Kids should be innocent as long as possible, and these parents should get a fucking slap.
@@HenrySimple How, because they took their daughter front row at an awesome concert and a rock superstar took the time to focus on her when she was scared? Yea, maybe you are just simple.
I passed out infront of the stage at a show with disturbed, and stp. I was taken backstage and they sat me down and were checking on me and David came over and asked me if I was OK and just talked to me for a minute. It was at the end of the show and while he was talking to me everyone from disturbed and stp stopped by to see if I was OK, never will forget that. Just good people
He's f****** with you trying to make it look good. Any type of concert with that many people is no place to bring a tiny little girl especially putting her in the front row what the f*** is wrong with you guys.
Not easy to balance the needs of a crowd with the needs of an individual within a crowd. What a masterclass. He's a class act who clearly cares about his fans. What an orator, too.
Metal singers and musicians are the most humble and sweet natured people. I lost my mother to cancer, and shortly after I lost my father to a stroke, the only things that gave me comfort, solace and spoke to me while my family was tearing itself apart with grief were the Iowa and Slipknot albums by Slipknot and Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe and The Sinister Urge. The subject matter of Iowa in particular really summed up how I was feeling. I wrote to the record company/management of both artists......they wrote back. Rob Zombie sent a handwritten letter offering support and thanks, and he said better days are ahead, he even called me brother, while my own family were barely speaking to me. Slipknot...a BEAUTIFUL letter from Corey, just sending love and understanding, and how honoured they were that their work meant so much to a fan in an emotional situation. The whole band (Shawn, Paul, Chris, Sid, (who also drew Decepticon and Autobot logos for me, because I said I'm a Transformers fan), Craig, Mick, Joey, and Jim) signed it too (I've had the signatures checked, they're genuine). I still have them in a safe place, they are treasured. It's the pop singers who are usually crap people. With the loss of Paul Gray and Joey Jordison, the Slipknot letter has a new meaning too, I'll never part with it.
I can relate to the first part of that. The doctor told us to take our father home from hospital because there's nothing they could do for him; maybe 9 months to live with terminal liver cancer. Mom and I did the tough stuff that nurses and orderlies do - 9 months almost exactly. About two weeks after his passing my mother had a stroke she lived with for 2 years but her heart was gone the day he died. I'm sure that brought on the stroke; so much real love they had that anyone could see.
That's what I love about the scene. The fans may look scary, the lyrics may sound violent, the moshpits may look chaotic, the bandnames may be obscene, but they are some of the greatest people I have ever met. And those who look the most like you don't want to mess with them often turn out to be the kindest
To be honest, I've never even heard of Disturbed. I guess I live a sheltered life, lol. I just saw the heading that he stops show to comfort a scared girl. I am so impressed by what he said. It gives me hope in a better future. Seeing & hearing so much that is so messed up has made me view the world pretty negatively. This is beautiful. We need people like him in governments around the world.
David is a wonderful human being. I’ve been to few of their concerts over the years. Definitely recommend if you ever get the chance. And even better if they do their cover of the sound of silence.
I never heard of Disturbed until they did The Sound of Silence. Covers are seldom better than the original - but by god, they seriously did the song justice and made the words more haunting!! Watch the video! They’re really brilliant!
I know! I'm like you in that regard. It's funny how this guy looks so tough and mean on the outside but he's just the sweetest, gentlest person! We need more people like this in this world!
I’ve been to a LOT of shows in my 52 years on this planet. Disturbed is one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. I swear, it was the most cathartic release, just 90-ish minutes of pure fun, not caring about a damn thing except the music.
This mans speech was AMAZING, and the fact that he stopped the show to comfort a little girl and give that truthful speech shows how big this mans heart is and just how down to earth he is! ❤️👍
I was at that show, for context what happened is that he asked her to come on stage. She got the camera put on her and you can see her parents were excited and want her to go. But it's obvious she didn't and then she started to cry. This was all on the big screens for everyone to see during the show as well so he stopped what he was doing and went up to her to comfort her and give this epic speech.
This is proof that despite how we in the metal community may look scary to non-metalheads, we are actually very caring of eachother and everyone because we know just how shitty it can be sometimes
We're all human buddy. No matter how we sing. No matter how vile the lyrics are. No matter what the beat is. No matter what the chords are. No matter what the gain is set at. We are all human.
I've only ever heard one Disturbed song and that's Sound of Silence. I know it's not their song but that's how I know of them. This man is a gent. He went above and beyond to comfort this little girl and what he said, makes sense. One family. One love for music
Disturbed also did a cover of "Shout" by Tears for Fears, it's on the mellower side of their discography, which I'm getting the impression is what you lean towards.
Ive seen David stop a show at ozzfest to let a disabled kid who was crowd surfing come up on stage and kept him up there through his act. He has always been such a good human.
I saw Disturbed live once about 20 years ago. David stopped mid song to call out someone getting handsy in the crowd and shut it down. He's a hell of a human being, and always has been as far as I can tell. Always liked his music, but that day in Little Rock I became a fan of the man behind the music.
Disturbed never really hit me. Probably when they started I had outgrown metal. In 2016 I watched their concert in Maximus Festival. The guitarrist is one of the nicest and gentlest musicians I've seen live. He plays metal, but he was smiling the whole concert, making eye contact and pointing to people like he was saying "this chord here is for you". I really respect artists that connect to their audience on that level. This video is another example of that.
This man is what we call a CLASS ACT!!!!! How awesome is this man!!! He stopped playing and saw a little girl having a hard time for some reason?? So instead of just singing the songs he stopped singing and walked right down to her and her parents and talked with her. I am just in awe of how cool this is!!!!
These parents are foolish idiots bringing a child to an adult concert like this when it’s obvious she’s not enjoying herself there or even feel comfortable. It’s selfish and pathetic how the parents cared about taking the girl to a concert where only they enjoy instead of what the little girl would enjoy
@@Kitty_bandida22 she was singing along to the songs a lot of the show you don't know why she was upset your just making assumptions karen. Apparently, she knows them well enough to sing along so stop talking down. And you're also making the assumption that the title is actually fact that she was "scared". What do you think she hears there that she doesn't hear on the street, her school, most television these days glad you didn't raise probably would have grown up with damn mittens 24/7.
Facts, read a study a couple years ago which claimed people whose music choice is metal tend to be the most sensitive, attentive, compassionate and well natured while classical tended to attract psychopaths etc… can’t remember the entire study but was definitely interesting
I never seen anything like that in my entire life at any concerts WOW, not only are there devoted fans but that shows a devoted band . Very impressed by what I just experienced just now . Cuz he is right we are all one. Kudos to you disturbed rock on.
He’s a really cool guy. My sister has been lucky enough to go back stage more than once with Disturbed and she said they’re all very respectful family guys. They had their kids running around and were also taking pics with my sister and our nephew. She even got to go on the scaffolding above the drums during 10000 Fists. Good dudes.
I’m sorry you feel that way, I actually know a few musical families, two in their own band and the others, just your average gig goer, in there younger days they’d all go out together.
I have so much respect for him that he not only noticed that she was scared and having a bad moment but stopped his entire show to go comfort her and let her know everything was ok and that she was going to be ok. That is so badass!
Not to discredit wat u said but he actually noticed her singing along the whole concert and wanted to bring her up on stage but she got really shy and scared when the parents were trying to motion her to go up there. So he came down for her instead!
@@csSpetzNaz thank you so much! I was wondering why she was scared if she loved the music. I love that he didn't force her and came to comfort her instead.

