This version is very good, much more intense and impactful but you cannot forget that the S and G version was performed just by the two of them singing with an Acoustic guitar. The song was also first performed at a very different time in music 59 years ago. Most importantly with out Simon and Garfunkels excellent original version there would be No other versions performed.. Ever.

I first heard this song when it first came out and LOVED IT!! I Sent it to my son who loves heavy metal. A few days later in his music theory class in college his professor talked about this song and nuances.
