”. Now look if it shows this season then I’ll go ahead and rebuke the claim but going off last years film he is 100% still a top 10 QB, which is extremely hard to be. I’m not saying the browns are winning the Super Bowl, but to say they aren’t contenders is flat out stupid. Especially with their defense as good as it is. Deshaun can be a shell of himself and still take this team to the Super Bowl. Which was kinda apparent last season. Which could attest more to how good Deshaun Watson really was before. When an MVP contender takes two years off, it takes time to get the game back. Not to compare his player demographic to Jordan, but he retired then came back. Jordan got sent home that year by the damn Magic, WHO GOT SWEPT IN THE FINALS😭. Deshaun just needs time.
I’m a Texans season ticket holder and I have seen Watson play in person more than 2 dozen times. To hear people say, “Get back to who he was in Houston,” is so funny to me. Because the national media had to ask nearly every week, “Which Deshaun are we going to see this Sunday?” He was electric at times, but he was also aloof and seemingly unconcerned at times on the field. He had amazing stats in 2020, but only won 4 games and during his time he was barely a .500 QB. As someone that has seen him play a ton, I can guarantee you, you’re not going to the Super Bowl with him.
When he was in Houston he was barely a pro he made multiple pro bowls as young quarterback finding his way as a pro only Dam Marino came into the NFL on fire Montana,Elway, Brady, Bradshaw and so many others developed into a great quarterbacks so to say a young pro bowl quarterback can’t get better is ridiculous Deshaun time in Houston wasn’t even his prime yet

You need to research this a little bit. "Guaranteed" is not really meaningful; when a guy makes that much money he's uncuttable whether the $ is "guaranteed" or not.
Okay, so basically this dude was one of the best qb’s in the league playing for a mediocre team. The moment he rioted to not play for this team, all the allegations come running in. Now, don’t you find that suspicious??? Two seasons with the Cleveland Browns, he only plays a hand full of games. And he wins most of these games. So now think about this, it usually takes a rookie qb a season to settle into the league and dude barely played a whole season. So I don’t get why we’re judging when he’s only played 12 games between two seasons since he’s joined the team and he’s won 8 out of the 12 games. So we need to be realistic, and this about if dude had a whole season to play. Because I ain’t no math major, but he seems to be doing a better job than most qbs in the league from a W/L standpoint.
@@runningbeard7380great points. Just like the browns won, but in spite of watsons poor individual play. Having a top 3 defense in nfl definitely helps.
If he plays the full season this video will age HORRIBLY. Dude is 28 I believe. All he needs is to STAY on the field and he will find his rhythm and become top 10 again.
I believe that he will play well with the new offense. They didn’t bring in a new OC because Flacco struggled in the last game of the year. They did it because Watson just isn’t meant for a west coast style timing offense like the Browns had until the end of this season. It won't matter. Browns ain't beating the Chiefs or even th Texans. The Texans completely erased Myles Garret because CJ is a real west coast QB and can get the ball out
This guy lost 2 years of football due to his own stupidity. He has no confidence and has shown no reason that it will get better. The browns are boned with no end in sight.
neither. the most painful thing is the 3 years off of Chubb and Ward and Garrett's and Bitonios and Tellers and Njokus and Coopers and everyone else's career. this is a really good football team. it just needs a qb to play at its level and we could contend for a superbowl
You sound slow Deshaun deserved every penny of his contract for what he did in Houston he went to multiple pro bowls and far as draft picks Browns had a ton of high draft picks how that work out Browns were a laughing stock before the Watson trade name one Browns quarterback that went on the road and beat the best team in football at that time Deshaun played so well against the titans and Cardinals he didn’t even finish the game slow fans brainwashed into believing Deshaun can’t play anymore because haters say so 😂
A little bit of both. The worst thing is deshaun hasn't even been mid. He ranks 25th or lower in passer rating, qbr, and pff grade since joining the browns and he only averages 185 yards per game. Last year in 6 starts he had 7 tds and 6 turnover. The dude is a joke now. This is one off the biggest falloffs I've ever seen.