He didn't stop the show because the girl was scared, He stopped the show because he was blown away by the girl singing along to all his songs.. A true artist who appreciates his fans.. ❤
Here I was wondering what actually happened. Scared? How?? Especially if she was there singing her heart out to the tunes. But what's also cool is when these metalheads go and mind the kids. See, that's what I generally like about metalheads. They tend to be gentle giants. But I wonder why he was asking if she was okay, though?
Well that was the 2nd reason, he said he didn't mean to scare her & then he was trying to show there's nothing to be scared of & started complimenting her to take mind off what just happened but either theory, it was nice of him👍
What a class act David is, I've seen interviews he has done with his struggles with depression and he always comes across as the most genuine, caring and compassionate guy, much respect for him.
Often those who have struggled are the ones who have the most compassion. Been there, done that type of thing. Having the ability to so eloquently speak on the spur of the moment shows that those words he spoke are how he lives, how he moves thru the world. There is wisdom in him. A lot of it.
Depression is an endless desert where one thirsts for a drink they expect never to come. It's also an endless sea of saltwater, where they may drink from and go deeper into the desire for more and more and not actually receive what it is. Depression is knowing that when you pull out hope from Pandora's box, it is because hope was placed in there with all of the other maladys and hindrances as a final death knell to desire any further good thing. Concepts like hope and fear died a very long time ago for me. I'm okay with that; I use this unique position to do everything I can to help others whenever signaled to a call to action.
This is what we need more than ever right now! I've been a fan of Disturbed since the first time I've ever heard them, & they have gotten better every year since day one! There is a big misconception of metal music & the people who listen to it, I can truly tell you, David Draiman & the men of Disturbed are without a doubt some of the most beloved souls in this world! Keep spreading the message of love. Bless you all, keep rocking hard & kicking ass!! ❤️🤘