Every year the browns didn’t have a first rounder, they still drafted first round talent. JOK (2nd rd), Delpit (2nd rd) Emerson (3rd rd), Dewand Jones (4th rd). So they didn’t mortgage their future. When a 27 year QB that’s produced like Watson did up to that point, of course he was paid 230 million. He’ll get his contract will get reconstructed every year and his salary hit will be nothing will be realistic. Watsons only shitty game was week 2 on national TV which is why every national TV analysis is wrong when they talk about Watson. He looked good in every game but Pittsburgh. We should judge Watsons success on games against the AFC north, other elite QB’s, and playoff success. Oh yeah, and also being healthy. He hasn’t played a full season in Cleveland yet.
To me the biggest red flag for Watson is just how much better the offense got with Joe Flacco, who came out of retirement at damn near 40 years old lol. Flacco absolutely unlocked guys Njoku & Cooper and took them to levels we’ve never seen Watson even come close to achieving. Watson has made this offense very average, unlike Flacco who made the Browns look elite at times. Flacco imploded in the playoffs yeah but the Texans are just the better team right now and the Browns defense was putrid on the road all season.
Exactly, offense was humming like we’ve never seen. The defense gave up 31 points on the road and to the team they turned into a beast. This is all why this trade was horrible and yet watson d riders keep making excuses.
If Cleveland fans want to have hope in Watson then thats their perogative, Im just ecstatically happy that we in Houston dont have to deal with him anymore. We now have a young, lights out , balls to the wall franchise QB because of Watson and the Browns.
I don't. Baker needs everything to be perfect to succeed. Like playing in great conditions and in the worst division in football. Browns are the complete opposite. I know it easy to compare but it's not just black and white.
Yup brissett led browns in passer rating, qbr, yards, tds, and pff grade in 2022. Then flacco in 2023. Watson making 230mil and aint led the browns in passing yet. 😂
It's very fashionable to talk up Brissett like he's good, but you know what? he is NOT good. It's true that Watson could sleep walk his way to an 11-6 record on roll outs, keepers... play action passing, etc. as long as they can collect 150 yards rushing a game, that'll happen. But Watson isn't a pocket passer, he likes to move, and he will get injured. Jameis Winston will have more pass attempts than Watson, that's my prediction.
Why not? The league wrote Baker Mayfield off, are you expecting special treatment for Deshaun Watson? Particularlry when he's done little to demonstrate that he gives one teensy FK?
As a ravens fan I actually rooted for y’all time to time when y’all had baker you guys should’ve of kept him I lost all respect for the Cleveland brown when they signed Watson
idk what to say as a fellow football fan from Cleveland. from my pov, its this surreal and yet unrealistically tragic black mirror, black comedy that is a contradiction of itself to just have any type of prior association with the factory of sadness. where i can simultaneously not be a fan of the team, and it have nothing to do with Deshaun repping as the franchise face. but more because of the process of decision making that led to Deshaun Watson contract being an example of why you stopped being a fan of the team. one of many consistent examples, that makes the entire organization unreliable. to the point that one of the best decisions they've ever made (drafting Myles Garrett) is simultaneously one of the worst decisions ever (passing on Patrick mahomes) and it even hurts more if ur me and you saw it coming literally on draft night and ur a day 1 believer in pat's game. the sheer timeline and price asset management wise of that mistake is enough alone to lose faith in this team, when you consider that on this very night they not only refused to trade up for mahomes, but they then traded the pick that selected Deshaun Watson to the texans, this becomes a sequence of events a writer wouldn't even attempt because of how improbable it logically is to ever happen at the end of the day. so believe me when i say there is far better reasons to hate the browns than deshaun watson and the worst part of all it is the fact that you inextricably, inexplicably feel empathy and relate the painful context of the history that made the decision for itself personally, having grown up a fan of the team. it's as brutal an emotional conflict that a fan of any team of any sport will ever experience for those who don't know what it's like.