I recently worked at a concert while a stereotypical "heavy metal" band was there, and let me tell you: every single customer I talked to was AWESOME. They were super respectful, even if I had to tell them something they didn't want to hear. I was blown away. They were the nicest crowd I ever had the pleasure of interacting with. (For those curious, the worst crowds are generally rap concerts)
@@dragonmerchant we recently had a Snoop concert in which nearly 20 ambulances had to be dispatched for various reasons I'm unaware of. During the concert I mentioned in my original comment, we had 1, and it wasn't even on the venue's property.
@dragonmerchant I had heard about this but never experienced it firsthand. The insane part is that, during the concert in question, there were PROTESTERS near the main entrance because the band portrayed ""satanic imagery."" Despite the fact that every single one of the 500-1000 people I talked to were extremely considerate and kind. One of the protesters assaulted my teenage coworker, forcing her to be sent home temporarily. If they were half as nice as the people they were protesting against, the world would be a better place.
Can say the same. Not even one bad encounter (maybe 2 or 3 people who where just inpatient). Old people, rap and electro fans have been relative worse than metalheads
well, because when it is what he really believes in, the words come easy. Unlike the politicians and celebrities and other people who are just manipulating us with their words
Preachy of what - non-discrimination?You're implying this was planned. What do you mean Im curious? He decided to preach on basic decency, so he concocted a plan, picked a small girl to intimidate, so he can then have a platform to preach and look good? Guy already has a platform.. Obviously I'm overemphasizing my point, hopefully not to an extreme extent. I don't have anything in bad faith for you, just curious about your position.
The gentleman has unfortunately spoken incorrectly , profanity (swearing and irreligious behaviour is not acceptable). Jesus was God's son his life was blameless and yet died for our sins , he also only spoke excellent things , we must conform to the image and likeness of Jesus and his teachings in bible book Luke and we must obey them to enter paradise instead of the fire of gehenna for rebellion , not to earthly idols whether that be artists or anything more important than God. The child must have felt in her spirit that something was not right , one should not first go through the darkness to find out there's light , go straight to the light of Jesus and skip the darkness
Actual proof humans can be magical. We are not machines, we are not animals, we are all beautiful and powerful and precious. Never stop rocking Disturbed.
And he's right! When I go to concerts, being a fan of the band or the music or loving feeling the base on the ground are just excuses for me to go. The real reason is that I love being part of the crowd, the unity in it. Doesn't matter how different or similar I am with each person in the crowd. I just love that we are all there because we enjoy the music. We all leave our troubles and worries outside the venue and just enjoy the experience. I'm always physically tired after a concert but emotionally and mentally, I end up feeling lighter.