Solid video man - fellow Browns youtuber here - I agree to the fact that consistency has been a serious problem, but it did in fact get consistently better throughout the season. A lot of these bad reads/throws came in week 1 in a downpour and week 2. Week 3 and on it was steady improvement, and even then the browns were second in the league in drops and Watson had a severely injured shoulder. Hitting the layups will be the biggest thing in ‘24
I think only playing 3 consecutive games last season is gonna hurt his consistency. He’ll be fine, all the stuff you complained about is easily coachable and fixable.
There’s qbs in the league that don’t need coached and fixed. No one’s waiting for him to figure it out and the browns passing on all these high end picks will catch up with them even more. Have you guys seen the talent other teams have acquired?
You clearly didn’t watch Deshaun last season. He played fine last season and will be better next year. The only bad game he had last season was against the Steelers. Going 14-14 against the ravens in the second half and 289 yards and 2 tds with an 80% completion percentage vs the titans. He’s 8-4 as a brown including 5-1 last season and he hasn’t had a bad season in his career. I can’t wait until next season so he continues where he left off last season and show everyone the elite qb he is and to shut up everyone who didn’t even watch him play last year
Y'all always mention the 14-14 half. That is ONE HALF! *ONE!* I guess Zach Wilson would be good with that bullshit logic. Also, he was 5-1 cuz that defense was genuinely disgusting.
Newsome won the Ravens game on a pick 6, Watson didn't do anything special. One of those 5 wins came in game in which he left in the 1st quarter after going 1-5. His best game was againstt a Titans team that never got going and scored just a FG. Deshaun lost the Pittsburgh game on a 4th quarter fumble recovered for a TD by Watts. Flacco played like he gave a damn. Watson is in his own world.
@@runningbeard7380 going 14-14 for 150 and a td vs the ravens isn’t anything special? The browns do not win that game without Deshaun that’s a fact. Flacco single handily cost the browns the playoffs. Two pick sixes in consecutive drives? If that was Watson he would’ve been crucified for doin that. Stop overrating Flacco he sucks

watson is so cooked and done, he gets the reigns this year but I'm not sure Huntley can't outseat him, and looking at '25 on who knows. the contract is bad but 46m a year is tame in the higher salary cap league.

These clips against Watson are so cherry-picked it’s insane. Watson played most of the season injured. You didn’t mention in either of the week 1 clips the conditions; It wasn’t 80 and sunny, It was cold and down pouring through the majority of the game. A game which Joe Burrow had 85 yards of total offence and looked horrible. And yet Watson was able to command his team to a win. And the pick-6 against the Steelers is on Bryant. Sure the ball was a little over thrown but that’s a ball you need to come down with especially after the bobbling that’s not on Watson be fr.

I don't think he was that guy in Houston either. 2020 was a fool's gold year. There's something very suspicious about a QB having 70% completion on a 4-12 team. Tom Brady is considered the "Checkdown King", but his career high is 68.9%...in the 18-1 season. Yes the defense was awful, but that utilization and efficiency should win 8 games by accident. I expect interceptions in a losing season because your taking risks to chase games. But those are game manager numbers.

@@lamontrankinjr.280 you can’t be serious with this comment. Watson’s done jack all in 2 years with the browns and will be lucky to be 9-8 this year. Cannot wait for the incoming reality check.
So, what you noticed in the film study about Watson holding on to the ball too long was a theme in Houston too. He has never taken the easy shot, and instead opted to play hero ball and wait for things to develop as far downfield as possible. He just doesn't care to hit the wide open guy if that guy isn't where he wants to throw it. Difference is, he was able to make it all happen in Houston often enough that he looked like a good QB. If he was able to take the easy 4-6 yard pickups on 1st and 2nd down then we'd have been a playoff threat even with BoB as HC.
how often in NFL history has a player been great then have 3 seasons of being bottom 5 in the league or injured/suspended and then return to being even good.. no matter the circumstances... its extremely rare
As a Texans fan, I really hope Watson turn it around this year! May not be the best QB out there but he does have the wins. He was like what 5-1 last season??
As a Ravens fan I was actually halfway impressed with Watson's game against us, I definitely didn't expect that kind of grit and he did enough to let their defense drag them over the finish line. That's pretty much how this year is going to have to go, they'll go as far as their defense can drag them, and with good injury luck that's a pretty long way. The issue is that they're stuck in a division with two other elite teams with top-5 QBs and SB ceilings, and a wildcard team that constantly wins when they shouldn't (and vice versa), they can be very, very good and still lose the division handily. Setting aside if Watson will ever be elite again, that ship has probable sailed, its enough to ask if he would be a significant upgrade to options like Mayfield, Brisette or even Cousins, plus millions in cap and 1st round picks. The answer is almost certainly no, not even close, their odds to win the SB would have been better without him, even if they somehow win it this year.
The real kicker is how long the rest of the locker room tolerates him, football players are probably better equipped to look past a national pariah and sexual predator then your average American, but it gets harder when that player is clearly holding your team back and materially damaging your career in the process. It already says something that a HOF player like Garret can grind himself into dust for his team and get paid considerably less (guaranteed or otherwise) then Watson, if he decides to have a problem with that towards the back half of the year, this whole thing gets unworkable real quick.
Watson's persona changed in 2021 when he sat out. In wrestling terms.... He was a baby face and he turned heal. His play ability was shattered. He can't play knowing he has haters and is not the man. He feels like he must perform to shut everyone up. Makes him play worse.
Watson finna return to pro bowl Texans form this season I am Texans fan glad we got cj but browns fans finna be happy they got Watson this season watch see ✌️💯
It would be crazy if yall could get something going again. I like the browns I liked desean as a Texan till all the lawsuits.. I’m not praying on his downfall, I just legitimately think the browns should have kept baker
There's a few things nobody ever talks about when it comes to Watson. First, she's never played in cold weather in his life. I'm not saying he hasn't had a couple games here and there , but now he's playing outside in the cold for more than half the season. Second, nobody ever talks about how all the off the field stuff. Most likely messed him up mentally, psychologically, and emotionally. At this point I have little to no faith in him as our quarterback. People think I'm nuts but I'd rather have Winston starting over him
The Watson trade will go down as the worst trade in Browns history. After he shits the bed or gets hurt this organization will yet again be searching for the " guy" ..... Totally Cleveland
I think when he accepted that money, behind the scenes the NFL told him to follow his own personal script so he can look like a failure instead of a good QB
What's crazy is Baker is a top 10-12 QB all day and he didn't have nearly the roster Watson has . That wasn't good enough and everyone wanted him gone . We could've built this same team around him for a lot less and without selling our future. 4 head coaches in 3 yrs and playing when he should've been benched when he was hurt. Now we're hoping to get a top 12 QB ranking out of watson lol
I still wonder why they did try to get Tim Kelly, he was his OC in 2020 for Houston, Watson knows the offense and liked it, don't get me wrong I'm very happy this is the turn Deshaun's career is going but for the Brown's sake it would have been worth exploring considering he is a Tight ends coach for the N.Y. Giants for 2024.
If only the Browns had a quarterback who wanted to play every Sunday, even if he was hurt and probably shouldn’t. I just don’t know where you would find one.
Dude was hurt. He was playing hurt. Not sure why everyone keeps ignoring the very important thing. Stop with the disingenuous stats that mean really nothing because he was hurt. You don’t play good when you’re hurt, you nerd
I seem to remember a Browns fan requesting that members of Browns team serve as Paul bearers at his funeral...wanted to have the Browns let him down one more time 😂
Watson is Haslam's 2nd QB by demand. The 1st guy was Manzeil. This is why you don't let owners make personnel decisions. 2020 Watson was 4-12, why does everyone leave that part off the hype?