@@michaelkiley5658as he said it: "they may be dark, but darkness can show the light". I think he scared her with a more profane song. Generally associated with bad guys. They dress black, their music is hard. But they're about goodness. Dark can be good. Don't have to be scared of bad words as there's so much worse than profanity in the world. Listening to more popular songs at home is one thing but when the whole crowd throws F bombs by command of the artist (for example) that can come off differently to a kid her age. But again, I'm not sure what exactly scared her. Just assuming by the context of his speech.

Lemme tell you that most rock or metal singers or most members of rock and metal bands are actually kind, loving and caring people, who have their own families, their own kids, and they want nothing else than a better world. You'd be surprised how many tough looking guys have really soft and warm heart in reality. Appearance is often misleading.

Been to a Disturbed show before, and David Draiman is such a fantastic human. Cares about everyone who attends his shows. I’ve always enjoy their music since the late 90s, but after going to a show for the first time I was so shocked at what an amazing person he is. He did a whole tribute to his good friend Chester Linkcoln Park through the song Sound of Silence and it was beautiful. Highly recommend you go to one if you haven’t.

For some reason this video clip started playing on my phone and I started to close it out but something held my finger back for a second and let me tell ya, that was the best two minutes I have spent listening to someone about us as a whole, and how we are gonna survive the chit our governments are putting us through right now, and how we are gonna prosper…… together, once we get through it but he is exactly right folks, we have got to stand UNITED and help one another no matter what music you listen too or what I listen to, we are still both human beings with feelings and dreams of success, dreams of having a partner, a home, possibly a family, certain cars, etc. Please folks, let’s continue his message and continue broadcasting it across the globe and work to love one another, help one another, etc cause without us working together, there’s no way we can defeat our governments tyranny when they come to lock us down again! They are dividing us so they can control us easier but I’m willing to protect you if you’ll help me and together we will defeat them and then we will prosper instead of them and we can continue listening to different varieties of music and respect one another and have a long & happy life!! I’ve gotta run for now tho cause I’ve gotta go pull up some Disturbed music and listen to what I’ve been missing all these years cause this guy is fantastic and everything he said is absolutely true!!!!
I am a firm believer that music was given to us as a gift from our home, and it's intended purpose is to comfort us while we're alive. He's right, life is hard, for all of us. It's from our home. All of it, rap, metal, country, pop, house/dance, punk, classical, all of it. Even some that we haven't invented yet. Dude is a class act.
This is why disturbed is one of my favorite bands. David is an amazing human. His life has been absolutely terribly tough and he’s got a heart of gold.
amen, and I have no idea who Disturbed is and as I posted, I'm a Deadhead, time to find out...what a good man. Odd music is full of folks like this and most of us are unaware...
It's amazing to see his intelligence and true self comes out of the darkness and show everyone respect love and to show it's an act his darkness and songs are sung for enjoyment and entertainment
Always knew this man was talented, was lucky enough to have seen them WAY back in the day. I watched as they transformed into masters of their craft. Always had my respect as musicians and now it’s on a whole other level
What a guy, what a band, I had the pleasure of meeting Disturbed before a concert and David is so humble and polite, I was in a devastating car crash, I broke every bone on the left side of my body and my neck aswell, my main artery to my heart was ripped open, I was in a coma for 6 months and died 3 times, “The Light” gave me the strength to fight and I’m walking and living my life like it never happened, against all the odds. David thanked me for telling him my story, such a blessing to have met him. Music is very powerful and can drag you up from the deaths of despair. ❤
This made me cry, thank you 🙏 for sharing that it’s truly inspiring as someone who has had three surgeries this past year one of them being brain surgery and it’s been a rough recovery but reading this made me feel appreciative that God is good and teaches us lessons we never knew we’d learn and grow from. Much love to you.
“Sometimes, darkness can show you the light.” It’s honestly amazing how good that was to say to her. She’s crying because she’s scared, and he was able to comfort her and spread positivity. And it only happened because he accidentally scared her. That terrifying man she saw on stage showed her she didn’t need to be scared him and gave her loving vibes from the whole crowd. It’s fantastic
I saw him last month in Tampa. For those who don't know, he has been struggling with depression and attempted suicide a while back. Thank god, he did not succeed. They are one of the few musicians speaking out against depression and promoting help lines. They are speaking out against hate and violence. At every show, he reaches out to people and tells his story. How many people have they saved!?!?!?!?! I can only imagine. ❤
"Sometimes, darkness can show you the light." I'm in tears. As someone with bipolar, it's not something I know. He's right and it was an amazing thing to say. What an amazing man he is.
I have depression, anxiety, PTSD due to extreme abuse growing up and have faced darkness until I have seen the light. I like Disturbed so much, their music has helped me through some of the dark times.
What an absolute class act by the lead singer of a hard metal band. To take the time out of his show and show such compassion for this little girl is truly amazing. He is not afraid of his image, or anything fake like a lot of entertainers. He showed his true human spirit which I feel he should be proud. These are the guys that we all root for in life and become fans of. Well done,,,
David's speech needs to be broadcast everywhere. He is classically trained. At an audition for lead singer( not sure if was Disturbed) they were at first not impressed with his training. And Then David Sang 🎉. Speechess , they were in awe of his metal hard rocking audition ,incredible vocal range . He was hired. ❤
Ive never been a huge fan (I dig some songs) of Disturbed music but I think the lead singer is a really enlightened person. We need more people like him in the world. The Sound of Silence cover is my favorite song he put out. I know its not his own song but he made it his own.
Fun Fact, David is a big fan of Simon and Garfunkel's music and met with them once and they told him they liked his version a lot and he should claim it as his own as it contrasted theirs so beautifully
Amazing how a hard rock/metal singer can give a better speech than any politician has in the last 50 years.

Disturbingly OUTSTANDING. I'LL support this group just based on that singers actions. Little hope left for humanity, right?

Definitely listen to their cover of The Sound of Silence. It is mandatory!
I know! I'm like you in that regard. It's funny how this guy looks so tough and mean on the outside but he's just the sweetest, gentlest person! We need more people like this in this world!
Even Paul Simon said they may have wrote it (Sound of Silence), but it was made for Disturbed. Watch it on Conan.
I’ve been to a LOT of shows in my 52 years on this planet. Disturbed is one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. I swear, it was the most cathartic release, just 90-ish minutes of pure fun, not caring about a damn thing except the music.
Iron Maiden is like that too. I'm seeing Maiden again in September, but now I need to put Disturbed on the schedule as well!
20 years on ya and still love it!!
I haven’t been to a disturbed concert yet but I hope one day I can.
This mans speech was AMAZING, and the fact that he stopped the show to comfort a little girl and give that truthful speech shows how big this mans heart is and just how down to earth he is! ❤️👍
Yea it is! ❤❤
He ROCKS to the CORE!!
Love him and Disturbed!🎉❤
It also shows that he has been to the dark places and lived through them. A true wise and intelligent man. Xx
Heavy rock and metal has the best fandom... Except black metal. Fuck those guys.

One family. One love for music
Disturbed also did a cover of "Shout" by Tears for Fears, it's on the mellower side of their discography, which I'm getting the impression is what you lean towards.
Listen to The Light. I promise you will fall in love with them after hearing it. They have so many good songs.