There are numerous inaccuracies in this video. It's difficult to comprehend how one could extrapolate from a single clip in a game where the Browns win due to Deshaun's performance and assert that he is among the worst quarterbacks in the league. Crazy!! A game where he's 14-14 in the second half despite a shoulder injury, leading the Browns to victory over the Ravens and outperforming the MVP. The "film breakdown" exhibits significant bias through its selection of unfavorable clips and biased interpretations. For instance, the first two clips are compared unfairly, as they are from different weeks, with the order implying that the second week came before the first. This overlooks the natural progression and improvement that can occur from one week to the next. Furthermore, the breakdown fails to acknowledge the adverse weather conditions in week one, where neither quarterback could grip the ball due to heavy rain. This omission raises questions about the fairness and accuracy of the analysis.
You seen ALL of his stats are bad man. Qbr, passer rating, pff grade, completion percentage, yards per game, tds. Why defend a qb that ranks 25th or lower in everything.
@@runningbeard7380 If you were closely following the games throughout the season, you would have noticed a quarterback slowly finding his rhythm after a break from football, initially caused by legal issues and later by injuries. During the 2023 season, he only managed to play three consecutive games at most (Week 1-3), so it's difficult to expect strong offensive chemistry to develop under such circumstances. It's quite surprising how little attention the significance of Nick Chubb's injury on the Browns' offense receives, especially considering they operate a play-action style offense.

Has there ever been an instance of a player willingly sitting out a season and it actually benefited their career? I can't think of any.
The Russel Wilson fiasco really overshadowed the Watson fiasco.

Browns vs Ravens is going to be a good rivalry for the next 2-3 seasons.
wow an actual logical take...we dont see these often
Well said, even as a ravens fan I’m excited that he’s in the division. Makes for better football, long as he Lamar and burrow stay healthy

Ken dorsey runs a verticals. You better hope Watson didn't lose any arm strength
I’m going to make a prediction that you’re wrong. If anything they’ll be no more excuses for watson.
@RipliWitani you hope he did you bum😂😂😂

I’m a Texans season ticket holder and I have seen Watson play in person more than 2 dozen times. To hear people say, “Get back to who he was in Houston,” is so funny to me. Because the national media had to ask nearly every week, “Which Deshaun are we going to see this Sunday?” He was electric at times, but he was also aloof and seemingly unconcerned at times on the field. He had amazing stats in 2020, but only won 4 games and during his time he was barely a .500 QB. As someone that has seen him play a ton, I can guarantee you, you’re not going to the Super Bowl with him.
When he was in Houston he was barely a pro he made multiple pro bowls as young quarterback finding his way as a pro only Dam Marino came into the NFL on fire Montana,Elway, Brady, Bradshaw and so many others developed into a great quarterbacks so to say a young pro bowl quarterback can’t get better is ridiculous Deshaun time in Houston wasn’t even his prime yet

idk what to say as a fellow football fan from Cleveland. from my pov, its this surreal and yet unrealistically tragic black mirror, black comedy that is a contradiction of itself to just have any type of prior association with the factory of sadness. where i can simultaneously not be a fan of the team, and it have nothing to do with Deshaun repping as the franchise face. but more because of the process of decision making that led to Deshaun Watson contract being an example of why you stopped being a fan of the team. one of many consistent examples, that makes the entire organization unreliable. to the point that one of the best decisions they've ever made (drafting Myles Garrett) is simultaneously one of the worst decisions ever (passing on Patrick mahomes) and it even hurts more if ur me and you saw it coming literally on draft night and ur a day 1 believer in pat's game. the sheer timeline and price asset management wise of that mistake is enough alone to lose faith in this team, when you consider that on this very night they not only refused to trade up for mahomes, but they then traded the pick that selected Deshaun Watson to the texans, this becomes a sequence of events a writer wouldn't even attempt because of how improbable it logically is to ever happen at the end of the day. so believe me when i say there is far better reasons to hate the browns than deshaun watson and the worst part of all it is the fact that you inextricably, inexplicably feel empathy and relate the painful context of the history that made the decision for itself personally, having grown up a fan of the team. it's as brutal an emotional conflict that a fan of any team of any sport will ever experience for those who don't know what it's like.