I always thought of him as okay as a singer, but this hit me hard. I have the utmost respect fot him. Amazing. Thanks for sharing this.
A f#&$n good guy, a father a human being.
These parents are foolish idiots bringing a child to an adult concert like this when it’s obvious she’s not enjoying herself there or even feel comfortable. See, that's what I generally like about metalheads. They tend to be gentle giants. But I wonder why he was asking if she was okay, though?
That’s not true. He stopped the show because he did scare her.
He literally said he didn’t mean to scare her.
Well that was the 2nd reason, he said he didn't mean to scare her & then he was trying to show there's nothing to be scared of & started complimenting her to take mind off what just happened but either theory, it was nice of him👍
Why is he asking her if she’s ok then?
That’s dumb because I bet 95% of the people there could say the same
What a class act David is, I've seen interviews he has done with his struggles with depression and he always comes across as the most genuine, caring and compassionate guy, much respect for him.
Often those who have struggled are the ones who have the most compassion. Been there, done that type of thing. Having the ability to so eloquently speak on the spur of the moment shows that those words he spoke are how he lives, how he moves thru the world. There is wisdom in him. A lot of it.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Draiman
@@wendybutler1681wow, daaaaamn 😮😮😮
Depression is an endless desert where one thirsts for a drink they expect never to come. It's also an endless sea of saltwater, where they may drink from and go deeper into the desire for more and more and not actually receive what it is. Depression is knowing that when you pull out hope from Pandora's box, it is because hope was placed in there with all of the other maladys and hindrances as a final death knell to desire any further good thing.
Concepts like hope and fear died a very long time ago for me. I'm okay with that; I use this unique position to do everything I can to help others whenever signaled to a call to action.

You never see interactions like this at a Lizzo or "The Weekend" concert, that's for sure... and there's a reason for it too.