You're a moron if you hold "passing on Patrick mahomes" against the browns. Stop being a browns fans we dont like morons.
As a texans fan I was shocked we were 2 picks away from Patrick. That bring said Browns and Bears will never win anything
Hitting the layups will be the biggest thing in ‘24
Watson has sadly always been a Lackluster QB he had a few flashes in Houston but his body of work is mixed results and he plays with ZERO passion 👍
Browns should’ve tried to make a deal for Trey Lance from Jerry Jones.
You can't average less than 200 pass ypg.
The idea of a team that is a qb away has always seemed flawed. The qb changes the dynamic of the game on both sides of the ball too much.
Oh man its even worse than anyone expected
To think that two of the dumbest trades, if not THE two dumbest trades in NFL History, happened IN THE SAME YEAR!
Deshuan World, or How I Spent My Offseason Vacation...
"I had a nice time in opulent palaces while kissin' Saudi a$$... and making more off the interest of Browns money than the majority of these slobs in Cleveland will make in a lifetime...". he has no fire, and no clue... but that's what fans have to live with for a few more years. I truly hope Baker Mayfield continues to go about his business actually playing with passion and helping his team win, while Deshaun is living in Deshaun World.
Obrien offense racked up yards but it never surpassed top 10 in dvoa. It was like Blake Bortles mixed with Chip Kelly
Amen
11:15 first game of the season (It was also raining) vs 10:35 his last game. Werid how QBs get better as the season goes uh. Also in 12:20 the outside wr ran the wrong route
you are showing games from game 1 or 2, this man had alot of rust
The ravens game was like week 10, what are you talking about. Never ending excuses.
@@StayPuftMarshmellow and guess what that was his best highlight, u just proved me right
Giving him all the money guaranteed was totally insane
Plus all of those draft choices.
They treat Baker like crap and mortgage the future for Watson ! Such a Brown's thing to do
Baker couldn’t cut it.🤷🏾♂️
Baker went 9-8 in the NFC south. Made the playoffs beacuse of the weak divison and did baker things. (4th qtr interception) WE DONT MISS THAT
@@lamontrankinjr.280 Baker takes every team he goes to to the paly-offs. He was btter than Watson's weird asz
@@PatriotWatchUSAwhy didn’t he take the Rams or the Panthers to the playoffs
Then you realize he was 5-1 as a starter last year before his injuries.
That wasn't because of him.
Browns are so cursed
This man is not done, y’all simply wanna write him off when he hasn’t been able to play a full season because of his legal troubles.
cope harder
and health. How many years has it been since he's played?
how often in NFL history has a player been great then have 3 seasons of being bottom 5 in the league or injured/suspended and then return to being even good.. no matter the circumstances... its extremely rare
Yes, because his "legal troubles"... quite the euphemism.
As a Texans fan, I really hope Watson turn it around this year! May not be the best QB out there but he does have the wins. He was like what 5-1 last season??
he got a "win" after completing 1 pass and the backup came in. He's not special, the backups all had wins too.
@@runningbeard7380 If he came in as a backup, then it doesn't go towards his win/loss record since he didn't start
Guy that made the video it's gotta be your first year watching the NFL , that video was funny lol 🤣
All this hate gotta stop man the man’s been injured. He will return he was great when he was playing stop this clickbait bs
I still have to believe he’ll start playing better I’ve already saw too much from him to underestimate him
Watson finna return to pro bowl Texans form this season I am Texans fan glad we got cj but browns fans finna be happy they got Watson this season watch see ✌️💯
Wanna bet >
Doubt it. He looks washed. Scared on the field
His 4-12 form? Or blowing a 24 point lead in the playoffs? Which form we talking about here?
He tore his lis frank
It would be crazy if yall could get something going again. I like the browns I liked desean as a Texan till all the lawsuits.. I’m not praying on his downfall, I just legitimately think the browns should have kept baker
The numbers agree with you in every way.
I don’t think Baker would have had the team in a better position. Watson will turn it around this year.
You'd be wrong but what difference does it make
@@PatriotWatchUSABaker was good for the Browns that they gave up on him and took a PR hit. Lmao
People think I'm nuts but I'd rather have Winston starting over him
The first example your assessment is wrong. If he makes that pass across the field the under DB or Safety would make a play
Are you blind? Flacco was making those throws and putting up numbers the browns haven’t seen in decades.
The Watson trade will go down as the worst trade in Browns history. After he shits the bed or gets hurt this organization will yet again be searching for the " guy" ..... Totally Cleveland
Lol I’ll be back to this video in 8 months. Can’t wait to see you then
I think when he accepted that money, behind the scenes the NFL told him to follow his own personal script so he can look like a failure instead of a good QB
This channel is honestly one of the dumbest browns fan channels I’ve seen
He's a baker bro XD
Dude has been a train wreck for years now
@PatriotWatchUSA with a name like PatriotWatchUSA, we already know why YOU don't like him 😂😂😂

@@cydneyrobb3554 Baker goes to the play-offs. What do the Browns do?
@@PatriotWatchUSA The same
Have you seen the schedule? It’s going to age like a fine wine 🤌
So the Browns have to just hope he’s as good as Baker Mayfield was in 2023… right on, great job Browns 😂😂
2020 Watson was 4-12, why does everyone leave that part off the hype?
... do you wanna look at the second half of the Ravens game, when he went 14-14 and led the Browns on a 14-point comeback to win in Baltimore?
His QBR is pretty damn low, and the reason for it is the big misses that the games shown exhibit.
You seen ALL of his stats are bad man. Qbr, passer rating, pff grade, completion percentage, yards per game, tds. Why defend a qb that ranks 25th or lower in everything.
@@runningbeard7380
If you were closely following the games throughout the season, you would have noticed a quarterback slowly finding his rhythm after a break from football, initially caused by legal issues and later by injuries.
Cope harder.
Born in Cleveland in 1955 until 1973 by moving to Cincinnati until 2003 moved to Las Vegas. I'm RaiderFan since 1967. We hoping AOC & Minshew. Just consider how often in NFL history a player has gone from being good-great then having 3 straight seasons of being bottom 5 in the league at his position or injured/suspended... and then return to being good-great... no matter the circumstances involved. It's extremely rare. The better question to ask is what's more likely... DeShaun Watson plays a full season leading the Browns to the playoffs, or DeShaun Watson is released before the end of the season?
I think Kurt Warner is the shining example.
@@Portuducks He is.. and pretty much in a class by himself. Closest I can think of would be Randall Cunningham but he doesn't really count because it only happened for 1 totally outlier year. Besides them I can't think of a single other occurrence... not a good sign for Browns fans.
Like the best quarterbacks don’t have bad games I saw Marino,Brady,Elway,Montana best of the best have terrible games Marino had numerous games where he threw five picks in one game to act like great quarterbacks always make the right decisions in the pocket is ridiculous I can make the same video about Joe Burrow missing open receivers Burrow always gets off to a slow start but he finishes strong Deshaun is the same player Deshaun gets better as the season goes on so to say he’s washed because of six games is ridiculous and Deshaun played great against the Titans ,Cardinals and the Ravens in the second half haters dismiss those games .
Deshaun Watson should run for president