Well without Darkness you can't see the light and without light you'll never know of the darkness. David is an amazing guy and even though he can look scary, he's got a huge heart and absolutely loves his family, his fans, and his music.
Wow I've been to more concerts than I can count, and I've never seen anything quite like that. To take the time out of his performance, to comfort a scared child, really demonstrates what a kind, compassionate person he is
Im 29 and ive never seen anything live. But i felt the power of this video as if i were there
Tell me cash app to send you moneyyuyy
Because he is on camera lol anything to make $$$$
He doesn't make more money for that.
Also look around you'll see many rockstars doing similar thing stopping shows for similar reasons. There's just a lot of them who are nice people
Lemme tell you that most rock or metal singers or most members of rock and metal bands are actually kind, loving and caring people, who have their own families, their own kids, and they want nothing else than a better world. You'd be surprised how many tough looking guys have really soft and warm heart in reality. Appearance is often misleading.
This is so amazing and wholesome and I love how kind Dave Dramain is and how acceptive of all. He’s someone I’d have a yarn with as he seems so nice. And he is so on point.
Man, as if I needed another reason to absolutely LOVE David Draiman. His band may sing some dark songs, but his heart is so full of light and love. God bless him.
"Sometimes darkness can show you the light..." - LOVE IT!
It's a line from The Light, one of their songs
@@tomm35 indeed
Sometimes failed parenting can show you the true state brainwashing of the society.
gave me chills .😬
yep sometimes being the prerogative word
Sometimes you meet your heroes and they aren't very nice.
I know very little about Disturbed but this is pure class and genuine kindness
He's done things like this a few times. He's real.
I was thinking the same thing. Don't know who he he is but I love what he said and feel the exact same way.
What a guy. Like some of the other posts I won't pretend to know a lot about them but this is just class .
I know nothing about Disturbed, but what he said resonates through all music and people
@tattooedman42 yep hes a really good dude very big heart
This brought a tear to my eyes!! What a great man❣️
Been to a Disturbed show before, and David Draiman is such a fantastic human.
I've been lucky enough to see both ❤❤❤ Chester broke my heart
I’ve never been a big metal fan, don’t hate it but I grew up in the 70s-80s to that era of rock but I’ll tell ya what, WOW!!!
Disturbed is a One Hit Wonder and DD lives near me. He's a dbag.
@@jaydee9086 if he lives near you, why don't you go tell him that yourself instead of on the internet where he won't see or hear it, Tough Guy?
I've seen them in concert too and he has such a great heart ❤
I am a firm believer that music was given to us as a gift from our home, and it's intended purpose is to comfort us while we're alive. He's right, life is hard, for all of us. It's from our home. All of it, rap, metal, country, pop, house/dance, punk, classical, all of it. Even some that we haven't invented yet. Dude is a class act.
You had me until rap.
@@rantsfromthesofa4653rap can be great you just have to look for good stuff. not the mumble garbage you hear in the mainstream.
@@rantsfromthesofa4653So his entire speech went over you head then?
@@rantsfromthesofa4653, you have clearly missed the point
Our home, you mean the stars?
This is why disturbed is one of my favorite bands. David is an amazing human. His life has been absolutely terribly tough and he’s got a heart of gold.
How has it been tough??
It’s pre planned, staged, scripted, and fake you dolt!
Interesting, I like bands because of good music, hence the reason why I don't like disturbed.
@@Deltron6060I'ma go ahead and call cap
@@Deltron6060So why are you here, then? To troll… wow, what an awesome thing that must be…
i'm in tears at this man's ability to convey so much love and understanding and took the time to comfort and teach Sophia important lessons. Rock on!
amen, and I have no idea who Disturbed is and as I posted, I'm a Deadhead, time to find out...what a good man. Odd music is full of folks like this and most of us are unaware...
😂
😂 why haven’t y’all been able to do it yourself ?
She will definitely remember this moment for the rest of her life. So awesome. And he taught such a positive and important message too.
What a message, she was scared and he stopped to make sure she was ok!!! How awesome is he? He’s AWESOME AND SWEET!
God bless you and may you have many more healthy days.
@@ccl1195 Thank you 🙏🏼
This made me cry, thank you 🙏 for sharing that it’s truly inspiring as someone who has had three surgeries this past year one of them being brain surgery and it’s been a rough recovery but reading this made me feel appreciative that God is good and teaches us lessons we never knew we’d learn and grow from. Much love to you.
@@CholyFlower The human body is an amazing thing and with the right mindset you can achieve anything.
I hope you’re doing ok out there nowadays.
Hell of a guy, David Draiman. After watching this video, guy has earned my respect in a lot of ways. Would love to see Disturbed live one day 💯💯
Do it
You won’t regret it!!!
David is an amazing human being, a great performer, and a great singer!
That little girl listened to every word he said intently and took every word into her heart. Bless her little soul!
“Sometimes, darkness can show you the light.”
It’s honestly amazing how good that was to say to her.
She’s crying because she’s scared, and he was able to comfort her and spread positivity.
And it only happened because he accidentally scared her. That terrifying man she saw on stage showed her she didn’t need to be scared him and gave her loving vibes from the whole crowd.
It’s fantastic
The light being never go to a disturbed concert again lul
And what a lesson to remember
"There is no dark side in the moon, really. Matter of fact it's all dark. The only thing that makes it look light is the sun"
@@TacticalBe right, and these people really believed that quote haha
Lots of metal bands are like this
I saw him last month in Tampa. ❤
Not a fan of the music but man was that beautiful to see. That guy has a heart of gold.
Disturbed has been a big help with my mental state dealing with all my medical issues thanks again super disturbed
I'm with ya on that one. I didn't expect to be in tears either, but that line really reminded me that as well.
Without darkness there can be no light.
Same 🤘😭✌️
Bro fr i shed a tear wtf
What an absolute class act by the lead singer of a hard metal band. To take the time out of his show and show such compassion for this little girl is truly amazing. He is not afraid of his image, or anything fake like a lot of entertainers. He showed his true human spirit which I feel he should be proud. These are the guys that we all root for in life and become fans of. Well done,,,
He's always shown true compassion and concern not only for fans but humanity in general. He's just a cool dude!
This happens more often than you would think, especially in the metal scene :D
That's the word I was looking for as I watched this.... "Class" pure
And they're no so HARD metal any more which I find disturbing. I guess I'll just have to keep playing my older CDs.
one of the countless examples of why disturbed is one of the best bands to see at a concert
Ive never been a huge fan (I dig some songs) of Disturbed music but I think the lead singer is a really enlightened person. We need more people like him in the world.
The Sound of Silence cover is my favorite song he put out. I know its not his own song but he made it his own.
I like his version of that song more than the original!!
Fun Fact, David is a big fan of Simon and Garfunkel's music and met with them once and they told him they liked his version a lot and he should claim it as his own as it contrasted theirs so beautifully

The original is much better
Disturbed’s version is by far the better version!
